Yup. Sativa lover here. CBD sativa only plant. Keeps me awake and mellow all in the same. Very productive. And when I’m drinking gives a nice relaxing buzz that’s for sure without the laziness. Just a perfect combo. Can fully function. Which is nice.
I second that, same thing with me

Thanks, that sounds great. Any recommendations? I'm interested in growing some cbd plants. I've got an indica/cbd now but I like your sativa/cbd description.

I came from the old forum. I love the cerebral Sativas. I like a nice haze buzz and get in a good mood while i enjoy some psychedelic ambient deep trance music.

What are your favourite sativas?

Mine are usually Amnesia haze or any strain based on Amnesia haze such as buddha haze or Amnesia Mac ganja.
It is just very mood uplifting and happy feeling.

Who else likes the cerebral creative racing sativas and which strain do you prefer?

C99 is my favorite but it is a slight hybrid but it has put me on the path for strains from Thailand and others from the area

Want something energetic to vape before running and activities

For clear headed high i would go for (super)Silver haze or (super)Lemon haze. I prefer the Amnesia Mac Ganja or Buddha haze myself, but it could be a bit much for some because your brain goes all over the place. So for doing stuff keep it on the light side and low temperature.

Super silver and other haze are great for trail running (y) but normally send me off trail straight into the woods exploring

Yeah I pissed on the rug...... so what
I'm mostly a indica guy but some sativa is crucial for my medication routine. Today is one of those days, didn't get much sleep and feeling a bit lousy I need something that will help me feel well without making me want to crawl back into bed. Sativa to the rescue! .1 of 91 krypt OG melon 🍉 in the Weedeater with a morning coffee and I'm exactly where I need to be, feeling more physically well with a nice heady buzz and relaxed but not groggy. Not every sativa works for me and I've had trouble with a few like ghost train haze, makes me jittery and skched out. I like my sativa to have a certain amount of relaxation and have had nothing but good experiences with my melon, blue dream, super lemon haze and Durban poison.

Vortex won the first place for Best Sativa in the 1st Annual California Medical Marijuana Cup in 2010 held by High Times. The breeder (Subcool) claims it's 80/20 Sativa/Indica. The two categories are increasingly intermingled these days so I take the labels with a few grains of salt but I like this strain. It grows tall (right up into your light until it burns if you let it) and looks pretty sativa-ish. And it is a very 'up' strain that I like for doing creative things or being active. It works well for me for treating joint inflammation. You can make a very nice bubble hash from this which comes out reddish/purplish - really good for joint inflammation. This is a pack I bought at Harborside dispensary in Oakland, CA in 2012. I kept a small male in a separate room during one run and collected a bunch of pollen which I used to make some seeds, so I have been able to continue growing it over the years.

Well, just to spontaneously and randomly add this at a late United Kingdom hour we are successfully growing 3 blue dream automatic auto flowers which are doing fantastically well and fast plants too.

Ne real true Satuva Autos I don't believe, certainly in reference to land race that I must be sure.

Still very nice pot though and the fact that in certain countries it flowers in the hottest days of the year which makes up for the the arguable compensations vs regular strains in those particular climates.

But I will blue dream are are highly sativa dominant like 80% and that is enough for myself looking forward to that one.

We also have three beautifully stunning and healthy Dutch passion auto Cinderella Jacks which are doing equally well after 7 weeks.

Slightly more of a hybrid effect but has been tested as high as 27% THC fairly recently and is renowned for its high potency level and enjoyable effects.

Wish us luck guys and hope you are all feeling ok and staying mentally positive and calm in this bizarrely disruptive time where yeah so much truth is being hidden from us, making it all the worse.

Stay strong everybody big care going out to everybody out there.

Edit- so please wish us luck now, mum and I's hard efforts.
Fantastic wearher so far. 5 weeks left.

THEN- I hope to be able to share some actual pictures of some beautiful organic clean as can be outdoor grown autoflower buds. :)

I was wondering what sativa strain do you cannasoirs consider the most uplifting and energetic. Any thoughts on that? There are to many freaking hybrids nowadays (which sometimes make you tired). I like Amnesia mac ganja a lot, because it feels really like an uplifting and energetic sativa effect with great flavour and a very very nice lmao high.

which strain gives you the most energy.

My all-time favorite strain is ATF (Alaskan Thunder Fuck). It is consistently the most-therapeutic strain for me mentally and physically, across the board.

Calms my anxiety, helps with my appetite and insomnia, but also keeps me energized and focused while working on projects. Perfect for tinkering in the shop, playing/listening to music, gardening or outdoor work, exploring, or just relaxing with a book and snuggling some furry friends. I think it is the perfect accompaniment to any activity, really. It is my go-to strain and I try to stock up by the ounce when my local Shoppes get a fresh batch in stock.

It also originated from where I grew up in (Wasilla) Alaska. The Matanuska Valley! :)

EDIT - speak of the devil! I just got a notice from my local shoppe that they just got a fresh batch of ATF in stock. Picking up an ounce after work today - haven't had a chance to vape it (yet) so I am super stoked to test it out in the Crafty tonight! :D

Super lemon haze, it makes me feel so good almost to the point of giddiness and I can get the giggles. Excellent going for a walk strain

yes nice weed because it is still sort of focused. but super lemon haze is a sativa hybrid with 30% indica in it so i don't really count that as a real sativa to be honest. people that come from kush and want to try haze may appreciate it, but the cerebral head high it is not even close to an AMG haze. But not everyone may need that or want that. So there is something for everyone out there.

if you want to know the difference between sativa and hybrid sativa. try comparing lemon haze (sativa) to super lemon haze (hybrid).
or silver haze (sativa) vs super silver haze (hybrid sativa). you will feel the difference.

I hate to bust your bubble but those all had the exact same starting "parents".
Then they got super watered down and crossed out with a lot of other polyhybrid cannabis plants.
Unless your growing land race plants that are unadulterated from their locale of origin then it is slim odds it's a full on sativa.
Very few commercial growers touch them even for personal use.

Look for buds that have a lemon or citrus smell. The smell is from limonene, a terpene that has those effects your interested in.

I can't remember the last time I felt a real sativa, they used to be my favorite, but It's always like super lemon haze or white widow is the closest I can find, and I don't find the same psychedelic sativa effects from those.

Gorilla glue is hybrid but very happy Sativa head high. the body stone is very intense though and i don't really need that.
I know a place where they sell weed from the Super Sativa Club. expensive as shit though, 16 to 20 euro per 1 gram.
That is really steep, so i would only buy that for my birthday or something.

I must belong here :) I been working with a cross between Jack the Ripper, Amnesia Haze and Night Queen. Lots of grapefruit zing and euphoria. Those Jack The Ripper (shit name) genetics are very strong but the citrus flavour is getting old now. Blue Dream is nice but one of my all time favourites is Queen Mother (Congo x Reunion) from Original Delicatessen Seeds (Spain)... Amazing stuff, reminded me of NL5x Haze.

Next on my list is Ciskei (south african landrace that takes only 8 weeks) and Expert Haze ( Super Silver Haze x Laos). Still seeking my holy grail for the frankincense aroma and short flowering time!

yes but those lemons can be indica as well (lemon kush). limonene is in pretty much every tropical fruit, so blueberry, strawberry, mango, tangerine, lemon, pineapple etc all will work. fruit grows in the summer and it absorbs all that summery bright energetic happy feeling.

And like invertedisdead was saying. White widow and super lemonhaze are nice and hazy, but it really does not compare to the feeling of a full sativa that give you that real energetic and uplifting feeling without the couchlock feeling. the only thing closest to a real sativa is AMG haze. they sell it to me as 100% sativa, and to me it feels that way. When i look at the seed companies website they say its only 85% sativa. but it feels like 100% to me ,

I feel that the strength of sativas is misunderstood. because when people don't feel that couch lock they think it is a weak strain or something, but it does not work like that.

Back in the seventies you could get Jamaican sativa that was truly amazing. There were some Asian things like Thai stick that were very trippy. Haven't had anything like those for decades. Been meaning to try to find some real, landrace sativa seeds.
