Big difference a week makes !
Phase 2 : Ordered a M-19 to be able to run both the 18 and 19 back to back for sharing or longer sessions. Didn't want to take the chance that Canada might have gotten some of the poorly machined tips so ordered a Ti tip as well. Can't go wrong.

I went back to my IH last night after a while not using it. It’s convenient but it loses almost all the magic for me. There’s something extraordinarily satisfying about heating with a torch just the way you want it. The IH makes the Dynavap like any other vape, press a button and go. I found it especially dissatisfying and going back to the torch tonight just felt right. I may have to retire my IH because it detracts from my experience.

They're not answering emails. Submit a request through the contact form. You may have to do it more than once. I did. First one was never replied to. I'm "on the replacement list" but still don't know when I'll have a functioning device. It's very frustrating.

I messaged them today, and received a reply from them today regarding a wrong order, and that they're going to send me a postal sticker so I can return it. So they are replying to emails, but only the ones that aren't to do with faulty tips.

I love my IH...but I often find myself going back to the single-flame torch when I want to chill. I can just get bigger-thicker hits that way with the slower heat-soak.

Don't get me wrong. I will still buy IH's in the future, because they have their place when I want simple and quick...and they work fucking amazingly, but I'll never give up the torch because the torch is still best when I want a weekend-type of hit, vs a weekday type of hit.

Unless the official IH has something magical about it, I will not be buying any more heaters. I admire the ingenuity of people who thought to use an induction heater and the people who build them, and clearly there’s a big demand for them as an accessory. For me, there’s no benefit to them. The convenience is actually part of what turns me off from the heaters. I like having that manual process of heating with a torch.

Just got a reply from Cream City Vapes about my defective 2019 M tip. They have put in a request for a replacement with Dynavap. I sent photos with my email which they said was helpful (in case anyone else is going through a third party retailer FYI).

It's seems you never been in a windy cold place where the torch isn't efficient enough.

I don’t take my Dynavap hiking or camping. It may be small but I don’t find it to be the most convenient portable. Take it to a friend’s house? Sure. I’ll take something like a Fury 2 with dosing capsules if I’m out for the day and know I want to vape.

Electrics portables devices are not enough for me in terme of battery capacity. I Always have a Dynavap on me.

Fuck, I just commented on how I had no problems about the titanium CCD coming out or loose. Well I JUST now spitballed my new CCD into a bush never to be seen again. :(

I guess I'll be more careful next time :( If you have a titanium tip, Don't Shoot your ABV around like it's a blowgun:lol:

Now I havta roll a joint like an asshole and place another dynavap order...

I, on the other hand, while not minding heating with a torch lighter feel that the IH has changed the game for me personally and I have found myself using my VC's much more frequently.

Lucid IH, DDave wand, new gen 7 (I think) Ti tip, on FC-188

EDIT: Scheisse, I loaded the wrong pic of the rig originally, fixed now.

To be clear, I’m not denigrating anyone who likes or prefers an IH. I’m just speaking for my own preferences. One of the great things about Dynavap is how customizable the experience is, from the materials in the device to the size of the bowl to the heat source and technique. It’s probably the most versatile vaporizer on the market today.

Have you tried just ripping off a piece and sticking it in the tip? If it’s larger than the condenser you should be able to use it fine with no screen until your order comes in. You can put a little degummed hemp fiber or cotton in the bottom of the tip or top of the condenser if you’re worried about getting anything in your mouth, but it shouldn’t be necessary with a solid chunk of flower.
