Im putting this here in glass because that's whats going in it.

So, effectively this is what we are working with as far as the case. A pelican 1200 actual space allotment for rig will be 8.5" long x 5" +/- wide x 3.5" deep (from lid to bottom)

I already had the shell from combustion days and the foam had been pieced to bits over the years and stank of combustion so i ditched the foam and ordered a replacement. Well, while cleaning the other day guess what butterfingers did with his little travel rig? wa-wa-waaaaa yup snapped the mouthpiece right off... and i'm going on vacation in around a month... and i got GAS!

so... the issue is choosing... my wife says to me... well butterfingers, i guess u need tuffer glass with those ogre hands! which is of course license to me to go shopping for what daddy likes!

I was first thinking about a beer rig:
    http://www.highpriorityglass.com/brands-a-e/beer-glass-direct-injection-vapor-rig-with-dome-18mm/

but boy does that make butterfinger ogre hands cringe at cleaning with the last rig i had being very similar in size and shape.

so she says well get something a little bigger since you seem to have issue with little rigs.
    i love my wife!
so i see the nerds i think any would work, but the mouthpiece is just so out there asking to be snapped... but its 5mm glass, my last one was 3mm at its best... i would prolly go with the 50mm or 60mm with the 14mm fitting as it would prolly slip nicely with a pencil torch and spare tane on the other side... great for travel.

i have concidered the bates worm rig as well... but way up the price...
    http://aqualabtechnologies.com/conc...x-worm-clear-mini-diffusion-pump-bubbler.html

i've considered some of the Dave Goldstein mini bubblers, but they just seem to be a wee bit to tall and the base its about 1 inch too wide... i think that they just get ruled out cause even if i could make the 9" height work... the base it just putting the kinks on...

    but... there is this: http://aqualabtechnologies.com/conc...tions-inline-to-showerhead-vapor-bubbler.html

the more i look at the Kind Creations rig... the more i like it... it would be a tight fit, but the torch im gonna grab is this little blazer: http://aqualabtechnologies.com/supplies/blazer-torches/blazer-cordless-pencil-torch-black.html so i think i can make that work... i only dont know the actual thickness of the glass... is it at least 5mm?

so i guess it comes down to the wife, but if she hits me on price were gonna be looking at the nerd rigs i think... do u think they are tuff enough?

if price is up to 400 then that does open up the batesxworm diffuser and the KC inline to showerhead rig.

where would u go with this? just looking for some opinions other than my own rambling thoughts... do u have a 1200 case that you use for ur rig? lets see it!

hell i even put up a poll... for fun.

As much as I like the Worm Pump concept, I feel like a travel rig should be affordable =P

    How aboot:
    7inch SGW Nano rig?
    $150

    http://www.thedablab.com/ProductDetails.asp?ProductCode=SGW-Nano

If you are looking for other options, thedablab.com ==> categories ==> vapor rigs have tons of options under $300-400. Including affordable worked rigs.

.A fine option indeed :D I may consider this one as well... well, the kind creation is nice, but idh
k... If were saying that the kc is the lowest in that lineup it really does hurt its chances as the price tag is up there...

Edit: @ sd... Frankly, I think that sgw is butt ugly... The welds where they attached the inline to the back,of the rig just looks slooppy... Ive eyed it sevwral times cause it looks great at first, but the blugh!

Hmm, you mean how the inline reinforcement to the back of the can kind of indents the wall in? Didn't notice that before but I don't like that either :\

For further little tiny detail inspection:
I feel like the 2nd showerhead perc in the KC is off. Look how close the domed wall of the perc is to the hollow upstem tube. Can see it in pic #5

Just thinking about the physics of it, that super skinny crevice the vapor would have to travel through, especially after a single water perc already, might be a bit much.

Edit: no need to cosider the kc rig, I see someone liked it more than me. Enjoy your crooked showerhead! Lmao

Agreed... It looks nifty, but kc just seems off, plus after further thought... I bet its a bitch to clean too!

The syn nano looks nice, but I wonder if I shouldnt just stick with the N3RD. On another note, if I could find this (maybe even used) id be all over it! https://store.kultureva.com/mothership-glass-mini-concentrate-bubbler/dp/11407

That's a pretty sick piece but if you break the swing you're SOL. What about a toro macro? they're pretty smooth for how small they are.

Does the function, filter, cooling & flavor make the bates worm worth the $200 price diffrence over say the 55 & 65mm n3rd rigs? They are just 4 slit diffusion where the wb has "the pump"...
