For me its both

I enjoy cannabis not only for its effects and what it does for my 'woes/ailments', but also because it smells, tastes, and looks good - plus its just an all around fascinating plant/organism.

K, here I go:

Relaxation, inspiration, stimulation, recreation, insomnia, appetite inducer, meditation, pain relief, and I suspect it's unavoidable to develop at least some form of mental addiction or habit or whatever you want to call it too, after all of these years of daily use.

Reason to vape: I no longer appear to be a lightweight (like I can't handle my hits) when having a session with friends, just because my throat is burning like I inhaled an acid cloud of schwag, and can't endure any more abuse.
I can vape all I want and rarely do I even cough. It's really is nice to once again enjoy the effects of a nice long session without the pain. Don't get me wrong, I loved the old school methods for 28 years.......I just know that vaping will let me continue to enjoy mother herb for the rest of them.

For the chill, for the thrill. For the high, the taste and the smell. For the insights and the thoughts.

Apart from human's discovering the herb, Vaporization is the best thing that ever happened to Cannabis and its connoisseurs.

It's saved my life twice, keeps me from going crazy from my migraines, relieves anxiety, and is useful in social situations.

I second all of this; I was roofied once and I'm pretty sure that the high residual cannabinoid content in my body protected my mind enough to keep me from seriously hurting myself during the blackout period. I definitely lost less time than someone else who was also dosed, but that could be due to several factors.

Because of LIFE

Reason? Best one I can think of is that a gram lasts me a week or two now due to efficiency, and this allows me to enjoy a new strain much more frequently.

My reason to vape?

It's a pleasurable experience.
Smooth tasty vapor going into my lungs is a nice feeling, and even when I cough after too-big a hit, it's just a cough, that's the end of the discomfort.
Combustion was always just a means to an end; so-so taste, and a burning feeling in my lungs/throat aren't something I like feeling. (I'm not sure if this plays a part or not, but I've never been a cig smoker either)
With vaping, I find it so enjoyable, sometimes I want to vape just to experience it, not necessarily to get more medicated.
With combusting, I never felt the urge to smoke (whether it was a Bong or a J) just because it was fun/enjoyable in and of itself...

^^^ Couldn't have said it better myself, its so much more enjoyable.

But usually when I am asked by friends or something, all I need to say is I can choose to go through at least .5 not enjoying it as much and getting less high, or get higher and enjoy it more off .2. Case closed.

Combustion doesnt make sense in regards to getting the most flavour and efficiency,offers a generic, non-tunable buzz profile, and is almost sickening after youve gotten used to the proper way to extract ingredients from and herb without introducing smoke into your body.

I love how you can actually TASTE the different strains of weed. Blueberry tastes like blueberry, lemon taste like lemon. I can't even smoke now without getting nauseous, which is a main reason I use cannabis. Vaping is the ONLY way to fully enjoy the beauty of weed!!!

I always say that vaporizing cannabis is like tasting a fine wine, you have to savour it.

I vape to make living in my head bearable (and fun at times) as well as for the sheer pleasure of it, and tastes and flavours that just aren't there in combustion.

Combustion gave me a hangover. No vaporizer in my experience is better than the Cloud at being clean. My iolite which was previous most used vaporizer still gave me something that lingered.

New member...gave up cigs 12 days ago after 30 years so no tobacco in joints and realise the vape will be better for me loving it feeling better.
