This is my deep cleaning method for my M:

1. Pull everything apart, except the orings on the tip(just leave those on)
2. Set aside the cap and condenser o rings in a safe place.(till reassembly time)
3. Put the rest of the parts in a saucepan and cover with high fat milk, simmer gently for 10 mins.
4. Get a bamboo skewer and scrape as much resin as you can out of your milky dynavap pieces and put all that resin back in the milk.
5. Place your DV pieces in some hot water with detergent.
6. Grab some drinking chocolate powder(or Hershey's chocolate syrup) and add it to your milk in the saucepan, stir well then pour the milk into your favorite mug/cup.
7. Drink that hot chocolate while cleaning those dynavap pieces in the detergent hot water mix using Qtips and cotton wool.
8. Rinse and dry everything, then reassemble your DV.
9. Load your DV with a nice tasting strain.
10. Enjoy that vapor from your clean M, then sit back and wait for that milk to kick in.

For cleaning the BB9 I do up to and including step 7, then i soak and clean it in iso.
I'm careful to make sure I don't vary the temperature from hot to cold too quickly when cleaning the BB9.

Occasionally I will wipe the inside of my caps with a Qtip that has been soaked in iso if they need it.(they seldom do)

wow the resin is Re-useable! I’ll give this a go some time. Thanks for that ! Is the hot choc any good in the end and does it get you high?

Someone asked about cleaning the BB9.

24hr iso soak in the tube it came in followed by a rinse (both ends) in extremely hot water. Sometimes another swish and rinse. My way to remove the honey hiding behind the cooling dimples.

thanks for that!

I tried reclaim hot chocolate on more than one occasion, but what I've come to prefer is to keep a jar of 190 proof grain alcohol (Everclear is the type in local liquor stores), and I clean all my glass and metal vape parts from my equipment that collect that honey oil by soaking them in that jar of alcohol. Once the jar gets to a nice light brown, like a light colored whiskey.

I'll often take a shot of that by mixing a shot into a small glass of some strongly mixed kool-aid and slam that. 2-3 of those, and I'm good for the evening.

Would love to do this. Can't get everclear type alcohol easily here.

2-3 shots of Everclear and I can see why you're good for the evening! :ko:

I'll give this a try. I've got a bottle of EC in the freezer that I bought to make some Green Dragon. For cleaning I've been using iso and dumping it. I tried drying it once but decided it wasn't worth the effort.

I started doing this too. I didn't know if I would keep the jar going or use it to extract those rosin pucks and make a tincture. I still haven't got started on that tincture yet.

Of course, I guess it could end up like a sourdough starter? You use a little, you add a little, and you keep it going.

It takes a while, but once I think it's potent enough I start pulling from the Jar (usually a pint), I start a new one and pull from the first jar till it's gone.

So, it's a treat I only have a new jar of every few months.

Everclear isn't being obtuse about what we use it for either. Accross the top of the newer bottle lables it says "Extract - Infuse - Fortify"

Only evil weed particles. All the more reason not to combust though. All the vape flavors are bound together again. Mind the backwash of course! [Damn, he said it!]

How many you got coming @junny89 ?

got quite a few coming hopefully 25th of May!

haha now that is cool! What a great idea! Only problem with this one is I don’t drink alcohol, however that’s a fantastic idea. Kudos!

Hey y’all! First off, apologies if this has already been discussed — I saw a few posts on Reddit but couldn’t find anything here and wanted to get your opinions as well.

New to the Dynavap family but definitely excited to join! I picked up the 2020M but haven’t used it yet (on a nice, long T-break). What I’m wondering about is the 2020M’s tip and it’s impact on airflow.

In all the Dynavap promotional pics (1st picture below) and reviews I’ve noticed the tip has about 12 fairly distinct flat sides and grooves that are oblong and slightly tapered.

In the Dynavap I received (2nd picture below & not purchased directly from Dynavap), the tip is rounder and the grooves less distinct.

Has anyone else noticed this? How would it impact airflow? Is it worth making the return/an exchange for the 2019M?

Thanks for your thoughts!

Edit: Adding the images, eventually

Welcome to the FC and VC family!
The differences are minuscule - you made a great choice with the M20 - don’t overthink it!
Make sure to read the best of thread that @thejackalsmark posted a few above your post.
Let us know how it goes.

An alternate grain alcohol is Graves.

Available in smaller 375ml containers ( and both 190 and 151 proof ).
