Anyone else see Stephen Hawking: Into The Universe? It thoroughly blew my mind and really put the scale of life into perspective. I would advise against watching if you get super paranoid about what is to become of the Earth (haha my mom, but that's a different story).
I really enjoyed it, but I'm kind of interested in that sort of thing. He makes some pretty unreal predictions about the future of the universe and explains a whole slew of cosmic consequences for the human race, such as the asteroids that are in close range of us and the fate of the sun. Check it out!
