cant wait to get the ac adapter with all of the positive reviews.

on another note, i read the mflb wiki and used the slow draw nose breathing technique. i got some of the best hits followed by a really good night of sleep

Ya... The nose technique is fuckin excellent!!! Prior to learning the technique I could never really draw clouds from my LB. Now I pretty much use a combo technique of the nose draw and micro hitting.
And then theres the technique I use for being totally discrete... Im like a secret agent vapor guy!!!

I'm very closet to pulling the trigger on an adapter unit but I have a question for MF:

If these are the 'beta' versions of the PAs, will the production units still function/look the same? Basically, I don't want to pay $64 for a beta version where in 1 or 2 months the production version will be out with a cleaner, better look or an improvement is made. Essentially I don't want to buy the beta unit now, to be one upped by the production unit in a month.

Will this happen if I buy a PA today?

Why do they keep denying the transaction?

Don't know. Maybe my bank (or my country) was blacklisted by their bank or something... I live in a far away, backwards society.

Mehhh, just needed to complain to someone. :D

Thought you might like to hear this story FC,
I am running low on my supply so I grabbed some ABV, crumbled it up and loaded it up with the PA started about 75% and have got about 6 huge rips off it while slowly working my way up 1 click at a time to max. The ABV is still not completely spent and still has some good aftertaste. It doesn't taste like a fresh trench, of course. You have to pull really fast (I can barely hear air coming in the intake) and it's hot but with the PA the LB is very effective at vaping at these higher temps longer than I would ever be able to get with AAs.

Hi,

We expect the production version to be very similar to the Beta in both form and function. However, it is
not really possible for us to know in advance what changes/improvements might be made. Part of the reason for releasing a Beta version in the first place is to identify if any further changes are needed, things we overlooked in our own design, etc.

At this point, the changes that we are expecting are relatively minor and cosmetic. We will be adding another engraving step, rubber feet, and possibly some markings on the dial control. That is all that is pending so far. Since the idea behind the Beta is to test the existing units to be sure that everything is thought of and right before a more general release, there could be more enhancements added to the list.

sounds like some good changes, Magic Flight.

The PA is sounding fucking great right now, I have not used my Box in a bit, so I used it earlier and really had to pull slow, slower then was comfortable at times, I imagine that the PA would suit me well.

assuming no more material or labor is added, what would the ballpark price range of the PA be(even an approximate estimate is fine) once its released to customers?

Quick, random question. But has anyone tried treating their LB with buzz butter or similar beeswax+oil log vape treatment mixtures? It seems like the wood gets kinda dry and old looking after half a year or so of regular usage. It also seems like it gets a bit of discoloration from being carried around inside clothing, like a dark tint from lint and stuff, especially around the corners. I'm gettin a new LB soon and i'm thinking about trying some of the stuff that came with my wdz on it to prevent the wood from aging that same way as others.

I have tried this a couple of times, it was slightly darker after, but the LB does not have the smoothest wood so I didnt find applying the mixture helpful. I think the new wood units are a bit smoother, as a friend of mine has one of the new ones(new maple wood, trench O-ring and battery pushback ring, mine has none of those things).

Anyone with the adapter and a multimeter test something out? Mine puts out about 0.09v - 0.15v depending where the dial is even without pressing the button while plugged in, just wondering if they all do.

Also my button was sticking in after releasing. If anyone else has this happen just slightly loosen the metal ring that holds the button in the end. Mine was too tight and the button wasn't clicking, I gave it a tenth of a turn looser and that fixed it.

Rollin old school:D I too don't have any of the new upgrades made to the box but I can say my box is still amazing and doesn't give me any troubles. Magic-Flight really does have a ridiculously reliable vape. I mean, the only things that I would ever worry about is the light not working or breaking the screen.. Otherwise this thing is almost bullet proof.

I like the new adapter and how it opens up a whole new category for doubling as a home and portable vape. I think I'm just gonna wait until the production model comes out before I buy it because I'm really in no rush since I have another home vape.. But if I didn't, this power cord would have made me one happy single vape owner knowing my lite box can be hit at my home whenever or on the go.

Haha I can just rant for days about magic-flight and how great the box is.. I'm vaked so I'll just stop. :ko:

would it be a bad idea to keep my battery inside my mflb with the positive(nipple) side facing outwards in my pocket?

It's ok as long as you don't have metal objects in your pocket that might short out the battery (keys, change).

And one last thing. I should/can NOT use pealed batteries in other devices(i.e. xbox controllers) right, or can I?

I'm not speaking for Magic Flight, but I'm pretty sure they want that # etc...

I could give it to them later though... Maybe it would be too complicated and they won't want to deal with it. But I think it would be awesome to come home in 3 weeks to find it there just waiting for me

Hello,

I have a launchbox and I have a few queries if anyone can help.

I really really want to get my hands on this power adaptor. I have just 2 questions. Forgive me for my very obvious ignorance.

1) I live in the UK - will this work with our wall plugs? If not, will it still work effectively if I use it through a UK to US adaptor?

2) Is it possible to power the power adaptor through the cigarette lighter in cars? Again, excuse my ignorance but are these different in the US and UK? Is a car adaptor something that is already possible or is it something MagicFlight haven't released yet?

Just dying to get my hands on one!

1) I'm sure you can get one of those adapters and it will work.

2) A few people have used inverters to power it up. I'm sure the new ones now have sufficient wattage to work in a car :)
