Yocan UNI Pro Box Mod Fits ALL Oil Cartridges

Shit Snacks

Milaana. Lana. LANA. LANAAAA! (TM2/TP80/BAK/FW9)
@CybrGuy ;)

It is a very nice battery to be sure, I don't use it so much since I prefer a smaller size batt myself (cartridges are my super stealth option and simple grab n go portable, not using them at all lately!)

Mine came today. I was a little afraid it was gonna be bigger than it actually turned out to be. :)

I ordered an extra magnetic adapter for it but I appear to have ordered the wrong one. It is a ring with no magnet. :doh:

Now I have to get a cart to try this baby out.

Oh yeah the ring works work the Yocan Witt and Groote, I guess you'll have to get one of those too!

I wonder if the magnets from the Flick and the Hive are compatible, and the concentrate sleeves might work, too? Asking for someone who has far too many gadgets...

Here is the tall one that comes with the Uni Pro. I have seen something very similar used by other vendors.

The gold one on the right is what I accidentally ordered along with the Uni Pro. I meant to get the other one that is magnetic. The folks at nextdayvapes.com insist that the ring adapter would work, but it wasn't what I was after. Much shorter as you can see, and only 2 cutouts rather than 4...

Yes I said before the rings go for a different type of magnetic connection, I guess where the magnet is in the vape, like the Witt and Groote and Handy... that specific one in the picture actually might look more like the one that goes with the v-mod made by a different company...

I ordered one of Yocan UNI Thick Oil VV Mini Mod yesterday. I received notice of mailing today. I need this. My life is going to change for the better. I'm going to lose weight and get a face-lift. I'll get the body of an athlete, but be forced to give it back. Somehow money will flow into my coffers. I'll finally find "True Love" and live happily ever after. Wish me luck!

I was tempted to save a couple bucks and go for that one but went with the newer version. If you really find "true love" after getting that one let us know. I can always use a backup...

I'm happy with UNI I got: not digital and only 3 heat settings. Being a Gadget Guy, sure, I miss not seeing actual temp, but I tend to be on the weak side of settings, anyway. I can't imagine using the highest setting, but we'll (the Imperial "We") have to see.

Thats the nice thing about the IMO Pro is you can set it lower than most of the other ones.

I really like it. Comfortable to hold, quick to respond and surprisingly reasonable. I don't use it that much and usually only a hit or 2 or 3 at a time but I take it with out of the house when I can't easily do flower. I have it set at 275° for the LLR I have loaded.

I'll probably use it more after the local prices start to come down.

The magnet attachments for the Yocan Hive, Hive II, and Flick work in my UNI, albeit a slightly shorter magnet. Of course, this means the small, one-coil tube for concentrates will work, too. I like the interoperability.

From L to R: one-coil concentrate tube- no magnet; empty oil tube w/magnet: two carts w/short and long magnet

Hey guys. I've been a medical patient in Florida for 2 years now. When I first got my card, they only allowed cartridge vaping. So I went to the dispensary, got my free battery, and spent the last 2 years paying WAY too much. When the pandemic lockdown started, my dosing went up, and I realized I needed to find a cheaper option. I started researching, found FC, and have spend the last couple months browsing. I got a Healthy Rips Fury Edge for flower (it has since become allowed in FL), and also started filling my own CCELL carts with distillate to help keep costs down.

I've been using the dispensary-provided battery, but realized after messing with the temperature settings on the Healthy Rips that I could be adjusting the experience with a more advanced battery as well. So I did some research looking for something basic, small, magnetic, with variable voltage, and settled on the Yocan Uni Pro. I got it from a local shop, and quickly realized when I started using it that I have no idea what voltage I should be using for my home-filled CCELL carts. I've experimented, and researched, and am confused by my results.

I first started at a low voltage of 2.4v with the CCELL reporting 1.6 ohms. The flavor was better than the battery I've been using, but after a few puffs it started tasting like I was getting dry hits. So I upped the voltage, assuming maybe 2.4v wasn't hot enough to warm the distillate to saturate the ceramic between puffs. I'm still trying different voltages out, but don't want to waste too much experimenting, and was hoping someone could help me answer a few questions.

1) What voltage range should I be trying out? The distillate is ~85% THC, so it's pretty viscous. The CCELLS ohm range seems to vary from 1.4-1.7. Which leads me to my next question;

2) Is it normal for my CCELL resistance to jump around like that? It'll change sometimes when I just pull it out and put it back in.

3) Anything else I should be aware of or know about if I'm new to filling my own carts?

Thanks in advance for the great advice I'm sure I'll receive after reading through the forums. I'll be back soon, I also have an EZ Sai coming in the mail tomorrow for other concentrates. Complete and total noob to that one. I've been researching how to use it, but I'm sure I'll have questions.

I guess I’ve settled on around 2.8-3v, and that works well, if anyone else searching for the same answers I was and stumbles upon this.

Hi, about your resistance jump... it's coming from a tiny film of dust/grease or anything else which didn't help for a clean contact, clean well (with a q-tip soaked in iso) the Uni Pro contact and, as well, the magnetic adapter top&bottom and the bottom of your cart, this will help for better readings but you can apply some pressure on your cart for a quick fix, this is might works.

I'm not myself using distillate since I live in a illegal country, here you can load only the concentrates you are making yourself, so I use mostly bho and, sometime, rosin. I usually need to add a few terpenes drops or Liquidizer to get it runny enough for a cart. I'm using it from 2.4v (for tastys hits) to 3.2v for thickers hits... and the pre heating feature for even tastier and smoother hits!

Thanks for the reply. Yep, cleaning both the magnetic adapter and contact point with ISO yielded much more consistent ohm numbers. 3.3v is about as high as I’ll go when I want a lung-buster.

As for ohm number issues, please make sure the adapter firmly connected , and also refer to @PPN 's suggestion too.:clap:

The low voltage set is recommend for newbies. If you want stronger hit, up the voltage.:clap:
