Boundless Tera

It's mounted into the silicone gasket piece. I tried straight into the bowl but had tons of scooby snacks fly into my mouth because at the end of the stem, are 4 little holes.

ok originally i thought you were putting the stem directly into the tera chamber with just the silicon gasket piece but looking more closely at your pic i might change my mind?

it looks like the stem is mounted to the tera glass mouthpiece minus the glass? does it fit with no modification of the glass mouthpiece (other than removing the glass tube?

The Tera is one of my favorite portable vapes. I use it almost exclusively with the WPA because their mouthpiece, as cool as it looks, gets hot and dirty quick.

When I do use it with a mouthpiece I typically am using with the WPA, an 18mm female to female, and a glass stem made for my tubos or MiLs. Just fine for home use, way to precarious for walking around the block. I also have done the upside down rubber piece so you can shove an airizer stem in there.

Enter the phattpiggie phuk you up stem.

I'm supposed to share one of those yellow bags of goodness with @VAPEHUNTER but should I?

This screen came pre-inserted with the stem. He sent a mesh screen with this as well in case I didn't enjoy this one.

To me the look is sophisticated and high end. No one will ever hire me as photographer. I'm not doing phiggies work any justice here.

It's like a black tie vape.

Probably wasn't intentionally designed to do this, but it does.

This phenomenal @phattpiggie stem has beautiful shape and lines. In your hand it is so smooth. It is fully lined, something I prefer in a wood stem. The fitment is very very good. When you use the Boundless WPA adapter it is a super snug fit, so much so the case creaks when you put in. With first Tera the WPA actually cracked the black ring, they replaced the unit. If you are used to way the WPA feels going in the best way I can describe this is a fat mushy feel. The orange O-ring seems to squish better. You still get an awesome seal, it just feels nicer going in.

I like this a lot. Thank you phattpiggie!

Is it worth trying a Boundless Tera? Does it fill a niche in a VAS lineup, where it does a particular job better than other vapes?

Like many of you, I own and have tried many vapes. Now that many of us are stuck at home because of COVID-19 related reasons, I'm thinking of buying a new at-home vape.

I'm looking for a high-performing portable vape, both dry and on water. Size is not a concern.

I own vapes from many of the major commercial makers out there (S&B, Arizer, HR, Dynavap, Stickybrick), and a few custom makers (RBT, Lamart).

Would the Boundless Tera do anything that those other vapes dont do?

Good chance I'll pick one up on 4/20 sales, but was hoping to find some excuses I can tell myself to satisfy VAS.

I have a very stupid question

I want to clean the WPA

Is it okay to clean the entire WPA with 90+% ISO?

I only ask because I remember the black coloring from the topmost part of the WPA rubbing off after readjusting the Tera on the stemless by twisting it on my bong

I could see black marks that rubbed off on the interior glass after twisting it

I know it's made out of metal so I assume it's not a problem, but I just want to make sure

I would highly recommend the Tera
Compared to other vapes, it truly shines through water
It also has an extremely powerful heater so it hits very hard and will lay you out if you're not careful
I have been a completely satisfied owner so far

Hello
I just bought a Boundless TERA V3, the device is great and beautiful but there is a strong unpleasant taste of plastic.
I washed the mouthpieces and I did empty sessions then with peppermint. I arrive at the end of the battery but I still have this taste of plastic.
Do you have any advice to make it disappear?

Thanks for your advice Batyan

Remove the big black silicone seals and bake them in the oven at 250f for an hour to finish 'curing' the items and iso wash the rest for a few minutes before a good rinse with hot water.

As soon as I move outdoor’s I want new VAPING device?
If I use a bong outside it always has the Tera on top, I only use it with the WPA these days, rarely native but sometimes I do like a hot and tasty short glass mouthpiece sesh, I never really liked the plastic mouthpiece... the same reason I don't like the Mighty CU, too much plastic taste and feel for me.

anyone else notice they get medicated pretty quick with tera3
Yep, lots of power in there! My Ghost is the only thing quicker but that does not mate to a bong as easily as the Tera...

I want a new portable and the TERA I am most targeting.
Love water path the most and detest the plastic taste of most offerings?
It could be just be a quirk that I have?

It's the 3d flow stem for airzer solo 2. It goes into everything nicely and very tight when it's on the device.
i just got my 3d flow stem today ... a day earlier than tracking said! the stem does not go through the plastic lid (it is a little to large in diameter) ... did you have to modify yours and if so how did you do it .... it is close to fitting so i don't have to enlarge the whole much.

sorry for the double post but i can't edit the original ...

i originally was trying to push the bottom of the stem into the top of the plate and it was just a little to tight but pushing it through from the bottom it snapped into place!

i was able to mount the 3d flow stem in the tera lid by putting the mouth of the stem through the bottom of the tera plate and then pushing the stem into place from the bottom ...

anyone with a tera ... do this mod ... i can't believe how much cooler the vapor is using this stem ... i'm going to order a second one for backup!

Couldn't resist a EUR 127 offer and bought a BNDLS Tera V3 . I've been making eyes at it for quite a while now, I like the replaceable batteries, I fancied the fact that the S&B pods fit - I love those pods and the paraphernalia around it! - and I heard but not fully believed the fast heat up time. I was looking for something to eventually replace my aged Crafty, for use at home with longer battery life, so naturally, I'd compare it to my Crafty, being fully aware I'm coming from a pretty high tier.

So... it's fine. A wee underwhelming, but as I said, it is sort of an uphill fight here.

Pods fit ok, as I reuse them many times, they get a bit out of shape sometimes and it appears the Tera is less tolerant than the Crafty. Once they're stuck, they're a bit harder to remove than from the Crafty, no big deal though. I find it a bit annoying how the screen isn't snug in the heating chamber, falling out every time. Without it, the pod doesn't fit in perfectly, so I fixed it with a Crafty screen, that works quite well, thanks @this thread!

So the heat up time is like I sort of expected it: incorrect. I would set my Crafty to 180°C and it would heat up a _very_ long time, 2-2,5 Minutes, longer, when with an aged battery. But then I have vapor from the first toke, and thick clouds starting with toke #2. The Tera is at temp in less than a minute but there's nothing with the first, 2nd or 3rd toke. It takes another minute to be at what the Crafty does after pretty much the same time. Not only that. In order to get the shade of brown abv I want and to get the Craftys vapor at 180°C , it needs to be set to >200°. It seems the Tera would measure at the heating element and S&B at the heating chamber. Overall the Crafty heater has a bit more endurance, I get my standard pod vaped out with less tokes and faster.

Battery life is meh comparably. The Crafty gets me 5 pods with one battery, the Tera - also due to the longer sessions - gets me 6-7 with two batteries. The changeable batteries outweigh that by far though.

It's really, really big and heavy, not a plus for on the road. Yup, sorry to say, this thing is not really portable, but it's fine, I was looking for something remotely like a Crafty for domestic use, only with longer battery life, but less expensive than a Mighty, and the Tera is close enough to it. I liked the overall touch and feel, except for the main button, actually, I don't trust it's going to last much longer than warranty ;)

I dig the accessories, the WPA is top notch and super versatile, I can use it with my 19 mm Splinter mouthpieces, big plus!

Initially the smell was really intense and nasty... my wife said it reminded her of her Barbie toys so she kinda liked it ;) A couple of burn offs and washing and scrubbing the mouthpiece with ISO did it, it's pretty neutral now. It's not a gourmet's vaporizer, though, which the Crafty isn't as well, so par here.

So all in all it's a pretty good vape for what I paid, which is about 100 Euros less than for a Crafty Plus, and only cause I',m comparing it to a proven champ in a higher price range is why I'm a little less than enthusiastic here. It's a high-quality product, I just don't see any unique ability. But I must repeat: it's playing a league above its price range!

My Mighty did not survive an Aussie road trip, the Tera did not miss a beat and the ABV will be different as the Crafty is more conduction oriented.
The Tera is also more work, I have to pull a lot longer than the Mighty to get the same amount of vapor, the upside is I like the vapor on my well worn in Tera's than either Mighty I owned. (I still have 1)
My copy of @warren0728 mod, also a good spot to store terp balls(under 6mm),

Hm, when I use my Splinter Z in TC mode at the same temp as my Crafty, at 180°-185°C, the abv pretty much looks the same, and it doesn't get more convection than that, does it? Same goes for my Fury-clone, but for example not for my Focusvape. There doesn't seem to exist a generally accepted standard I guess.

I wasn't even complaining even though it may have sounded that way. The Tera works predictable and consistent, and that's all that counts for me.
