I have not tried this but I have done research and am going to try it ASAP, I just posted this for any comments/suggestions before I waste my ABV.

    Ingredients:
1 cup of milk for every 1/2 gram
    Thermos
    Pan
    Mug
    Cheesecloth

    Directions:
1.Put milk into pan, bring to skimmer
2.Pour milk into thermos; at same time pour in Bud
    3.Put cap on thermos
4.Let sit for 25 mins, Agitate every 30 seconds for five seconds
5.Dump into mug, strain B through Cheesecloth
    6. Add any toppings and enjoy (microwave if temp dropped)

Do you think the time that I let the bud sit in the thermos is good. If anyone who made anything like this, is the amount of milk per bud good. Thanks for any help

If it is ABV, depending on how much it has been vaped, I'd go with 1 gr/cup.
If it is bud, 1/2 a g. + a previous heating to decarb. it and you're good to go!

It should work fine! I used to do it with green bud & Nesquick when I was a kiddo! :D

This looks awesome! Gonna try this soon. If your looking for a bigger batch, you could make the AVB *milk* posted in the cooking section, then use the pre made milk to make cocoa or whatnot

Thanks for the replies...im going to try this soon whit my buddy when we have a free day.

@FLskwat:Its probably going to be 90% ABV and the rest just fresh bud, Im a pretty big newb at this cooking stuff but what does previous heating to decarb mean...I think I know but just want to make sure

@Purpl3_Haz3: Great, Let me know how it goes please. I looked at the thread before posting mine and saw it was to big of a batch and not exactly what I was looking to post

LOL... I was thinking the same thing. This must've been one KILLER cup of Hot Chocolate!!

I like the idea of letting the ABV steep for so long in the thermos though. I just responded to a thread about coffee but in that recipe you only steep the ABV for around 5 minutes. This has got me thinking which is never a good idea.

    From December 2013:

Tried making an ABV hot chocolate drink this weekend using 1 cup whole milk, 1 packet Nestle hot cocoa mix and 2 grams finely ground (using coffee grinder) ABV. Not much of a taste, but it didn't taste much like chocolate either.

Started feeling effects after approx. 20 minutes and proceeded to get stronger from there (this was at 5pm). Got much more effect than I had intended and still felt effects in the morning.

Very surprised and pleased by the experience, but will definitely be cutting back next time.

Update: I found that between 1.25g & 1.5g is the right dose for me. The below method has worked reliably every time.

Grind up the ABV in a coffee grinder - the finer the better, it will mix better and also offer more surface area to access any remaining THC. Heat 1 cup of whole milk on the stove until it gently boils. Pour into a mug with 1 packet of hot cocoa mix (my preference is Swiss Miss) and ABV, stir thoroughly and enjoy.

At the lower dose of ABV, the drink has a primarily chocolate taste.

I am having recently very good rezults with Cocoa Butter (which also contains lecitin in the formula). I add a pinch of coco oil/butter if i can :). heat the cup into a pan full with water.. for a while than just add hot water , u can add milk too if u r into diary products and substitute the coco butter with common butter :). I don't care much for straining i just make sure my abv is ground to dust :)

Looks interesting, I'm tempted to try it. Not many single serving ABV recipes out there, so I like the idea! And this leaves no smelly smell in my kitchen? And how are the effects?

No smells :) The effects, from my experiences, have been as potent as brownies, but that depends on how "used up" your AVB is. My AVB is always thoroughly brown (no green) but not dark/black.

I used 2g in a single dose and got so high, I had to go to sleep. When I woke up the next morning, I was a bit highover. Never had that happen from vaping.
