Ditanium vaporizer

@Manity You had the chance at the cheaper price unit offered by a pretty big distributor and return the unit on route.
Great that you originally bought it direct from the builder, he gets all the dough. Holding him hostage for the difference in price that the big distributor happened to offer sounds uncool to me.
Don't get me wrong, as a consumer, I feel your pain. And I'm no fan of the builder of the Ditanium, don't know him, just the product. His lack of activity here is a head scratcher for me.
But you did have the chance to try and get the cheaper price, after Adam told you the sale was 'not authorized'.
Hope you enjoy the Flower Pot. :peace:

@Vaporooni that piece doesn't have the screen reservoir for flower.

Hostage? No, this is called business. Yes I could have bought another one at the cheaper price and returned it but being a business owner myself this would have been an easy fix and adjustment would be made. Even at the top of their 420 banner it states "See it cheaper? Email us to price match any offer."

The old saying goes it can take a lifetime to build a customer relationship but only a moment to destroy it...

Are you saying the back of the titanium handset is as 14mm male? I'm going to check now. .. ..

*Edit* ok, it is a 14mm male, but it's very deep, so it will only work with some pieces, and I can't find the SP version at the moment. But if memory serves, it will be deep enough, and I'm happily on my way!

I have a 14mm sipper that should pair nicely. With a 14>18mm adapter, I'm thinking the Swiss tree will be perfect!

Much love @Vaporooni

As a business owner yourself, I'm surprised you're acting in such a way towards another business owner. You know that what you're trying to do is screwing the owner over, and you don't care as long as you get the best deal possible. That's not being a good customer, imho of course.

It's just as important to be a good customer, as it is to give good customer service. The respectful treatment should go both ways.

That's comical. What's even more comical is a large retailer having a firesale that isn't authorized by the manufacturer. That says something right there behind the scenes!

I guess when I bought the unit I had the security of the manufacturer saying "See it cheaper? Email us to price match any offer. " ... Guess it should have read "See it cheaper? Email us to price match any authorized offer."

Lucky for me return policy exists and as a customer in a free open market can return said new product and cut my ties. It's really that simple. Just stating my interaction with Adam. I'll see tomorrow if a resolution can be made. If not return to sender it is.

And you have every right to be that way if you wish, I guess. You do you, boo.

Now, lets get back to talking about this cool vape!

Yes, 14mm exactly. Have fun with the Ditanium, It produces some powerful vapes at 2 O'Clock! Although 12 O'Clock is the sweet spot. You will need a light on to see the vapor, Because the vapes are so smooth.

Light on to see the vape? I can nearly hot box my bathroom with a cloud. :D

Edit cause I'm a dumb ass.
So the SP adaptor goes on the TI hand piece. Nice. Thanks for that little tid bit.
That should extend the wp adaptor far enough past the Ditanium wood to invert and use it with my FC-188 bubbler. @MonkeyTime, when you find your SP piece, or @Vaporooni , could I bother you for a measurement from center of wp stem, to the edge of Ditanium wood. Gonna order that piece if the gap is big enough, already have the Ti hand set. Thanks.

Thank you so much guys!! I will order these and go forth. I am still in love with the Ditanium - it's a beast and does a great job medicating me. This looks like the perfect set up.

For mine 1:00-1:30 is for flower. Nice flavor, nice large clouds.
Dabs taste burnt at this setting. Dabs, on mine, need to be done at 12:00 and are delicious.

I'll have time to dig thru my tackle boxes of glass pieces tonight and will verify, measure and post. Maybe with some pics.

I'm with you, this can be a fog machine, no lighting needed to see anything.

Thanks man, just checked it out.
Looks like it should work with the proper amount of risers for the Ditanium, but it depends where the glass adaptor piece hits bottom on the Ti piece.
I will have to work on something sturdier for the risers other than the Whitmans chocolate Easter Bunny boxes that happened to be on hand. :D

You might need a wooden close pen to take the Ditanium Hand piece off, It will get hot the longer you keep it on there. Although it will probably last the whole session as it catches any dabs that pass through it.

Not sure what you mean by that, can you elaborate? That'd be one big load to get down there!

There's really a lot of room there. I started to heat it up before I measured, and I still haven't actually taken a hit, so it's all theoretical at this point, but......

It was 4-5/8" from the center of the heating element to the center of the gong 10mm tip. Other than two issues, the only things I think this set up are missing is a silicone band to hold the glass 90 to the Titanium bowl set. I only had that on there for a minute while measuring and it got pretty warm. The second is some sort of wedge under the connection at the corner of the wood unit to take strain off the vertical arm. With that much leverage it won't take much even trying to be careful!

The two issues are solvable... the 90 SP fitting's 18mm section is not round, so it doesn't hold much of a seal. That can be exchanged or replaced. The other is that darn 10mm tip on the fitting. It makes it long enough that most of my HT style glass won't seal. That can also be remedied easy enough once I have a piece worth cutting!

Here I was trying to make up a part I already had and never realized would work! I never even took it apart once I had the glass wand on the titanium, I liked it. But this setup will work great once I have it all set up proper.

SP 90 glass pieces are a tighter fit. They have glass pieces that take care of all the guess work.

I was talking about the "as it catches any dabs that pass through it." part. While some reclaim will work thru, you shouldn't have a dab large enough to travel that far?
Yes that is good advise, A little micro dab at a time. No need to waist. A little goes along way. You can always do another one after it cools off from the burn off. Really nice and simple design this Ditanium has! Nothing hidden.

Once the Ditanium heats up fully the metal expands, Which makes the glass fit tighter. Also lift and twist the hand piece until you feel the piece grip.

Came a day early! Doing the burn off now.

A probably stupid question:

When I have the carb cap assembled one way, it doesn’t fit over the midsection of the ditanium, just sits one top.

When I assemble it the other way, it fits over the whole thing but sits directly on the quartz post that sticks up out of the quartz bowl, which seems less that ideal.

Which is correct? Neither? How do I get the carb cap to sit nicely on the titanium bowl if the tip of the quartz bowl sticks up so far above the titanium?
