Happy Canadian thanksgiving!

this year 3 of our families got together for supper and we all shared the evening. I was sad that we were losing our tradition and there were a few people I wasn't really looking forward to see (I realize this makes me a bad person). but it was excellent! I got to reconnect with a few people, saw some familiar faces and was able to roam and wander. so while I missed my mom's bacon wrapped sausages... during the event they were not as missed because we were making new memories, and hopefully traditions :)

it kind of is much more what the spirit of what thanksgiving is all about anyways!

i was totally a shitty materialistic kid growing up and going to the mall was my idea of "fun" back in the day... and I am slowly turning into the person that I want to be. it's hard to break all the things (capitalist)society has taught me and I try to live a more humble life. I still like toys, but I'm working on it! :)
