How much length of tubing in a unit when you buy from the UD website?

Do UD users out there prefer silicon tubing or a glass stem when they smoke?

hmm i'm not sure about the tubing. i bought a 1' of thin silicone tubing and 1' of thick silicone tubing just in case when i first got my UD probably about 6 months ago and i still haven't come close to using all of it. i'm sure Dave, Underdog, could answer that for you.

personally i really like the simple glass stem that Dave provides. although, for the first few months i absolutely loved using the thick silicone stem. maybe i'll try using it again since it's been a while.

i highly recommend using your UD with water pieces. makes the experience very enjoyable and you'll find that the UD performs amazingly with water pieces. really smooth hits.

I should have made the switch to vapor a long time ago. A friend pawned off on me his faux-wood plastic box style whip vape. That's a bad sign right there. When it wasn't combustin' it was barely working.

I'm really glad that UD is out there making a good product. It's amazing luck I stumble on to this cult following right at birthday special. For twice the money I would have bought a German vape that looks like a hot-glue gun, you know the one I mean, and I doubt I'd be happy with it.

The length of the tubing is between 4-5 inches? I didn't measure and I don't have the tubes next to me I'm just guessing but if it is too long you can cut it really easily with normal scissors.

I prefer silicone when I use it without filtration and glass when I use filtration. Also, it's *ahem* vapor. Haha just poking fun, I know what you meant when you said smoke.

I prefer glass to use with hydration, if you use the extra silicone included in the screen making kit and attach it to the other end of the glass stems it makes a pretty airtight seal on an 14mm. I also cut off a very slim, maybe half a centimeter, of the thick silicone tubing from the normal silicone tubes and added it to my glass stem before I slide on the silicone from the screen kit so that it'll hold in place better without shifting, the side that connects to the water pipe tends to shift a lot so the added silicone "stopper" helps a lot.

Yes, they are not built so you probably will not get a confirmation #(which I think you are trying to say tracking #?). This is just my though so don't take my word for it. But give the man a break he's making vapes to share with us in record time at a price break on his bday.


Anyway if anyone in any way feels my information is inadequate please add! I'm a bit self conscious since no one else is answering... (or maybe it is because I wake up too early...)

Looks like we've had some incomplete transactions on the website where people tried to checkout but for whatever reason it didn't make it through PayPal and the transaction didn't finish. If you tried to make a purchase and you haven't received and email from our website or PayPal (normally you'll get both) then the order hasn't gone through. If you're not sure you can check your PayPal and see if it's listed and what it says. If it hasn't gone through you might try again but don't just keep trying and trying because it will make a big mess on the back-end if you do. If it comes down to it we can find another way of finalizing those few payments that PayPal rejects for some reason.

Last I heard from Dave, one of the machines that they use for making glass is out of service, so there might be a delay on glass pieces until that situation gets figured out.

Hey SS64, I'm building out the B-day vapes as the order come in (and shipping them in that order too) but none will probably ship out before the end of the week. My initial plans were for none of them to ship until the special ends late on the 23rd but I will probably start shipping before that now. Once an order ships it only takes a couple days to make it to the Midwest.

Yes.. sort of. I did lose a piece of equipment that I need to make them but I still have 4-5 stems available, after that it might be a week or two before I can jury rig something up to make some more.

I would be happy to make you a Purpleheart Log but I don't have any PH that big in stock and I haven't seen any lately from my usual sources so I'd have to look around and see what's available. Assuming I can find some though yeah I can do that, obviously not for the B-day special price but otherwise no problem.

yo I just want to check in and make sure everyone is keeping their dogs buttered. It really makes the experience much better if you butter your log at least once a week. All it takes is a cloth and a little dog butter. First, make sure your dog is nice and warm. Get a nice big dab of dog butter on your cloth, and rub down your twig or log. The butter has a nice honey scent. Buttering my dog is a sensual delight. It only takes a minute or two. I have a twig, but that's ok.

I went to a local shop looking for stuff I could use in the copper aromatherapy bucket. I had oil in mind but ran across the resin-based incense. An example of one is frankincense. It comes as little rocks. The typical way to use this kind of incense is to sprinkle it on charcoals, but it works well in the UD. I put it with a little oil or water and it just melts right down and evaporates into the air. It lasts way longer than an equivalent volume of oil.

Hey Dave, stopping in to say happy birthday. I also want to thank everyone for their kind words and support. This truly has been one of the darkest moments I've ever been through. Tomorrow is the funeral, my brother had so many friends that services are being held in an auditorium to accommodate the crowd. I just wish I could turn back time and tell him how awesome I think he was. Well, now my eyes cry again so it's time to go... Thank you to all my dogs for the thoughts and prayers.

Custom glass adapter made for the Omicron/persei, but it looks like it would work better than your average "vapor h20 adapter" with the underdog silicone stems.

I also enjoy the Aromatherapy aspect of my dogs. I am currently using the Lemon and Cedar oils that I picked up from Dave...keeps my place smelling very nice . Also the GonG adapter and my Mobius Ion are a perfect match... Between my Dogs...my Cloud...and my PAX....its the perfect Vape Trifecta if you will!

After using solid resin-based incense for a few days, I think it might not be a good idea. The UD creates enough heat to melt the resin in the copper cup, but it just remains a liquid in there. Very little vaporizes and then the liquid just sits there. It solidifies again when cooled. So it is not as good for aromatherapy as I thought.
