OK disagree with me, I can't force you to be right
Don't forget the uncertainty of warranty coverage and repairs. Contact the vape company and see if they have authorized and are covering the "drop".

Check out some of the FC supporters too. Most give FC discounts, at least, and some, like PuffItUp will make every effort to price match, or at least come close. And you'd be getting it from a known reputable dealer. And as a bonus you'd get it a lot sooner. Due Diligence.

Can anyone speak to how massdrop handles warranty issues?

I bought my herbalizer off the first massdrop in June or July. It is having issues that make me think it is not adequately producing vapor. I contacted herbalizer because I had been under the impression that they we're honoring massdrop warranties but it appears as though that is not the case.

Anyone with similar experience?

I believe it mentions it on the massdrop site that massdrop can work out the warranty for you? Since massdrop bought the product it is them that have the warranty... So I think I remember reading that you can send it to them or something and then they will get it fixed through the actual warranty.

Massdrop has this on sale for the next few days for $129-$149. I'd like a summary of the pros and cons of it.
I did ask this on the Extreme Q site but I don't think that's the best place for questions like this. There are 300 pages to read through which is too much right now.

little maggie,

killick

But I like it!
Is a good multi purpose unit. A bit hard on herb, and a few glad pieces that some find hard to not break. That's s good price.

SSFG Hydraline on Massdrop. 159$ if it hits the lowest price.
..................................................................................

Can anyone comment on how their Hydraline works--if they like/ don't like it?

I'm a flavor chaser, looking for minimal diffusion and max flavor.
Want a little moisture added to vapor but retain max flavor.

thanks for the heads up on this Herr Dampf !

I got my Extreme Q about 2 years ago now. Not one problem, price! ,whip or bag, great vapor taste/ vapor clouds ,made by Arizer, remote ,and very easy to clean.
The only Con I got on extreme q is on fan speed 1 takes about 5 mins to fill a bag (turkey bag haha). Not a big deal thou just up the temp and fan speed

I've been along on the "Cloud" ride from the beginning and have 5 or 6 HTs. The Hydraline is my favorite.
Excellent flavor and not so much diffusion as to rob you of any of the effects. I kind of got lucky in that one of my ice pinches broke off into the tube. I fished it out, but now my Hydraline is carbureted! A nice small rubber plug fits nicely into the hole.

Thanks again

No problem.

Of course, the usual caveats apply. That is we're all different in how we use and what we use. This one is my favorite, but others have expressed other opinions (see the Cloud and/or EVO threads).

If you are looking for massive wasteful clouds I doubt this is the one you want.

But if you want maximum flavor and effect its at the top of my list. (FWIW)

RE: Hydraline

Thanks,
I strive to not see any wasteful clouds and want max flavor so this looks great.

Odd. I got an email from massdrop today about the pax saying they were offering it. They have closed that drop and also closed the Arizer Extreme Q early. No indication of what happened. I don't want either but it's still concerning. I'm saving for a Haze.

Maybe because people were asking Ploom about the 10 warranty offered by Massdrop.

Thanks for reaching out to Ploom Support! Massdrop isn't one of our authorized retailers so purchases made through Massdrop are not covered by the warranty.

Authorized online retailers include, but are not limited to www.ploom.com and www.vapeworld.com. The price of PAx just dropped to $199, which is a great deal!

We are happy to confirm whether an alternative online retailer is authorized, just reply with a link.

You can find a shop near you using our authorized store locator: https://www.ploom.com/locator/

Our distributors do not maintain a complete list of locations across the United States and Canada, but if you check out our store locator feature on Ploom.com and don't see a store you know of, provide the stores name, address, and phone number, and we'll let you know if they're authorized!

For warranty services it's not necessary to register your device with Ploom, but it is a good idea to create a Ploom.com account, should you need warranty support in the future.

Warranties for Pax and Ploom modelTwo do not apply should you purchase through a 3rd party reseller such as eBay, Amazon and Craigslist.

Please let us know if you should need any further assistance!

Best,
Carmelita

missed the pax drop , too . just curious - how much was it ?

and there's this -

Hi everybody,

We are not an authorized reseller of the PAX, but the vendor fulfilling the units is an authorized reseller. We've spoken to many industry contacts and the overwhelming response is that PAX will check the serial number of the product, and if it's valid, they will provide warranty service (without a bill of sale proving that you purchased it from an authorized reseller).

However, if for some reason they don't provide you with warranty service, our policy is to cover the warranty on our own. This is outlined in our FAQ under "Do you offer product warranties?"https://www.massdrop.com/faq

is massdrop warranty > ploom warranty ?

Not much of a price difference from retail, I'll rather buy from Ploom in this situation.

Edit: it was $169.00 I believe
