My Nub stem arrived yesterday, absolutely loving it, such cool vapor, so cool to the point I don't know how much heat I'm getting so have to guess with my draw/pulse technique, I have one question for the more seasoned Milaana pros, I've used it both on my custom Splinter and on my Milaana ll, so far on my splinter I'm getting huge hits, the Milaana has much wispier vapor though, I'm not getting close to the clouds I'm getting with the Splinter or what I'd normally get with the normal Milaana stem, look forward to hearing your responses !

My Mi 2 is not quite as responsive with a Nub as it is with an og rbt Mi 2 stem or my DDave cooling wand. I think it has to do with the rimmed screen that I have to use with the Nub. I can't easily sit a standard, rimless rbt screen into the nub. With ddave's wand and with og rbt stems, I can sit a regular rbt screen into the gong or into the stem and the results are suprerior as far as vapor production and consistency of performance. The nub takes a little more time on the button and a slower draw for similar results, I'd say. Fewer sessions per cell in the end maybe but the coolness and the low profile that the nub provides is worth it.

RastaBuddhaTao will be shutting down in 8 days so get your Mi3s now. Might even find a discount code or two hidden in the crazy LubeTube videos? Kgwoodcraft will be stocked in 5-9 weeks (sorry for the delay) with replacement parts and consumables like cooling mouthpieces screens and adapters to ensure years of product support. Thanks to all for a rippin' good time!

Thanks @RastaBuddhaTao I appreciate your hard work and love your vapes. I was late to the party, my first RBT vape was a splinter z. My next two RBT vapes were also splinter z's! Recently I managed to get both a Mi3 and The Zion!

Such good vapes! Ryan thank you! Be kind to yourself, I'll be looking forward to what is next!

I was holding off for some more 2s to magically appear but can’t beat this deal plus everyone’s done a good job here letting folks know the ins and outs of the 3 so hey I’m finally joining the party :leaf:

Even though the stem fitting is a bit more proprietary with the 19/19, I am definitely enjoying my Mi3 more than my Mi2 at least!

Yeah I‘m pretty sure I won’t be able to use it with an rbt stem. Gotta have some sort of diffusion. I’ll probably pick up some silicone orings for my nub while I find someone to craft me some personalized diffuser stems. Single piece, a bit larger than the nub and a bit smaller than ddave‘s wand.

If you can get a standard or custom 19/19 WPA then that will open a whole lot of options with female connection at least!

Does anyone know if there is any attachment to heat carts With the Mi2 (or firewood6)? Sometimes I like the convenience of a cartridge. I’m trying to avoid buying china crap and all the 510 type cart batteries seem to be from China.

Definitely worth making happen.
Dug through my pile of adapters and this one fits perfect.
Has to clear the screw as well as the oddball depth of the glass.
Very good extraction I like it so far.
👍

I probably won't grab this, but I'm curious. How much of a difference is there between low output and high output? And why do people seem to prefer the Mi2?

What are your likes and dislikes, and how does this compare to a Tetra P80? I think I prefer having a readout and temperature control, as well as flavor and simplicity, but I thought I'd ask.

Ha! No that is not even a little possible. Better to post in AskFC if you want cart batteries, but yeah they're pretty much all Chinese (but the tech is so simple that shouldn't matter? All that really matters is the cart itself)

The difference is battery life and speed, if you read in here, RBT details the difference, no one else has both to compare as far as I know... People who preferred the Mi2 were just more used to it first, though I myself prefer the Mi3 performance actually (but the 2 fits more glass being 19/22 instead of 19/19) the difference is similar to the difference between a Splinter custom and a Splinter V (from China) so they are subtlly different yet equally effective.

Your comparison Q to another company's product should also be in AskFC btw, but yeah they're totally different, being analog versus digital (not to mention the different heaters and more). The Milaana is technically simpler, while both taste great and are plenty powerful, I feel flavors shine better in Mi3 for me, but I am an expert at the manual technique involved, having beta tested the original among others...

I've been in hog heaven switching between the mi3 and tinymight. Last night I exclusively used the milaana, it's the low output version I believe, and nursed on some long pulses of Pineapple Mimosa. Tonight I have some GG#4 and I'm loving the long cooling stem...and have completely forgotten what I was intending to post.

Just a couple questions, ordered the Mi3 to Canada monday, I only received the payment notification, no order fulfillment or any shipping updates. Is that normal? There also doesn't seem to be a way to log into the RBT website to check on account info/orders etc, am I missing something or was it shut down as RBT goes into hibernation?

Also when shopping for accessories for the Mi3, do 18mm male ground glass mouthpieces work with the 3 or do you specifically have to look for 19mm?

Thanks in advance!

18 = 18.8 = 19 btw that just refers to the width of the joint. However Mi3 uses a custom joint length, it is 19/19, 19mm joint length, while standard is 19/22 (older RBT vapes) or 19/26 (will not fit any RBT vape). So yeah the 19/19 size is proprietary unfortunately, so to get a WPA, you will have to buy a standard one and have it cut down to fit... Unless you can find the RBT one.

Looks like vapefiend still has adapters!

I just received my Milaana3, god that was a long wait! I ordered it at the end of May and just got it, almost two months. I'm in Canada and all the stuff I ordered from that period of time took an eternity to reach me, but now it looks like the post office is slowly getting on top of things so I don't think @mailchimper should have to wait as long as I did, a least I hope so. When my order was shipped I got two emails, one from RBT to confirm the order was shipped and another email from Ryan with the tracking number, like the others said I got theses emails at the begining of the following week I ordered.

I'm just sad RBT is closing just when I finally have a Milaana. I feel like I'm late to the party, and somehow the party turned into a funeral. You can bet your ass I will not be late to the resurrection party when it will be announced!

Mi 3 delivered today. Great service from RBT. I think I purchased last Sat. Shipped Mon. arrived Thurs.

One stem in and I'm thrilled to have made the purchase. Looking forward to many years of use from this.

My Mi 2 must have run hot or something because my 3 is not really that much quicker to temp than my 2 from what I can tell. It's the hot version but needs no taming. I'll count by seconds next stem and see how it compares. I gotta say that when you can load a stem and get two hits all within a minute (or less), you've got a most convenient vape.

I have no trouble with the Nub. Fits right in, as does the xl8r stem (which I don't use, just want to see if it fit). My guess is all my RBT stems are intrechangeable with my 1.5, 2 and now my 3 but I won't commit to that til I pull them all out and check.

Thanks for all the great info you've all been providing about the 3. It's been useful. By the time I pruchased I knew I as making the right choice.

I imagine my Mi2 performs similar to a low heat Mi3 and my Mi3 is definitely a high heat. The Mi3 has more draw restriction them the Mi2. Is one better than the other though? Absolutely not, they're both unique. I like the high heat version because you can always modulate the button for less heat while still being able to harness the full power. If you're into multiple devices, and/or you've never used an RBT device before then I would grab an Mi3 before they're gone. The P80 will be a very different experience which is why I have one incoming, variety is the spice of life.
