The Dr Dabber Pen

    So I ordered a recycler attachment for the boost and it still hasn't shipped after over a week of them having my money... They won't answer my e-mails about it and I am also trying to warranty my Boost and they won't respond to those e-mails either... About to cancel my order via my credit card company if they don't send me tracking by tomorrow.

    I recently purchased the Boost erig from a smoke shop in Las Vegas. Have been using it and loving it since getting it about a week ago but all of a sudden this morning, the device stopped heating up. I was able to take a dab first thing this morning then i left it my table to go outside and do yard work for a little bit and came back to take another dab but it wouldnt heat up at all after that point. First instinct was to try and charge so i did that and tried agaij after chargijg it but still no luck. I tried different nails to see if maybe just the nail burnt out but no luck. At no point did any water get spilt into the heating area either.

    So i took it into Still Smoking, smoke shop in Vegas, to see if they had any fixes but they said reaching out would be easier. Are there any solutions to my problem? Or any similar problems?

    I wrote an email the same day i posted and Steph had replied asking me to charge it over night. Which i already had so i replied back to start with the replacement and am now just awaiting forfor the reply. Unless you tell me the process to file the claim is...Either way you guys are the best! Thank you for replying

    Just an update on their customer service. Just dropped off the broken heating unit at USPS to ship to Dr Dabber. Luckily, they are in Vegas so quick shipping comes free. I got my tracking number then called in to speak with Chase to give them my tracking number. He said he will work on shipping out a replacement now! Hoping for it to arrive tomorrow or the next day! Best customer service around. Thanks to all at Dr. Dabber!

    Picked up an Aurora from a local headship and it didn't work straight out of the box. I've been trying to get Dr. Dabber to replace it or something but they don't respond to their support page. Can't speak for the product but it seems the customer service is shit.

    I just did a warranty claim on one of my boosts and my Aura, I am still awaiting shipment but in my dealings with them this time as well as times in the past I can say that their customer service is stellar! I am sure they will get you taken care of. Ask for Felix :tup:

    Haven't been around for a while but I did reviews, updates, and trip reports earlier in this thread. Things have been going pretty well and my Ghost is still the best pen I have ever used! My loaner pen I lend out so people can try the Dr.-D was lost in the water on a float trip a month or so ago but before that it got a few of my friends to switch to the Ghost!

    More recently one of my close friends got the Boost E-rig, Aura and light Pens. I plan on coming back here with a Solid review on them. Because of that he lent them to me for a week for research :). The short story is I really want a Boost and the Ghost is still king in my book. I entered in the Boost raffle WML!

    I have confidence it will be handled but we are dealing with C.S. on an issue with the boost. I knew if I came here first it would be handled promptly but I decided to have him call and see how they did. I kind of thought it would just be replaced no questions asked. After talking to a rep named Holly it seems he needs to go back to the LHS and see if they can provide a receipt. He did register his boost on purchase to prevent such an issue but iirc she said it may have been lost in the website changeover? In the meantime he purchased another one! That alone shows how much he likes it.

    As for me and my Ghost I recently got home and emptied my pockets to see my whole top above the atomizer was gone. I was having problems with the threading, though I think the threads on the Atomizer were bad not the Ghost top. Despite the Aura having the magnetic connection preventing this issue I still prefer the Ghost. I am heading out of town for another Off road adventure in Silverton Co. Unfortunately I am leaving Thurs. night so I doubt Dr.-D can get me a replacement before I go. They have had fast shipping in my experience but that's a short time frame. I am currently trying to find someone with The Ghost in stock near me, it seems most stores are carrying the Aura, Boost, and Light only. I'm sure there's zero chance of anyone carrying just the top.

    It seems my account on their Page was lost when they changed the site, Nbd really and the site does look nice! Also, does the Fc discount still stand? Because the code doesn't seem to work anymore.

    Can't seem to find the thread for the Dr. Dabber Boost. Am having issues with the unit charging. Thought it was the cable so I threw it out, used my PAX cable, no luck. Changed the battery , works fine now, but still not charging. No lights or signs that it is charging with any battery.

    Love this thing besides that. It's friggin awesome

    I hate to ask this of you guys, because I did not purchase them directly from you, I got one from here: http://www.vapepen.us/vaporizer/dr-dabber-boost-erig-mod-attachment/
    and the other from here: http://edabsdirect.com/products/kt-510-nail-for-any-mod-battery-50w-100w-mod-box-required

    The 2nd link is probably a clone (just purchased to compare to), the first one claims to be authentic, but my question is:

    1) Do you think the first link (the authentic one) is the updated version with NO TEFLON?
    2) Once I receive the product is there anyway to tell (like serial #) if it HAS TEFLON?

    Pretty sure that the only units that contained a Teflon heat shield near the heating element were the very first runs of the original boost (the one that comes with the battery built-in). Since then, everything has been ceramic top, including both of the links above.

    I've been lusting after the Boost for several weeks now, and when it went on sale last week I pulled the trigger. My payment was processed but then 24 hours later I received an email stating that my order had been cancelled by the merchant. No explanation or reason. I've reached out twice via email to Dr Dabber but have received no response. Has anyone experienced this? Why would they cancel my order? It wasn't a billing issue, the money was paid and then refunded. Everyone says their customer service is awesome, but if they won't even sell to you its hard to agree.

    I also have a brand new Aura which I would love if the battery worked consistently. Also zero response to that issue.

    Now the Boost is on sale again, but without knowing why they turned their nose up at my purchase last week, I am sketchy about trying again.

    To those with experience with the company, is it just that they ignore email? I see that the company rep comes on here whenever someone has a problem and says "Reach out to customer service" but they are only available during work hours so a phone call is problematic. Has anyone ever gotten a response from customer service without having to take time off work to speak to a live person?

    Hi, Sorry you didn't receive a response back! Usually you should receive a response within 48 hours during the work week. As far as the cancelation of the order, that is beyond our control. We have a fraud protection system that sometimes blocks purchases even if they are legit. If you would like us to look into this for you please reach out to our customer service line between 9-5pm pst mon-fri. We would be happy to get your aurora battery up and running as well!
    If you can dm a picture with the nail removed I can tell you for sure!
