Discontinued The Sublimator

Does anyone know if customs will be an issue when returning the sublimator from the U.S.?

You may want to check in with Enrico on how to handle the apollo. It's not supposed to get wet, so even with ISO I would be careful outside of maybe gently swabbing out the holes.

Best bet for that part, as far as I am aware, is to crank up the heat to full blast for 10 min to burn anything out of it. As Tommii stated, you can clean the rest out with ISO.

Got a Sputnik, was messing about and like a doofus dropped it into a heated atomizer. Now it's stuck together & doesn't come apart. Any ideas on how to remove greatly appreciated.

I think you have to heat the whole thing up then pull the chain while securing the atomizer

Tried that... Heated both & used pliers to try to pry apart but no luck. Can I put some olive oil to lubricate?

Ok.. Got it out. Phew!

I have been debating getting some new glass and obviously want it to work well with the sub. I have been looking into getting a vertigo pillar recycler, but I think it will be too small for the sub. More specifically I think the piece does not have a big enough base to support the weight of the sub and preventing it from tipping. Any thoughts or comments subculture...

Wow... good luck @Rastclutt :o!

@kingtut106, as another alternative I think that the cloud buddy from VXC works pretty well as a reclaimer with a reducer bushing and a 14mm atomizer.

As far as cleaning the launchtube, I was planning on using some of this:

I don't have my erbo pipe anymore, it was an interesting novelty. It combusted but then scrubbed the toxins with a centrifuge. I do still have half a bottle of their plastic pipe cleaner, which works remarkably well. Solvent based so not for reclaim, but won't harm the plastic. Googling plastic pipe cleaner it looks like there's other options out there as well. This one looks friendlier/greener but idk how well it works:

Glad it worked out for you. If you cool down your heating unit and atomizer, it will get stuck. Heat it up all the way by plugging it in until its at the maximum, then pull it off. After, remember to adjust the switch to your temperature to avoid stressing the heating bulb.

I was thinking I wouldnt use the cloud buddy with the vertigo pillar recycler since it has the direct injection downstem. The bend should collect the reclaim decently down there.

Honestly, you may want to just look at the launch tube...no fear of anything breaking or tipping from what I can see. Glass is nice for the Sub, but you have to be sure you are not a klutz like me.

Just saw the tall tube with sub at my LHS....the sub is gettin around Canada! I giggled at their 1000 dollar price tag. My 220 dollar sub should be here tomorrow:p

$1000?? Was that the full stainless version or the special edition? That's quite the mark up if it's the latter.

Just the regular tube with the sub. I'm in the middle of Canada where everything vape related is marked up big time. Solos are 260 here.

220?!? was it a UFO kit?
Yep! Can't wait! Picked up a 18mm stopper for my Y adapter from ALT. gunna catch they reclaim real nice hopefully.

I am a little confused, can this device do dry herb and concentrates with teh same device? Or is one for dry herb only and the nail is for concentrate?

What are people using as a sweet spot for double deckers? Thinking of the difference in sweet spots for flowers and oil - I end up with oil running into the bowl if at flower temperature (29-31W), but turning it up to a more oil appropriate temp (40-42W) would cause flower combustion.

I usually end up doing one or the other, dabs for a session or flowers for a session, with the occasional (somewhat underheated) sublimate dab doubled up with flowers.

First world problem to say the least!

I say that if you sublimate weed, it can sublimate oil. People can have colder piece not producing high enough temperature for oil. Try to go for a sweet spot

-----------------------

I ordered this sick custom recycler bong that will be shipped out on thursday morning! Gonna ask him to send me a picture of it before it goes into the box!

Suppose to be female 18MM to fit the reclaim piece I have. A lot of recyclers are only male 18mm for only dabbing. Has some slime and black and white on it!

I'm seriously getting into customs instead of factory made

Just did my first double decker in almost a week ,at 35 watts, and it was amazing. I got higher off that one rip then this morning when I smoked a gram joint smeared and stuffed with .25g of wax that tested at 80 Percent.

I can hit flowers at 38 to 40 watts and it won't combust, but gets pretty dark in one pull.

Time to get way beyond vaporized.

When I do a double decker, I don't worry much about the oil in the bowl....the herb will suck it up and it will vape it all up if you do a couple of draws. So I would always set it as high as possible (within your taste) without combusting the herb.

Just be mindful that the drier your herb is, the greater chance of it combusting at higher temps.
