    I think they mean for a female joint. The left picture you see the bottom is a reducing cone? Looks like it would fit a female 18.8 downstem, going directly into the joint. The hole in the middle is for the air to pull from the top through the joint into the downstem.

    I'm pretty sure, anyways. I'm stoned as fuck.
