Healthy Rips FURY EDGE

Jill NYC

Portable Hoarder
So is the bowl and all the stems the exact same load size for the Fury2 and Edge vapes?
Yes, the oven is identical size for both F2 and Edge. But the load sizes are going to be different if using a stem that goes into the oven, depending on which stem you get.

All F2 stems fit in the Edge, but the Edge stems require an adapter (included in purchase) that keeps the stem above the oven. The F2 does not have an adapter (the Edge one does not fit on F2) but the POTV One adapter does fit the F2.

Sorry if I just confused things, trying to clarify.

No, Lady, once again you've raised an important point. While the ovens are the same size, in fact the 'dosing capsules' interchange (with the EDGE version probably being superior for many being much more robust), all the stems do not. F2 was designed to use the 'built in MP' so glass stems must fit inside the bowl with the MP removed. While this can be also done with EDGE it means you lose close to half the usable volume since the stem much extend into the oven. Glass stems with EDGE use the adapter, stop short of the screen above the load (which stays 'full volume' therefore) which means that since there is no such adapter for F2 you can't use any of the glass stems for EDGE with it?

Best plan is, I think, to get F2 if you want smallest possible size (with the loss of about 1/3 of the battery capacity of EDGE) if you don't want to use glass stems. But the shortcomings of glass stems in F2 was a major reason for the upgrade with EDGE. We 'all' wanted a better solution to the cobbled together solution in F2.

Now, does that make it confusing enough for everyone? FWIW I use my EDGE with the short curved stem (and adapter) almost exclusively. Carry it that way (with the stem twisted back over the vape) in my pocket. If I tried that with F2 I would have broken lots of stems by now since the lack the rubber seals in the adapter so would snap off at the very very tight fit on the glass inside the bowl (in fact many times the stem gets stuck in F2 and you have to heat it up and fuss some to get it out).

And EDGE is all SS in the oven and heater if that matters to you.

Best solution is to just by both, of course.

Regards to all.

using the glass in the bowl method keeps bowl cleaner , longer ... plus reduction of herbal material is a plus for many people as most over dose their weed and do not even know it... no other materials like silicone in the vapor air pathway too ETC.... the fact that the inserted glass is vulnerable like a cantilever where 85% of the mass sticks out into space is an issue as you mentioned though and could break or put force on the bowl that could cause internal issues down below it . I've never used the supplied snap on mouthpiece with any fury vape so far and it has been all glass pathway from day one .... on maybe my 5th or sixth fury vape by now used as a daily driver plus my girl using hers too as a daily driver... little work horses these vapes are

how does a fury edge compare to a sticky brick or crafty
It doesn’t. At least the Edge and Runt, I haven’t tried a Crafty. I got my sticky brick runt this week after having the Edge a few months. The Edge gives total control over temp and flavor, but takes a while to extract. The Runt can extract that same amount in a few hits. I’ll use the Edge for flavor town, and the Runt for massive hits.

any bubbler will do it. get some big 18mm bubbler, fly on 221C with the WPA adapter
if you don't have a WPA, get one. it's great.

Now if you want a really nice dropdown. His work is beautiful even if it's just in clear glass:

If & when I get a dd, this will be it ; custom configured if need be to to clear the top of my rig. Yum!

I believe he's across the pond in GB.

Drops, I love you.
I don't know if Drops visits this forum these days, but I downloaded the latest file 3a and found an online print service so around £6.
Printed PLA and after using it for a couple of days it works beautifully my only improvement would be to have a debowler within/as the handle if that makes sense.
Thank you again Drops.

How strange, I prefer the native mouthpiece with 4mm glass beads over the Hula, didn't expect that.
I think I need to upgrade the Hula stem to 75mm for a bit more comfort at the high rips.
Nice unit.

Hey Mate, hope is never lost! I was also waiting for the Fury Edge to be available in the EU for so long, and after reading your comment I checked different retailers again and apparently "Vapefully" (located in Poland) sells them again. They state that they don't have them on stock right now but you can pre-order, estimated delivery on 21.08. and it's the Fury Edge V2 🤗

Pre-ordered a Fury Edge by 'Vapefully' with the black bent glass, and it's on the way, faster than I thought, probably landing here on Monday 🤗

My edge is still going strong through another wonderful farming season and daily use. I picked up a bag of organic cotton balls at walgreens. Concentrate is an amazing 15.00 a gram here at rec shops so I had 7 empty glass gram containers. I put the containers and two glass bangers covered in reclaim in my toaster oven face down on aluminum foil and heated them up and then wiped all the leftover residue into a bit of organic cotton ball on the end of my tool. Popped that into the fury and smiled ripped af thinking how far we've come from brown seed filled brick weed out of metal bowls and metal screens and scraping resin. Be well and be kind.

and be here i mean OR lol toasty

It doesn’t wobble at all and if I gently turn the vape upside down, the stem will stay in place.
However, I would say the fit is just shy of being “snug”.
heck ya thank you!

Shit
I had a coffee and made a blunder.
I removed the white gasket from the native mouthpiece to clean the dirty bugger and of course it wont go back in, has anyone been a twat as myself and did they solve it?
Or do I file it in the bin and order a replacement?
Don't be an arse, don't be me.
*edit*
Solved it, trimmed the flange, lubricated and pushed, Oompf.
Nothing to see here... *cough*

I have been enjoying the 75mm stem, looks a bit odd to my eyes but it’s needed for those high temps.
Better than the native with BBs.
Good boy!

Last week I bought a Fury Edge & Im in love.

I really only bought it as a portable cause Ive got the sublimator as my daily driver.
The capsules are an absolute must & make this an amazing vape for out & about.
Exactly what Ive been looking for

Also I havent used my sub since, & now this little piece of glass modded to the Fury seems to rip my head off with just one capsule.

I had one of these longmada 510 rigs lying about no longer being used as I can no longer access concentrates.

The Sublimator has been retired & the Fury is now my daily driver.

I used the Fury accessory attachment that comes standard & (for now till I get the correct silicone O ring) just used a small amt of duct tape to create a seal with a glass 14/18 adapter & the accessory attachment.

*EDIT-Turns out the spare O ring mentioned below is also suitable to use instead of the duct tape (mentioned above) on the outside of the accessory attachment mouthpiece.
Other than a 14/18 adapter the Longmada 510 rig is all you need. (& a stand)

Using the spare O rings came with the longmada rig I placed 2 (but have now discovered one works best) of them over the 14/18 glass adapter & mated the rig to it.

IT IS FREAKING AWESOME!
The Fury creates a lot of vapor & the glass rig makes it oh so smooth. I was really happy with it before adding the glass, but it really takes it up a notch.

A little unstable due to the small footprint, so I quickly knocked up a stand so I dont knock it over & will also soon make a charging dock for it as well.

Being timber its all modular baby, I will just add the charging dock to the stand when I make it.

The glass piece can detach & lay flat with no leaking (once you have the correct water level)

This is easily the best purchase Ive made in ages.

I give this 4.5 fuck yeahs out of 5
