iPhone apps

Anyone care to share any cool iPhone apps? Doesn't have to be weed related, but a cool new app suggestion is always welcome.

I just got an app called "Frweed". I bought the pro version for 1.99. It is a database of marijuana strains. Although it only has 203 strains in its database so far, (I've already noticed some glaring omissions, notably Trainwreck) it's a pretty cool app. It shows the breakdown of Sativa/Intica %, as well as Origins, Smells, Medicinal use, and Effects. A cool feature is that it has ratings of each strain that you can override and add notes. It also has hi-res pictures of each strain. It's cool to have weed porn on your phone and I zoom in on the bud pictures and bounce them around the screen with my finger (I'm a child, I know).

What is a must have app that you have discovered?

I got the free version of Frweed. The pictures are awesome!! I gotta say my favorite app is the Free App Finder. I only broke down and bought an Ipod Touch because I couldn't stand seeing all those free apps out there. (I don't/won't own a cell phone.) I've only bought 4 apps, ones I already knew I liked.
Free Apps Finder

I paid a whopping 2.99 for Osmos, one of my favorite PC games beautifully done on the Ipod. A vaker game if ever there was one. Osmos

I just check the free apps finder any time I need a new app to play with, then if it sucks i can just delete it. Sure there are a lot of ad-ridden ones, but often there's a great ad-free app or 2 to be had.

I didn't want to start a new thread, but if you're like me and primarily download free apps (more like exclusively!) you might want to check your purchase history. I was charged for 2 apps that were supposed to be free. I reported the charges and they're being refunded. They must have looked at my purchase history and saw the 3 paid apps I got a year ago, then 112 free apps, then 2 paid apps. Anyway, I solved the problem, this also prevents inadvertent in-app purchases. I went into iTunes and changed my payment method to <none>. Now I have to put in my CC info to buy apps, but there's no way I'll be charged for freebies!

Hope this helps somebody.

I just picked up an app for a dollar or 2 called "The Night Sky".

You point your device at the sky, and it will tell you what each of the stars in the sky are.

It uses some combination of GPS, camera, compass, and gyroscope inputs.

One of the coolest apps I've found so far.

Asphalt 6 HD. Slick racing game with surprisingly good touch screen controls. Reminds me alot of Burnout for the consoles. The best mobile based game I've ever played thus far.

Order & Chaos is great if you like MMO's.

Jewellust. Good puzzle game. Columns mixed with Bejeweled gameplay. Straight crack.

I have an android based phone but I believe most of these are available for iphone too.

A must for me is garage band (6.99) But very worth it for hours of entertainment and music making fun. And if you ever get an ipad it will cloud over and im pretty sure it has more features like every other ipad app lol. Another must have for me was chrono trigger (9.99), a little pricey, but worth it for an old school rpg which personally I think is way better than any of the final fantasies 1-6.
And EVERY smart phone owner needs to have at least the free version of fruit ninja.

I really like Shazam - it's an app that will listen to a song playing for a few seconds and locate the song & lyrics for you - I've discovered a lot of bands with it + the radio. :p

I have a Bejeweled 2 endless game going, I'm at level 54 after several months of playing it...I've definitely gotten my $5 worth out of it (that's what it cost when I got it, not sure about now).

Instapaper is really great too, I can find an interesting article on the computer and read it on my phone later, it'll also strip out all of the unimportant stuff like ads.
