Hello friends, and happy memorial day! I hope you all are celebrating this long weekend with those you care about, and that everyone is healthy!

Slowly coming back into cannabis use, and the first one I reached for yesterday was the canary OG brick! Ground up a little nug of purple punch, tamped down slightly, and went after it. When I got the OG, I swore I would learn without the disk in (I rock the disk in all my other bricks) so it's been slow learning.

The OG is definitely king of dry herb bricks. My Runt is my favorite, no questions, but for dry hits, the OG can't be beat. Not harsh one bit, super flavorful. The runt isn't harsh, imo, it's just the OG is that much smoother!

Currently looking for a vaporizer I can pair with my bong as a DD. Something that could milk my 7/13 toro w/o restricting the function. First my eyes were on the Enano from Epicvapes but than by lucks chance I ran into Stickybrick! During my little procedures I take in my head when shopping for a device. I started thinking, do I want a different Stickybrick? Telling myself "You've seen more function videos of Runts & Juniors w/ the U turn WPA + maybe Dry hits on the go???" I do have a 2020 M cap from Dynavap if I need something for on the go. But maybe a stickybrick is better? Pls help me quit combusting w/o retiring my beautiful bong!

Fellow Stickybrick users would please tell me your experience and what you would recommend? I am currently leaning towards a Runt only due to the fact I've seen more comments from users with a Runt.
Any info is greatly appreciated!

Hello friend, and welcome!

Tons of options when it comes to stick bricks! For use with a bong, the flip brick was designed to be used exclusively with water pieces. It's also the lowest entry price into the brick lineup.

Like you already mentioned, the runt and Jr can both be used with a wpa and your favorite bong. I don't have the Jr, so I can only comment on the runt. I still haven't found a vape that is both as fast and powerful as the runt, and it's my favorite. I'd imagine the runt is more pleasant with dry hits compared to the Jr, based on airpath length. However, if you will want to bring it with you on the go, the Jr is designed for travel.

From experience, it is harder to learn the correct technique if you try and use the wpa before getting your technique down with dry hits.

Finally, you could go with a Maxx. It comes with a whip and adaptor for use with your bong, but it also comes with a mouthpiece for dry use.

Lots of options friend! You won't be disappointed whichever way you go.

I’ve never used the Runt but I think it might be ideal for water usage with the U adaptor. I love my OG for dry hits and I have the hydro add-on, it works great with hydrotubes but you need a whip to use other glass and I’m not a fan of whips. The Runt would allow the use of water in a smaller form and still have a larger chamber and air path than the Junior and Flip Brick.

The Flip Brick is a great option too. I have the older style and don’t have a restrictor disk so it takes the most technique but with the new modifications and disk it should be no problem at all. It’s less versatile than the others but the form factor is really nice.

This beast has been my out and about vape for so long I guess I took it for granted the glass seemed so indestructible. Anywho, I went to go and see if I could find a replacement from sticky brick, and they seem to be all sold out. Anyone have a word on when/if they will be back in stock?

Hello friends!

It's been quiet here, so I hope everyone is happy and healthy.

A little update on the use of the OG. I told myself that, after filling up the honest torch, I would give myself a full torch worth of practice using the OG with no restrictor disk, no cork in the carb, straight out of the box. I charred a bowl or two, but I stuck with it.

After the single flame torch ran out, I wanted to setup the OG how my Runt is; disk in, bent flame intake, but still left the cork out. Grabbed my triple flame torch and went for a hit. Night and day difference. With the triple flame torch and disk in, it's a monster. Because of the longer air path, I can pull super hard on the OG, and with the triple flame, I have to pull super hard in the back half of the hit. A hit this long on the runt would have been more harsh due to the shorter air path and smaller glass.

The subtle difference between the OG and the Runt, for me, is the use of the cork to block the carb. On the runt, I leave the cork in, and when I want to clear the hit, I simply break away the herb brick from the runt body. I do this with dry hits and through water. It's a super convenient way to clear the hit, and check the bowl instantly. With the OG, because the magnets are way stronger, and the metal tube helps to line up the air path, I clear the hit by opening the carb with my finger. It's a subtle difference, but a difference. The runt gets the nod from me for how it handles, but I know there are some who enjoy the size of the OG.

Quick update my brick thoughts:

The runt - This is the standard for me, which I base most other vapes against. Still my all time favorite. How it handles, how it hits, water hits, dry hits, twax bowls, it will do whatever you want. It's almost perfect.

The OG - better for dry herb only hits compared to the runt, which says a lot, because the runt is phenomenal with dry herb hits. Heavier, handles okay, super thick glass mouthpiece which is nice. This piece is a powerhouse.

The Flip - way, way fast. If I feel the need to snap a bowl quickly through water, this thing is lightning fast. I'd recommend this one for those who only go through water, although using it through a Sherlock is possible. It's also a brick that may give a different experience between a left handed user and right handed user, based on the offset of the magnet on the intake brick. I've dedicated my flip to using it with the sticky pad for concentrates since it's so fast.

Hopefully this post helps someone who may be thinking about a brick, or for those who simply like discussing their sticky bricks. Cheers homies!

I have a Maxx, but I don't have an OG. My decision between the two was basically that the Maxx is basically the same experience as the OG, but the Maxx can simply do more if you want it to.

The OG is analogous to a regular pocket knife like the Maxx is analogous to a Swiss Army Knife.

That was me. Thanks, that was also my calculation but I ended up ordering the OG anyway. So now I’ll have the Jr, OG and Max. I’m like whatitdew, I got a problem! There, I said it! LOL! I like the heft of the OG. LOVE the Max with or without hydrotube but I only like using it when I have time to sit for a session for some reason and I do tend to break it down when not in use so when I want to use it, it’s not like I can just pick it up and vape. I like the junior for quick hits but hoping the OG will provide quick hits but Max quality hits which my Jr doesn’t provide. don’t get me wrong, Jr provides a quality set too!

Just got a Jr in the mail today ya know so I can take a SB on the go. So far the vape seems a lot hotter out of the Jr. Wich makes sense because the smaller vape path and less glass.
Butt yeah I'm addicted to the brick, trying to decide if I need OG or Maxx next....

I can't speak on the Maxx, but the OG is phenomenal for dry hits. Cooler than the runt because of the larger glass.

I've always coveted the sticky brick products and when my electric vaporizer failed on me for the third time and required a warranty replacement, I decided to go with something analog and sticky brick was the first thing that came to mind. I went with the OG brick for pure flavor and power and I'll probably get a dynavap for portable use.

I've got a couple Dynas and when out and about I find myself wanting a puff off the old brick. That why I picked up the junior but it's not as discreet as a dyna... So it get brought to places where it's ok to smoke, while the Dyna get brought out to places where it's not.

Hello friend! Most people like the honest torch that is shipped with the sticky brick. I've never had a problem with the ones I've received.

With that being said, I primarily use a triple flame torch with all my bricks, with the restrictor disk in. With the disk in, a larger torch gives you way more control and faster extraction compared to using the single flame turned up.

Common misconception imo.

The problem I had when learning to use my brick, besides starting with the wpa, was I felt like I couldn't build enough consistent heat. Small flame, long flame, drawing slowly, changing the flame angle, burying the flame into the intake, turning the single flame up all the way, I tried it all, couldn't get consistent results. It felt like I was either drawing too much fresh air instead of heated air, or the opposite and I would scorch the load.

My thought, is that the restrictor disk allows heat to build in the intake. Because it does slow down the heat leaving the intake, due to a smaller diameter orifice, it allows the intake to store more heat energy, which you can tap into by controlling your draw speed. You need to be able to control draw speed w/o the disk also, but I believe it's easier to draw more un-heated air without the disk, making consistency more challenging.

I could talk on and on about why I think the restrictor disk with a big triple flame is the way to go, but honestly, it just works for me. I've yet to get clouds as large, or faster from using my bricks without disks in them. All 4 of my bricks I use the same setup; disk in, triple flame lighter, bent flame intake, cork in the carb, bowl tamped down slightly. With the OG, I don't use the cork because I can't break the bowl away like I do with the runt or flip.

More people should try their bricks with the disk in and a wide flame torch. I think they will be surprised by how fast and how much control they really have.
