@zor – I think the fluffy pack is the major factor here, so the finer you grind, the more fluffy the pack should be.

So while a tight pack will pretty much never really work in the TM, a fine grind definitely can. :-)

(Still wonder why the medium grind gave you uneveness, but there are so many parameters...)

I find with a finer grind I tend to get over compaction leading to restriction unless I am particularly mindful of a slow draw. Medium grind with a light temp is what I like best
Same here: I only have the medium plate for my BCG and I only tamp it the slightest bit so it's not falling up against the heater screen. I've mostly been temp stepping from 4 to around 7 with a j-hook and the RBT stem so I'm probably at less risk of the dreaded abv ring since I seldom even make it to 8 on the dial and never start there.

... I do want to get a second one at some point, but don't really feel like it's necessary right now aside from my ocd desire for a perfect one...

Good point, I load the stems by using whichever mouthpiece as a straw, I figure if I can load the space and still have suction then the airflow will be sufficient, and so far so good!

Did a coarse grind of an unknown bud which I had in a large cannavault, hooo baby I am soaring. Tasted really good, I'm gonna stick with coarse for a bit to see where this leads. I also tried loading my milaana 3 with unground bud to decent effect, I shall try that with teh TM later. If I remember

Ahhhhhhhh... I am starting to cave... Is there anything I can take to reduce VAS symptoms? Reality doesn't seem to be doing it. I think only avoiding FC might do it, and covid still keeps me mostly at home, so THAT isn't happening... Ahhhhhh...

Yeah I pissed on the rug...... so what
My nameless 15 year old grinder strikes again! Looks like another vape that will benefit from its consistency of what I say is a very medium fluffy grind though some might say it's a light corse. Works fantastically with all my vapes even ones that a fine grind is recommended. I haven't done a lot of experimenting with a fine grind but what I have done left and bad taste in my mouth, or more specifically a sore throat. A experience I never get with my medium and I think it tastes better. So basically my tinymight doesn't give me a excuse to pick up a BCG as it's requirements will met with what I already have...... nice I feel like I'm saving money lol 😂

Vas never goes away and never sleeps lol I just always keep adding to a vas fund, then when something really rings my bell 🔔 that's what the fund is for. I also don't like to stretch beyond my means and would never balance a transaction for longer than a month before paying off fully and even that would be a stretch. I'm slowly trying to cultivate my patience as I grow older but waiting till next month for mine will still be a pain lol

Have the increased interest in Tinymight delayed the shipping time by much? Last I saw they were taking about 4 weeks...

I just received mine, ordered 7/3 received 7/22.

Still learning. It seems like on demand is not as consistent as I would expect. I always vape alone but tried a small load on session a couple of times. Really liked that. I'm loading about .1 gm. My bowl is 3/8" past the cooling unit. Load fairly loose. I am on 7.5 setting now. It seems like a little stir yields another pull. I find that higher temps yield very few hits. Be sure to make note of where the small screen is positioned because you are likely to displace it when cleaning. Be sure to watch the youtube video on tinymight tips.

Not sure why on demand would not be consistent for you @clive_bob it should literally be the same as session, session is just holding the button down for you keeping the heater engaged... I only use session if I am taking a one-hitter rip through water so I don't have to hold the button down, I always turn it off before finishing my inhale to clear the hit as well. Mostly I tstep on demand.

btka bud! Just load enough to fill a basket screen, maybe a little more, and I like to start below level 3 to milk the taste, temp stepping by ~.5 up to 6.5, with only one hit at each setting. Basically the higher the level I start at, the fewer hits I get off that bowl...

it is possible to just leave it at say level 5 and take as many it says you want, depends how long you inhale for too. There is a lot of variability and versatility, you have a lot of experience though, I think you will be fine just playing around with it on your own!

do you wait for the buzz when you start to draw in on demand mode? as far as I understood you hav to wait for buzz when you push button and then inhale (then heater reached temp)

That is indeed crucial – hitting too early can even result in unpleasant combustion events, as this puzzles the temp sensor. Always wait for the buzz. :-)

As for usage scenarious, I agree with @Shit Snacks once more, the TM is superversatile. I load anywhere from .05 to .25g, will usually tempstep between 5 and 7½ nowadays, sometimes I just leave it at 6, slow paced sessions, quick one hitters, it just works totally according to one's needs and preferences.

I only get a haptic buzz the first time I push the button in on-demand mode so I wait about 8-10 secs when I push the button on subsequent hits. I am sure that I am in the on-demand mode because of the flashing light. Can other tinymight owners confirm that for me?
I am just learning how to use this vape. I believe the problem I had mentioned about consistency in on-demand mode was due to my small screen getting pushed back into the cooling unit.

I tried your tempstep method and it does work well. Extends the session and uses herb more efficiently. Thanks!

Yeah, flashing light means on-demand mode, but it's weird you don't get a buzz for your later hits. It should buzz every time you reheat.

I don't quite understand. How, what and why? :-)

It's been 8 days since I emailed the maker concerning my malfunctioning device. I received an auto reply that essentially said that are not responding to emails as quickly as they would like and to please be patient. Perhaps he is on vacation. I hope to hear from him soon.

I gotta say this vape better be amazing for all the trouble going into it haha. I had ordered in the middle of June, and didn’t realize I had paid with paypal (i never use paypal!!). I really wish an email had gone out saying my order was cancelled, because ffs i had emailed him about editting my order which he did! (Added a long stem) only to find out today the order no longer exists. Also, i still havent gotten my refund, does anyone know how long that takes?
