Now that i think about,i dont recall anyone mentioning trying 10. Maybe they did but didnt live to tell..
Anyway i think 10 still can be useful. Not into temp controlled vapes ? You can turn your Tinymight into a unregulated device. Turn off all lights and buzzes, set at 10 and use as any unregulated device. You get the added bonus of low battery protection.

I'd imagine 10 to be useful for concentrates... I saw a few pages back, a user had a concentrate pad, in an rbt stem (I assume for concentrate only hits)
Iv gone up to 10 with flower, and no matter how I tried it, I got some "scorching"

Does one of you know what the numbers actually mean in degrees?

Temperature adjustment
120-240 degrees Celsius / 250 - 460 F

Temperature control
highly accurate regulation, +- 1 degree

Says the website. But what Number is what degree? Any1 knows?

crudo,

Ramahs

Fucking Combustion (mostly) Since February 2017
I temps tep every "session" and I like to finish my bowl with one hit around 10 or even past 10 on the dial. i can feel i'm on the edge of combustion like this, taste is not good, abv are black but i like to be sure there is nothing left in my herbs.

I like your style

it’s not official. But it’s been guesstimated

Another user posted this, I hope it helps:

the TM website lists the temp range from 250-460f. If 1 is 250f and there are 9 more levels than each would equal approx 23 degrees higher. an assumption that it's linear , but... that would let you guess each numbers approx temp. I've been staying between 6-7 and I usually set my digital vapes 365-390 so this seem about right to me.

1. 25o
2. 273
3. 296
4. 319
5. 343
6. 366
7. 390
8. 413
9. 436
10. 460

I did a Tinymight and dynavap test evening with a friend who had never tested the spray ...
he really liked going beyond 10 ... (but he is a fan of the film above, it may have a link !!?).
he coughs a lot but it is the high temperatures he prefers ... the density of the vapor and the taste closer to combustion I think ...
I accompanied him in the test and I had very bad shots at 10 ... but my preference goes below 8 1/2

he slept like a baby afterwards and told me that waking up was difficult ...

here, good vape!

confirm all the words . at 10 vapor is dense and thick, it feels close to burning, but in fact it is just a quick extraction and dark abv from the second hit . my first hit is always at 7 or 7.5 .

this is a wonderful VAPE. I love him more and more .

You are correct...... those are concentrate temps... :borg:

after reading the last page of posts, I feel like I just watched an episode of Sesame Street. :) So I tried the quartz sleeve in place of the aluminium and didn't notice any difference. The TM has performed so well from the first use that I didn't honestly expect any improvement but I had another TM being shipped so I figured I may as well add it to my other accessories and I do like the idea of an all glass pathway. I also noticed that the newer CU has red o-rings instead of clear but the replacements are still clear. I'm not sure if they are different. The instructions are also now printed on small pieces of balsa wood instead of paper and have instructions for turning off the haptic vibrations for the software update.

I go to 10 when I turn the device on at a lower level, forget I turned it on, forget how a dial works :leaf::zzz:, turn it up more and then hit it. It extracts fast but that vapour is no no no. Level 8 is my preferred top end that I leave for short of time sessions.

I picked up some Grab Labs 3" Upline Taster's yesterday that a local shop brought in for me. I like them mostly for the tapered mouthpiece which makes the experience much more enjoyable. I can't say yet if they're harsher/smoother then the stock CU but I like them. I loaded up some Island Pink (that I had vaped the day before in my Hybrid) and the Tinymight was the clear winner for taste, absolutely no comparison. I need some screens though, I had to steal one from my Tera WPA. I finished the night with an unground nug of First Class Funk at level 3.3 and my Tinymight became my boat as I floated on terpene sea :brow:.

Just wait till i snap some photos of with the 14 to 19 mm reducer... I am amazed how well it works with 14mm bowl.. I actually prefer glass on glass mod with my WP ,cause it is easier to detach it. The stock setup cannot be beat on portability though,i doubt there could be anything as effective at that length.

I have said so many good things about TM ... always as sincere as possible
Now I have a problem and I'm not getting the answer I was expecting from Ville ... at least according to some reports here
My TM has a problem with the potentiometer ... it seems that it is no longer the first ... perfectly normal for the first launch
As I reported earlier, it sometimes does not turn on (gives the same feedback as when the dial is at 0) and after Ville's suggestion I tried to press the dial when turning it on and until now it always works...but more and more I have to push harder.
I'm suspicious that it will end up dying in my arms
Yesterday I sent another email to Ville ...

PS:
humm where is my crafty?.....

He mentioned having a large backlog of communicaiton,or maybe he just missed it,wait a bit and try again. Waited like 3-4 days for his last reply, but it was aslo the weekend.
Hmm this is probably a bad advise but why dont you remove the bottom plate, you are pretty handy guy and see if there is anything visible wrong with it . If you have troubles with re-assebly you can PM me. You can watch the VC video of tinymight,at one point he removes the screw and plates fall off :D...

Thanks Abysmal, Ville already told me that it is one of the legs of the potentiometer and even suggested giving it to a friend who knew how to solder (LOL) I know how to solder but it doesn't seem like a good idea to be soldering and using the TM at the same time!
Come on ... it wasn't written on the website that the ten-year warranty was for remote assistance.
I like to get my hands dirty but ...
I have a protruding screw, a bug in session mode and now to turn it on I have to press the button three times and the dial at the same time and pray that it turns on? no

You are in your right .If i were you i would send it for an inhouse repair ,should be a quick one with DHL . Does the 10 year warranty also covers shipping ? Most companies do not IME,but i dont think it is stated in the TM site, but again it is just 9 euro.(at least to my destination)

A manufacturer that lets me correct a problem is a manufacturer I want to work with. If I can save shipping, I'll pull out a soldering iron.
And of course, I shouldn't need to. I would also expect a credit for such efforts.

That's what he charges for postage, the actual postage is most probably quite a bit higher for most destinations. DHL Express is actually very pricey and I'm sure that is not covered by the warranty terms.

would any tinymight owners be willing to share their experiences with using it as a session vape? I get that its strength is primarily on-demand mode, but I'm curious...

sorry for you bro . it's not a very pleasant situation, don't worry , but I'm sure Ville will solve it . and 10 years on the site is also written for a reason.
my TM works perfectly , as many do. and yours will work for sure

It is funny but i have actually encountered DHL having much cheaper prices when they ship from Italy compared to Germany. (Sent you a link a the PM so you can see for yourself, when my gramps orders from that site it usually comes next day which is impressive for 5$.)

:D response from Ville 15 minutes ago:

Hi! Sorry for the delayed replies it's been a busy week! It is clear
that the pot is the reason then for the problems you experienced. And
as that has been basically the only weak spot of the electronics that
has otherwise been very robust I could expect it when something wasn't
working.

We already found this week a solution to the challenge of attaching
the dial there, thanks to Loctite expert helping us out, and now the
process works amazingly well. And thanks to your feedback, it was
just in time to really react and contact our board supplier about this
and ask them to guarantee that the new batch that we are to receive in
2 weeks will have extra carefully soldered potentiometers without
anymore potential for bad joints and they took this issue carefully so
I'm really happy about this.

So I am sorry you had to experience this problem, but this was a good
wake up call to make the necessary requests just in time! This week a
lot of units to be shipped, we had a larger batch in process and just
got it done this afternoon, so unfortunately I wasn't able to ship
your replacement yet today. But now on Friday surely, it'll arrive
probably on Monday and with the mentioned improvements. And as I said
in the meantime while waiting for it you're free to try to fix it
yourself if you want, it's no big deal to me if you'd do more harm
than good if it would give you a chance to use it until you get a
replacement.
Thanks, and sorry for the issues that hopefully start to be soon all
found out and fixed :)
