I'm having a very bad day, and things just got a whole lot worse.

First, when I went to clean my Woody Omi today, the one end was stuck, and when I pulled it out it cut me pretty good on my thumb it was bleeding for over an hour. Then when I went to put it back together... the wood body split in half!

This really friggin sucks.

I guess I'm going back to my PAX 2 now.

I have one of these Funk Fighter bags and it works great. All their bags are carbon lined to absorb smells.
For me, it is the second layer of protection as JyaRZ are inside it. Not a "box" as you indicated but should work.

Very sorry for your loss. Certainly let George know. If you replace your body, I suggest you have a look at the VonG body. It is thicker by double and therefore much tougher.

There are a few tricks that may make assembly and disassembly easier and more gentle to the midsection.

ORINGS:
- Orings with help you slide your mp or Ti tip into the midsection if you lubricate them first. The best lube is a bit of your own spit.

HEAT:
- when easing the Ti tip from the midsection gently twist it first. If you are met with resistance, heat up your tip, it may be stuck together with resin and heat will loosen it grip.

TWIST n GRIP:
- when twisting the tip from the midsection, remove the cap from the tip and grasp each piece; the tip and the midsection, as close to the end as possible. The fingers and thumb of each hand should be touching. Gently grasp, twist and gradually increase pressure. Don't force the tip off by grasping the midsection by its middle or by pulling or bending the tip away.

That's all that comes to me right now. Anyone have tips for dis/assembly?

My condolences for your experience today.

When attempting to separate items with close tolerance, if you use a little heat, this causes thermal expansion of both bodies, thus making the job a little easier. Less Armstrong needed.

Modular parts is also another strength in DynaVap's design strategy. You can replace accidental mishaps
without too much pain.

Personally I use a tiny amount of Ed's bomb ass butter to lube up my wood pieces, it doesn't seem to have any measurable effect on the o-rings (no swelling or anything). Also I use a PFPE (MCG111 Christo-Lube) lube for Ti mouthpiece threading/Damascus parts to prevent galling/oxidation however YMMV, use at your own risk blahblahblah.

Its a really good idea and a necessity for basic, valuable information to inform people of all the technical ins and outs of the various models.

But I think it will need some thought and structuring somehow as I could see it being expanded, and if it stretches too far it may defeat the point a little.

And, I think it should be called something like "Save Squiby repeating herself over and over thread", or something like that, or maybe just "Best of Squiby Vapcap information thread."

And then a separate best of thread for the rest of us.

I just saw your comments @Baron23 on load size above. I know you use your OG very often, which I have only used briefly once, but noted for certain that the bowl has a smaller capacity than the Ti tips.

I can just get 0.1 into the Omnivap, but no way into the OG bowl for sure.

So, in the name of science I just weighed a full chamber of herb in the Ti Woody. I have a milligram precision scale with calibration weights and so I'm pretty sure its good to 10's of milligrams. I sucked the load up very full and to the point that it was actually rounded out beyond the end of the Ti tip. This is fine ground herb dried sufficiently to be vape ready.

I got .7 grams pretty much on the nose and its absolutely all I can get in there without tamping (and I definitely don't tamp VC's...draw resistance is high enough, yeah?).

I still can't figure out how to get .1 in there unless it was still carrying a good bit of water weight.

Thanks for that insight and feedback. Im sure I got at least 0.1 into my Omnivap when I did weigh it. I probably did have to press it in a little,,but I tried not to compact the load, more like trying to put the feathers back in a divet, just tucking them in until they stay put. And on that occasion the load vaped very well, no issues with being too compavt, huge clouds.

But there are other variables involved like you say with herb moisture and size for weight. My stuff is leafy outdoor shit UK summer autos, and I never got it dry enough even still, always high humidity.

That said, I remember @Vapor Eyes reporting how he was routinely packing
0.11 grams into his Omnivap, and Im sure he has top high grade stuff.

The Cbd flowers are OK. Only had a bowl via woody and via vapcap s.
It's leafy and seedy. But dried nice. I broke nugs off and stuffed them in the vaps. Nice cloud production no coughing. Taste is pleasant. I've had some czechoslovakian Cbd hemp flowers off eBay recently and they kinda taste hashy. Which is OK. But these seem better.
Felt relaxed for an hour or so after hitting both after each other.
Give them a shot if your looking for cheap Cbd and maybe something to blend into a stronger strain. I haven't done this yet but maybe grind some star dawg and Cbd flower and mix and see what happens.

The flowers both look and smell like shwag weed I've bought numerous times in Sri Lanka. Think long stems, quite leafy, immature seeds in the calyx. Quite a nice aroma to them, basically like low grade herb/ hemp.

I wanted to make sure that I wasn't inadvertently getting some residual thc left in my vape, so instead of using my Vapcaps, I loaded up a relatively clean vaponic. I didn't grind because My grinder would contaminate the flowers with thc, so just pulled some flower apart with my fingers and loaded it.

I was pleasantly surprised by both the flavour and vapour production. I wasn't really expecting much clouds, but it actually produced some really nice vapour- perhaps not as dense as regular herb, but still satisfactory. As for effects, I definitely noticed a 'chilled out' feeling from the flowers... definitely not a thc high, but more of a relaxing, chilled out mellow feeling. I can't however rule out that there may have been a little thc left in my vape... will have to try these flowers in a fully cleaned omni just to make sure.

So all in all, I'm actually very pleased with these flowers. For a while now I have wished that I could get hold of a low thc strain because I thoroughly enjoy the act of vaping (especially with my Omnivap), and want to be able to vape throughout the day just for the taste and experience, but I don't want to be high 24/7 (or even 7 days a week anymore). So I'm looking forward to experimenting with these flowers and adding them to high thc strains to see what I can come up with.

And just to make sure that this post isn't completely off topic, here's a shot I got the other day of the carbon fibre grain on my Omnivap:

From looking at some other people's carbon bodies, it seems that some have the grain running vertical along the body, and some (like mine) have the grain running a spiral along the body.

I also ordered a new ti tip a few days ago, which I'm looking forward to comparing to my 1st and 2nd gen tips.

Some good reports of these Cbd flowers I plan to have another go with them today and see what I can get from them.

Can I ask what grinders you cappers use? I've been using buds for ease and because I can lol with the vapcap. But what grinders (this might sound weird) break the bud up nice but don't strip the bud of its actives too much. I've got a few grinders 1 and 2 stage so it catches the kief but are there grinders that at better than others at keeping it all together. It's 6am here so this might not make sense lol

I am struggling to understand how people can't work out selecting a configuration on the VapCap website?

• Decide what VapCap you want
• Select your wood type
• Choose a crown option if required
• Choose a mouthpiece option
• Order your chosen device

It even updates the image to reflect your choice of configuration so you can see what you are ordering. You just need to use the drop down selections in descending order.

Well the log went from being plugged in 24/7 to sitting in my drawer. The new vapcap is incredible. Now the first hit is just as thick as the second hit, and rarely is there a third. Before the first hit was always just flavor, and the second and 3rd hit had all the vapor.

The new tips make this thing a true one hitter. I will post a full review with pictures when I have more time.

Another major difference is I always respect the click now, and I get very thick vapor. Before with my 1st gen vapcap I'd experiment with going beyond the click, but now that is not necessary.

I am now quite psyched to get my new gen Ti tip as that is exactly how things go for me but I sometimes get a really nice 4th cycle through the bong.

They are UK/USA based depends what stock is available as to where it will come from, my last order from them came mostly from the UK but some parchment paper was shipped from the states value was around £4 but Royal Mail wanted £11 something for it so I got a refund and didn't collect it as then my £4 paper would have cost over £15 , my account hadn't been used for over a year so I lost all my points and had to make a new account but it did mean I could use the £10 off first order but had trouble getting the code I rang them and got it but they said it was only valid on orders over £50.

I would give them a ring to check if that's still the case with the code and also to see which warehouse they will ship what you want from.

Everyonedoesit has both a US and UK company. Just check the address bar for .com or .uk and see which one you looked at, if its US site, look on UK site.

Areyou sure about this,,and are you referring to the UK site? I have ordered there before and never had a credit card. Just debit card. I just looked on the site and and they have the card logos at the bottom,,one saying "visa", which I presume is debit card.

Anyway I cant belive this or any popular, reputable website would be credit card only. Im not sure I have ever come across a site that only accepts credit cards, and I order online as a way of life (supplements etc).

What is the difference between the Ti VonG S and the Ti VonG? There's a $5 difference between them when both are configured with a mouthpiece and 14mm bodies so is that because there's more wood on the Ti VonG S or are there other differences? Thanks!
