Discontinued VapeXhale Cloud EVO

Just a quick FYI for UK peeps
@VapeFiend.com say they have no firm date, but expect VapeXhale stock to arrive in 2-3 weeks.

Good to know, thanks for the info.
I should have waited for this instead of ordering from the dutch vendor what i did.
After having sent my faulty Evo in the 7th day now, they now told me that they haven't even checked the Evo yet.

Ask for a refund and order from VF if you can. I have to send and unit to them once and in 48 hours since they got it it was already sent to me.

Is there any way to break an Evo (or have the Evo "degrade) besides the bamboo joint? I thought my joint was broken at the top, and it's definitely messed up--it twists around freely in the upper housing. However, I have blown through it and no air will come out if I have the other end plugged with my thumb. This leads me to believe that the bamboo airway isn't cracked. But my Evo definitely isn't performing right. It barely toasts AVB effectively at 12 after a pre-heat and unevenly toasts it at max temp. When I got it this was the best vape I've ever had.

Is there a base warranty service cost? I was quoted 88 for the bamboo repair but I don't want to buy the repair, and then still have a broken vape.

If the bamboo is spinning I'd assume the heater won't be connecting properly. You won't know till you send it in, but you're going to want it working & the longer you leave it the longer it takes so get onto it.
I didn't think loose bamboo was a problem with the Evo it seems pretty solid, I'm still careful not to twist the hydratube when I'm taking it off.
I don't know if they'll charge you, I paid postage one way.

I'll call them tomorrow. I'm happy to pay for the warranty service, but given recent stock issues, etc., I'm going to wait to tie up my funds until I'm sure it's ready to be serviced quickly. That OG Cloud on Classifieds has me dreaming..

So I heard back from VXH. At first they tried giving me some rundown about how the tubes where basically free, as though that should make getting a shoddy quality broken tube acceptable. Then they offered me 50$ refund and a discount code so I could get a new tube when they come back in stock (okay, that sounds fine). So I emailed back asking how much the discount code would be since I felt like I was about to be told to buy a new tube (50$ back and 10% off coupon or something would still have me paying out of pocket for the honor of receiving a broken tube). So they responded by saying

"Nevermind, forget about. Was trying to offer a reasonable solution."

So because I asked how much the discount code would be, they took their entire offer off the table in a very rude way and ended the email by telling me I'll just have to wait in line and "it'll be a while".

Worst customer support I've had in a long time. Terrible from the moment I ordered, only progressively getting worse and worse. This is just the icing on the cake. Thanks VXH. Wish I had ordered through a retailer that has their shit together.

Side note: I just noticed my Evo has a different style nob than all of the photos I've seen, Looks like the old style nobs. musta ran out.

That is troubling and out of the norm from the experiences here. Sorry about your experience & I know it probably doesn't mean much since you feel you got shafted but I'm sure they'll get you taken care of.

Something interesting, that you mention that they mention the tubes are "free" because I am like 90% sure I read posts that say that they make most of their $ on the glass. I was doing some perusing here the other day because of "hydrotube patents" and I'm pretty sure I read that.

I can say that they were nothing but super friendly and helpful when I had my problem and upgraded me with two free quartz nails so in general I was super pleased with the service. (Had problem with glass nails)

I hadn't used my EVO in a week, used it last night, got destroyed :) oh how I missed it.

Oh yea, no I've heard about apparently good CS with them from other users. Maybe I keep running into an employee who doesn't care.....

Pretty close to boxing it all up and sending it back. Its really not worth so much hassle and I've never had a CSrep tell me to "forget about it" before, like I was supposed to accept his offer without knowing the terms. It makes it harder with the fact they never give me a number I can call to talk to them despite asking and it takes a minimum of a full day to hear back from them, even when responding immediately, maybe they are understaffed and overworked....

Its all just left a bad taste in my mouth, despite the Evo's amazing flavor.

And @HellsWindStaff, I ordered the Holiday bundle, which was 350$. So they where stating since its normally 450$, because I got the 350$ sale, the tube was "free" implying it should be fine its of cheaper, lesser quality while only offering me a discount on the purchase of a new HT.(apparently $50 and a unknown discount amount since they said to forget about it when I asked). But I see how they could make the most off their glass if they are selling 30-50$ Chinese crap glass off for "American medical-grade scientific glass" while charging 150-200$. I couldn't imagine the actual base unit cost much to make either.

Send a message to @stonemonkey55

Sometime you have to go right to the top. I'm sure he would be interested in how his company is represented.

Please be careful with this sort of remark. Unless you can present proof that this is true, you'd be best off keeping such suspicions to yourself.

feel like i am really rolling now and well set up. Got the evo which inverts onto a d020-d with an ebay claisen with clearing stopper on one post. Really a nice setup, very affordable and works well. Thanks to FC i am doing periodic simple green soaks and using cranberry extract for cleaning along with distilled water. That skunky smell that comes with usage is under control nicely! One small tip someone on here suggested was to use room temperature water. I was using freezing cold water and I think I was unknowingly losing potency as vapor would cling to the glass as well as making the glass more difficult to clean

That's my best impression of the piece from visual inspection and past history with tons of glass. It looks very bad and very cheap. Not attempting to slander or be overly negative. I wish I could capture the flaws of the HT in better quality than the crap cellphone pics I took. I'm not making the claim its actually Chinese glass. More stating that's the impression, feel and look it has. I certainly would never pay 200$ for a tube that looks like the one I got, (it being broken aside, going only off quality). It looks, feels and seems like a rushed, budget glass piece. Maybe I'll break out the D800E and try and shoot some video of it to capture its defects better. Best I can figure is after being inundated with orders, they (supplier, not maliciously I'm sure) rushed a lower quality cheaper batch to fill the orders. I hope that isn't true (I'm sure it isn't) and I did just get a bad one but I'm not sure. That's why I'm posting here, to see what the community thinks. (I appreciate the replies from everyone)

Again, as I said, I never made actual claims that they are using bad glass, only stating the one I gained was very cheap and poorly made while speculating at the production cost of a glass piece like the one I received So not really a suspicion, more an observation of the product they gave me. the lower portion of the HT is very clear and looks fine. The upper chamber portion is full of bubbles, pits, runs, scuffs, and is very hazy/cloudy even after cleaned (not talking about small issue, its over the entire upper chamber area and mouth piece). I'm sure its a fluke, but it seems so obvious that it should have been caught in QC.

As I haven't seen many people post here who have received holiday bundles, I'm curious to find others who have to see if they also received a lower quality than normal HT to find out if the issue was systemic or just my single HT. I'm sure its just a fluke, I just wish they would communicate better with me to make me feel assured it will be taken care of or remedied or offer a solution (that they don't say "Forget it" to the next day). And I do love the base unit. It functions great. Hits amazing. heats quick. looks nice and all my friends loved it as well, nothing bad to say there. Just bummed about the HT & service.

Update: VXH got back to me and I am pleased that they have offered a solution with clear detail. They will be sending me a replacement tube, at no charge, when they get in stock. I know I'll have to wait a while to get a HT I can use, But I am enjoying the Evo in the meantime. I'll followup when I eventually receive a new HT. Thanks everyone for assistance and replies & truly nothing against VXH base product. I'm sure its been very busy this time of year & as their company expands, hopefully so will their customer service & supply chain to match their amazing vape.

Next time there is a $350 deal with a HT I am all over one of these! I can't wait for the next big sale! Until then my Enail, UD and Haze will get me by fine.
Is that usually just for Christmas or have they run other big sales in the past?

Hey guys so I ordered my Evo a few days ago (Still hasn't shipped:doh: lol) I have a grinder that is so-so , got it at a near by convenience store, was thinking about getting a MFB grinder because I've read that it grinds it up really fine. Is that the type of grinder I should use with the Evo?

Try warm/hot water too. It's pretty weird feeling if you haven't' done it, but I find it gets me pretty wrecked. Make sure your glass is clean or else it will get really gross if you fill it with hot water lol.

MFLB is too fine for me personally, but I'm sure it would work fine with the EVO, just for my preference I don't like my stuff quite that powdery.

I've been using my Space Case Super Shredder (which grinds more to a fluff rather than a powder) and its worked perfectly fine.

I've also tried the typical 2 piece plastic grinder (one that came with my Crafty) which grinds much finer and it also performed fine.

I think as long as the herbs are broke down good enough to move about the ELB, the evo seems to really get herbs moving with its turbulent air which is most likely why it seemed to vape the more hand plucked fluff from my super Shredder just as well as the lighter fluff from my crafty grinder.

the ability to pass air over all the flower is key. being packed tight is worse for hit quality than how fine of a grind is done on the herb. idk. imo.

I have a Santa Cruz Shredder that works really well for the Evo. What I find easiest for me personally is to grind my bud upside down (I advise you remove the keif catch if you do this!) which gives me a much finer grind. Then I load a bowl, take a few hits, and once the material is a little dryer from the heat I sort of poke at it with a skewer, which breaks it up even finer and allows for a few extra hits. Works for me, anyway :).

Hot water? Damn man that just sounds so weird. I do use a launch box grinder and really think it works well. I use these scoops and they are perfect for loading the elbs

I use the 4piece Cali Crusher Homegrown Grinder. I use it with the keif section removed most times. It allows you to have a fine grind if twisted clockwise and a fluffy grind when twisted counter clockwise
