Hey, was wondering if anyone has read this study, or know how correct it could be.

It's a study by MAPS / CaNORML on the Canibinoid / Tar ratio of smoke put out by different devices, such as:

Unfiltered joint

Glass pipe

Water Bong

Vaporizer

Water filtered vaporizer

http://www.maps.org/mmj/vaporizer.html

You'll have to scroll down 4/5th of the page to get to the beginning of the study, where it says: Focus: Cannabinoid/Tar Ratio

The conclusion? Water filters out more THC than it does Tar - meaning you have to burn through more Cannabis to get the same effect as someone not using water filtration. Thus making it counter-productive.

There was also a couple other confusing parts, such as them stating that the THC transfer rate (transferring THC from the plant, to your body) was almost 25% less through a Vaporizer than through the Unfiltered Joint.

I'm not sure how true this study is, I mean, what I'm trying to say is, I still get just as high wheather I'm using the Volcano or a bubbler. Comments/Opinions?

That study has been discussed here before. Just yesterday someone made a thread asking essentially the same question.

Please repost this in that thread ( http://www.fuckcombustion.com/viewtopic.php?id=495 ) and I'll archive this. I know it's difficult to keep up with what's already been posted, so hopefully you'll understand the reasoning. :)
