Call him at 518 390 0034 asap, g'luck
Heh heh. I told Ryan early on that since I had my beta (Venus) I was in no hurry to get my production model so put me late in the queue (even tho I had the first beta).
He sure took me at my word...
It is a very good thing how well Venus has stood up to the time. I think that's a good sign for everyone...
So exciting man. Definitely let us know. And as always .. not taking pics is a sin .. punishable by death.
Also. I forgot to mention. This may be more appropriate in the shipping thread but I'm posting here because I feel more people who need to see it will see it here.
RBT on IG said a lot of emails from early preorders haven't been replied to. Make sure to check junk and spam. Everyone should've gotten an email I believe. Make sure to reply with your info!!
Edit: @cybrguy thanks for taking one for the team. I think something similar happened to @Shit Snacks Mi.

Thanks for the number. Had a good talk with Ryan, good guy to talk to as everyone says. My package will be recalled and redirected. What's a few more days after all this time? No problem here...
I have received a tracking number!
Got my shipping email! Had to change the address though which Ryan kindly did. I ordered on Jan 2016.
Got my shipping notification too. Just over 2 years for me. It's supposed to arrive today, of course I'll be out of town through the weekend... this always seems to happen! Still, pretty exciting!
It has arrived!
There is a number "100" inside, not sure if that is the unit number, but I will pretend it is because that is a pleasant number.
On IG live feed just now he said a big order should be going out tomorrow that should clear up the majority of the preorders.
Congrats everyone .. we made it
OMG just got my shipping email. @AJS you were a day before me so I'm assuming you're also doing a Zion dance right now
593 days later. Yep I got it. Congrats on 594
I'm fucking ecstatic.
I'll be making LOTS of videos.
Just got my shipping email, too. Should hopefully be here Friday.
got my shipping too! woot woot!
Not quite yet...
Ryan is missing close to a dozen replies on Zion Glass color preferences and shipping address confirmation emails. He sent out another email from another address recently to perhaps bypass spam filters. Check your spam filters and get back to him. He wants to send you a Zion!
One more batch then?
I'm bringing up the ass here for sure, as I just ordered this March, but DAMN I wanna know whennnn!
Very pleased to see everyone else getting theres, can't wait to hear @AJS impressions.
You weren't in this batch? He got through the batch I was in pretty quickly. Less than a month. So you should be coming!!!
Edit: looks like it only took about 10 days. Hopefully yours is equally as fast.
Edit 2: on September 8th he said I would be about a month for me. It was 12 days from that point..but I don't think batch 1 had even finished yet.
Nah, I'm definitely one of, if not the last order.
4/4/2017 hahaha, I'm just lucky/happy I got in.
I think he's waiting on that company to make him wiring harnesses before he finishes. I could be wrong, I'm always baked as shit watching his streams trying to multi-task so I may miss important details... but no email for me yet.
When you get it Charge Batteries. If they are full won't take long. If not this will save you heartbreak and head scratch. I have plugged into USB 3 multitap. 31/2 hours from empty.
Find the hole on bottom. Get comfortable holding button with thumb and finger over hole.
Hold button and count slow to 5. let go. Place mouth and cover hole Push button again and start long slow suck. When you feel heat in throat let off button.Wiggle finger on and off to provide "shotgun" or clear chamber mode and recover to build up next blast. My daughter does a wa wa suck and plugs hole always till end. (Hey Stu that qualify?)The true flavor of all your strains will be revealed.
Play that funky music. You will never look at Peruvian Pan Flutes the same way.
I'm sure this works for you, but I've never done it. When I tried to do it just now, it made things rather awkward. Perhaps a picture showing how you do this might help.
I have experimented with modulating airflow through that hole. I concluded that it didn't make enough difference to matter to me so I'd never think to advise someone to try it. I'd encourage people to do the experiment themselves, since there are probably other people out there like you who find some benefit from it.
Two handed operation.
Weight balanced in left hand with right thumb on power button.
Left index finger searches for hole as load heats up.
Flutter finger to release heat. (it is instead of the wa wa suck)
Ah, two handed. Ok then.
I just realized that this is the shipping thread.
I did this a little early on, but like you determined the inconvenience wasn't worth any benefit. This could be useful for those who find the wide open air path difficult to manage. Kinda like using @DDave mouthpieces that reduce air flow. It seems to me, however, that those mouthpieces would be an easier way to accomplish this without the awkwardness of trying to cover the air hole.
Oops, good point.
To make in on topic: I received no instructions when unit shipped. It was on me to figure something out. You guys hold in one hand and work thumb as heat increases? I think I may have experienced the "Heat Bomb" on second day but thought it was me and Hulkette (daughter) pressing button to much.
I have to ship back and can't let it go right now. It is giant Milania with no heat control . Anything other than full blast is cold. I watched the 11 minutes step up video by @AJS and mine ain't like that. All or nothing. But what an all. I know it needs a touch up but one brother sent his back and was months before return and after waiting almost 2 years I want to savor flavor on the deck for a month or so before I return. Move this to Zion if you wish.
On this my beta should be just like your production unit. The idea of the power control knob is that you set in at the level you want (below combustion temp) and then hit the button for your hit. There is no reason to feather the button on the Zion. I just hold the button in until I have had enough.
Did the Zion being all or nothing start after your potential "heat bomb" experience? It may be that after the chip fails the regulation is gone and it is on or off, tho it seemed from the report like it just remained on after failure. Dunno, we'll have to see. I hope Ryan gives us an autopsy report...
