This piece was started yesterday and will need a final sand in a day or so.
Started life as a cone, BW and crimson mesh acrylic square with copper accents.
My new lathe has 24 index point on the headstock so it makes filing a bit easier. I no longer have to lock the chuck against the tool rest for two faces then guess the last two.

Also did another Bocote with the TiHE's I got made, I'll get a bit of video of it in the morning.

Two years today I decided it'd be a good idea to turn stems.
I've seriously no idea what I've made in that time, over the next few days I'll get a bit of video together of my trip so far but for now here's a bit of Crimson and copper porn with a bit of Snakewood for good measure.

Gorgeous. How does acrylic deal with warm vapor going through it, though? Is that safe?

Also might be a silly question but is there an Etsy or something? How do we know what's available and what the prices are?

@janusportal, thank you.

I made myself a 150mm Padauk stem and never lined it with anything. This stem made me understand the need for an easy clean option.

Once the pfennig dropped during a conversation with @Hogni I saw the way round being able to use different materials in a safe manner.

Isolate the vapor path and the outer shell could be made out of just about anything.

There is a full length, fixed SS condenser in all my stems.

No Etsy or anything PM me and I'll explain how I go about taking orders.

@needalift I think we may need to chew some fat, it's been a while.

I'll drop this in here as well.

Thank you to everyone for making the last two years a fukin nightmare:rofl:
Never in my wildest dreams did I think I could pull this off let alone keep it up for two years.
It's been a trip and a half and it's gotten a bit out of hand but it beats the living shit out of the stuff I used to have to do.

Thank you

You are very welcome!!! I hope that I did my part!

Collecting beautiful handmade stems for my part has been a very rewarding hobby. Functional and beautiful, your stems have made vaping so much more pleasurable. Now I can change my vaporizer with my mood or circumstance. A PP stem provides a different vape for every event. I never tire of losing myself in the grain of your creations.

Please keep creating those stunningly beautiful stems!

A loyal fan!!!

Congratulations on your 2-year anniversary. Wow, what a nice show of your work in the photo montage! It was fun seeing mine in there, along with all the others. A lot of gorgeous stems, and some I had completely forgotten about. Looking forward to seeing what your next creations will bring.

Thank you.
@Squiby My first international customer how could I forget you.
@nickdanger I thought you'd like that bit, apologies to anyone I missed I've genuinely no idea what I've turned and who has what.
@Hogni I'll get pics to you somehow.
@felon167inc Thank you. I'm sure there was something in there that took your fancy.
@Copacetic It's great seeing you make a start into this. You've got my number give me a bell anytime.

This stem was supposed to go thru another step but this Blackwood looked to good to use as part of an experiment.

Yep, would be nice. There were some beautiful stems you didn't post here up to now I'd also like to take to my Pinterest VC pinboard to share with the community. Do you still have my e-mail adress? Or perhaps better post them here directly to connect them to the pinboard?
There still are no wooden stems out there which can compare with your work, Grandmaster!

May I suggest that you pick out your favorite 5 stems. Then when you have PPs attention and your turn is coming up, choose two or three out of your tqip picks.

You'll save on shipping costs as well as the endless anxiety of picking just one from a plethora of beauties.

Yes, you can have more than one....just sayin'.
