So I've had the VaporWarez vaporcannon 3g for about a year and a half and have always been satisfied with it until after seeing the Extreme. Soooo after doing alot of reading up on the extreme I decided it was time to upgrade :D clearly the extreme surpasses the vapor cannon in features. My only compaint though is it doesn't seem like it gets hot enough at all. It's seems like the bud is just cooking basically. On the vapor cannon I only crank it up to about 1 o'clock (a little more than half) and it seems like I get more in one hit that I do in a whole bag and the whip barely produces anything. I read most of that 51 page thread and I notice the v3 goes up 250c. Mine tops out at 230c. I haven't seen anyone else talking about theirs only going that high. So I wonder if that could be my issue but still 230c is pretty hot. I tried the elbow thing with the same results. Don't get me wrong I still love this thing and I still gets the job done but I would love for it to be as efficient and produce as thick of hits. Any advice?

Drop Arizer an email. I don't get the 230 thing at all. You may have a defective unit, and I would determine that before I spent a lot of time trying to get it to work right.

Another possibility is that you're just vaping high temp with the Vaporcannon. How dark is your vaped herb? Is the vapor harsh?

On the vapor cannon I only crank it up to about 1 o'clock
You shouldn't go by dial settings. With the heater cover I'm now using on my SSV, 1 o'clock is in the high temp range.

Don't compare bags to whip either. There's more air per hit in bagged vapor. If you want to improve your E hits with the whip, pack the elbow screen instead of the bowl.

You're not really vaping at 230 C. That's around the combustion point. It's just the number on display. Arizer has been screwing people up on true vaping temps from day one.

If I may interject, what other criteria would we use? The VaporCannon's are all setup the same.... 11-1o'clock is my vape zone. max does raise a good point, how dark is your vaped herb? If it's near black/dark dark brown you are definitely on the high end of vaping temps.

VapeIT, it may go without saying, but how dry is the material? I don't own an Extreme, but I would think it is capable of delivering the same size hits via the wand.

Pre-heating the material in the elbow bowl also helps warm up the herb for larger hits.

I hope more can weigh in....

On the vapor cannon 12-1 o'clock are the prime settings. It takes about 8-10 big hits to make the
Material start losing it's green and I usuaully take it to a lght brown to a dark brown depeneding on if it's just me or a group. I never take it to black or let burn.
I've tried those elbow hits everyone keeps mentioning with pretty much no result which bums me out. I think it may just be defective because like I said my temp only tops out at 230c which like I said I've never heard of.
As the for material I use it's all medical stuff so it's pretty sticky but after 2 or 3 pulls it's dried out anyways and I've never had a problem putting kind of bud in the vaporcannon. I will email arizer tonight and see if I have some weird new model or what haha

Also another weird thing I noticed is that on my remote the highest preset is 230 and when I push it it only goes to 210 or so then I have manually turn the heat up.. Kinda weird

And the Extreme

I dont always run them through the bongs but when I do its amazing.

I finally got the elbow thing to work pretty good but not thick milky bags and the whip with the fan is interesting. It still definitely gets the job done though. I will be emailing Arizer tonight to see why it only goes up to 230c.

It would be great if VaporWarez QC was good enough to assure that every unit was calibrated exactly the same (and it may be), but like you said, the color of your vaped herb is a better indicator of temp.

Wouldn't that depend on how much was loaded? And there is no universal measurement for "big hits". It is pretty clear though that you're not getting high temp vapor.

I generally only load .1-.2 in there and get that many draws. And my heat varies by how much I put in, less material= more heat slower draws and visa versa.
I think the vapor cannon is calibrated pretty well but then again it's just a knob that goes up and down and doesn't read out the temp, you just kinda have find the sweet spot.
