I know exactly what you mean, but I don't think you are losing too much good stuff. Both my minivap and herbie have lighter abv than my mighty, but most of the good stuff is extracted. I tried putting the abv from my minivap and herbie in my mighty, cranked it to 410, and I got a few tasteless, weak clouds. Not worth it.

?? Have you tried putting the Mighty ABV in the Herbie? Since Mighty max temp is only 410, it would be interesting to see what the Herbie can extract out of it ??

You need both items in the picture. You do not need the volcano filling chamber (not in picture).

Thanks or see what you've done. I went and ordered the solid valve parts for Herbie. This setup kind of grabs me--brings back memories of Amsterdam coffee shop Volcano bags. I liked that they felt substantial. My wife may like this and happy wife = happy life
And you know what's funny----I've never even used a single Herbie bag (or the upper half of the Herbie chamber) LOL

Easy call to get the Herbalizer over the Volcano. For a whip adapter grab some SSV tubing to replace the stock stuff and then stick in a 18mm M2M for your D020-D. Then stick Herbie on 445...leaps and bounds beyond the volcano...

Second night with the Herbie. I'm loving the bags. I will say last night my grind was too fine which most of you know already, isn't the best with this desktop. Loose grind tonight and everything was PERFECT!!

I have not because the abv is coffee color and looks too cooked.

You can use the whip that came with the Herbalizer. It will form a seal if you stick the end in the adapter. I'll try to post a pic tonight to explain.

When it comes to using concentrates with the Herbie do you guys just use one oil pad and stick the melt on it or two stacked on top of each other then the oil on top of that? Not sure here

YungLeaner, will any hose other than the ssv work? Can I go to Home Depot and look for one ,or buy a different brand vape hose? If I can get a different name vape hose I could probably get the 18mm M2M glass fitting in the same order.

Two pads. Stickstones gave me the advice, put concentrate on top of one screen and sandwich another on top. To keep your herbie cleaner

So none of it leaks down if it's sandwiched like that? Do you set the temp to the highest setting?? I've never really used concentrates, I'm an insomniac so I'm needing that deep body stone

I usually dab but have made concentrate balloons with the herbie. I would set a clean pad down, apply your concentrate (wax, shatter) on top and then place the other clean pad over that. Place into herbie bowl and crank to 445 (concentrates need higher temps). I think this is a good way for you to get into concentrates. Let us know how it works out. Don't put too much concentrate (size of a bb).

Here's an option with SSV whip tubing from VaporNation and from @Ratchett ,
a couple 18-14 silicone reducers.

Herbie chamber to a couple silicone reducers stacked together to SSV tubing to 18 male to 14 female glass adpter (that would make your bubbler a 14 mm female. Most bubblers come with 18 mm female joint.
reducers at Delta 3D Studios, used in this method. Same studio with the Herbie Song V2 must have adapter..

SSV whip to 14 mm female setup. Herbie, 2 reducers, SSV whip, to 14 mm female joint.
SSV tube available at Vapor Nation in 3 and 10 ft lengths.
Many other ways like the ratchett song and MFLB water whip I posted earlier.
There is no best way, just a hundred ways

Yeah, Home Depot has hose that will work! Go and buy 1/4" x 3/8". Be forewarned that the whip as is won't fit right over the top of the herbalizer bowl top. Youll need to cut small slits on two side of one whip end to fit it over the herbalizer bowl, and then the other end (whatever length you want) can be stuck into an 18mm M2M. This will improve airflow VASTLY. SSvV tubing is flexible and better, but the Home Depot stuff is definitely a good start. The stock tubing on the Herbie is nice IMO but not well-suited for water usage, which needs maximum airflow.

If you're having trouble milking a glass piece, revert to @stickstones method and toast a full nug in the bowl for a few hits of whispy vapor before crushing it with your hand and re-packing it. This can also be done with normally ground weed, you just have to be careful while toasting it. Either way, you'll have a chamber filled with stuff that is just ITCHING to milk a bubbler or bong.

I have been re-exploring @MinnBobber's minivap setup. However, I inserted the minivap nipple into a small section of ssv tubing, which I then had inserted into @Ratchett's Herbie Song 2.0. This fully loaded goes into the bottom Herbie chamber on top of the Herbalizer. I can then insert the Herbie whip, or connect the whip to a bubbler, blow a bag, or hit with the hydratube (which I am exploring right now). I am getting great hits, but I prefer whip to bubbler, because I can see the density of the vapor better than with my straight hydratube.

By the way, very dense vapor for about 3-4 solid draws. And if I want to use the hydratube I can now leave the hydratube on top of the the setup and it will remain standing. Really enjoying this at the moment.

I get CRAZY clean highs from the Herbie with concentrates, I can almost feel sober for a moment because the high is so innately focused on my head, and not my body...
