I can't wait until I get my ash BD UD. I might save up some dough to buy one for my soon-to-be brother in law. I ordered mine Tuesday morning.

I have some lavender fine oil I can use with the cup.

Where in this giant post are good tidbits about packing, heat up time and so forth?

Packing - not really necessary, but some people do it. The UD packs your bowl when you put the stem on it. I'd recommend loading the bowl nearly full, and loosely. Fine grind, but not MFLB fine.

Heat up time from cold is short, say around 10-30 minutes for these newer cores depending on your UD. However a lot of us run them 24/7, so they're always hot and ready :brow:

This. i'm one of those people who 'pack' a little. after sucking up the material into my stem i like to take the end of a Bic pen, which somehow has the perfect fit, and just slightly press it down very lightly.

Pluot, i think you'll quickly find how easy and simple the UD is to use and you'll be fogged out in no time.

Water all the wayyy babbby! Quick question guys, What should i look for in a car adapter? i have this little inverter but its output is only 115VAC 60Hz 20W. I dont think thats enough to power it. Didn't think i'd use it on the road until i got my UD :ko:

Edit: Just tried the inverter a little. Its didnt overload so i think itll work. itll atleast keep my pup warm on my travels

Your water feature looks nice, a little delicate for my clumsy ass. I think I'm going to get like an EHLE 100ml when I can find one online to use with my UD.

Gotcha... that car adapter doesn't modify the output voltage of the car's electrical system, so another car adapter like that would work.

I don't have much experience in using an actual power inverter though, sorry. I don't really like them. If you do use one, just be careful. Can't tell you how many electrical gremlins I've seen caused by people's massive splitters/inverters that they use in their car. There'd be no issue in using the UD alone of course, just use your (shred)head!

Just pulled 25+ Pups out of burn-in/testing this morning and am now getting them ready for re-homing, will probably start packaging them up this evening for shipment Monday morning. :)

Just over 24 hours left on the B-day special and we have a few left so if anyone is still considering a purchase or knows someone who is the clock is ticking.

Also have 15 or so Pups for the refresh that we're working on right now as well. Most of those are done and just need to have their pics taken and then posted on the website.

Alright time for this dog to get back to work.. mush UD, mush! :p

Hey guys - quick question,

I have pulled the trigger on one of Dave's Birthday Specials. But I am based overseas so I am faced with having to source my own power adapter.
I may as well just get a variable voltage power supply straight away.
I have been seeing a lot of tattoo gun variable power supplies with specs that seem to match what I believe to be the target:
Input voltage: AC 60V-245V 50Hz-60Hz
Output voltage: DC 0-20v / 2 amps (adjustable)
Output current: 2A

They seem to be much cheaper than sourcing a lab-style unit that I have seen some people with.
Does anyone know if this will work? Will I have any issues using something like this:

Well dudes and dudettes it's just about that time (when the special ends) but we've decided to wait until morning to take it down off the site so any stragglers have a bit more time to get their orders in.

I've got about a half-dozen pieces boxed up and ready to leave here tomorrow with the rest heading out over the next couple days. Some Twigs are still in testing for another day or two so if you requested one of those yours will be one of the last to ship, don't worry though that just means they'll be extra foggy. :brow:

A couple of orders for some glass (no vapes just glass) are late going out but I will get them sent tomorrow or Tuesday even if I have to grind them with a nail file by hand, I swear. If you're one of these patient peeps I'll be sure to stuff a few goodies in the package for you for being so, er, well.. patient.

If I've been working on a custom piece for you I'll email you directly tomorrow and let you know how your Pup is doing and when it can be adopted which will be soon since they're pretty much all done at this point.

Lastly for tonight I'm making the finishing touches on the last of the pieces for the refresh I've been working on and will finish them up in the next day or so. Planning on a mid-week refresh, probably Wednesday night, expect to see some really nice pieces in this one.

Ok i was jamming all weekend and all the boys in the band want a UD now. They are all combusters that use one hitters all the time. They have all tried all my other vapes. Never seen them so stoked on any other vape. Seriously, this is a perfect vaporizer. I don't even have a VVPS and my ABV is DARK chocolate brown. It can even totally vape BHO harder than my V-tower jacked up to 260 celcius. So impressed, don't be suprised if you get a few more canadian orders in the near future:p. Glad to have Underdog in my new arsenal:tup:

Alright Dogs time for another update, the second batch of B-day vapes has left the building.. any of you who were in this batch should receive an automated tracking email. This batch included all international orders (except for one custom'ish one) and you International Dogs will get an email from the Post Office but it might take 24 hours or so.

In wood related news I took a brief break yesterday to drive a couple towns over and pick up a big slab of locally cut Black Walnut that'd been sitting in some farmers barn for 20-30 years. It took three of us to lift in into the truck and then wouldn't fit all the way in the bed so it's a bit large, probably 200lbs and I think I'll get 75-100 Dogs out of it once I break it all down into blanks. Yay wood!

@ shredhead - awesome dude glad to hear you're enjoying the Dog. If any of your band mates want to order Dogs and do so at the same time I can ship a few in the same (large) box and so they can save some money and split shipping costs if they want. :2c:
