Frosty Mug? No, Frosty Bong!!

Ice doesn't work too well in the bubbler. I was putting a water bottle in the freezer 30-40min before vaping, then using that water. Then the bartender in me decided to fill the bubbler, then stick the whole thing in the freezer for 30-40min. Its like hitting an air conditioner!! :D Anyone else do this? I think its far better than ice water. Try it if you haven't already!

I do the same thing! The super-cooled hits just can't be beat. I sometimes worry about fucking up my glass, but I'm pretty careful when I do it.

Ya I set the alarm on my phone if im already vaked. I worry that I'll forget and the water will freeze, expand, and crack my 6 arm. But im too worried about it to ever forget :p

I brought this exact subject up in the customized glass thread a few months ago. The consensus was that I shouldn't do it. But I still do. :brow:

if theres no water in it, a freezer shouldnt hurt quality glass.

and im sure if its a short time its fine with the water :o

i always forget about doing this but thanks for reminding me :peace:

I wouldn't do that with lower quality glass, but if it's tempered there should be no problem

Nope, no problem doing it with good quality glass.

And when winter comes, well then it's snow bong time!

Guess it wouldn't make a difference if you put it in with water or not. I change my water daily (and iso clean weekly) so I'll have to start putting it in empty.

And I agree I would not do this with thinner cheaper glass.

Anyone who hasn't tried it must do so. I'm not exaggerating when I say its like hitting an air conditioner!

It would matter if the glass was ice cold and you poured water in it the temp change could easily crack the glass

I would put a cold water bottle in the freezer when I put the bubbler in. But I would never put room temp or warmer water in to a frostybong.

I'll prob just stick to putting the bubbler in with water in already.

Totally hooked on doing this!

I used to keep my bubbler in the fridge between uses... that way it produces continuously cool hits without any concern of forgetting it in the freezer, don't want to accidentally crack that glass.

Great idea! I'll try that next time and see if it's up to par on frostyness :)

awesome idea, especially since my fridge has a "chilling" compartment, adds an extra week of shelflife on milk it seems.
that would be perfect :D

I've been keeping it in the fridge over the last few days. Works great! I occasionally "flash freeze" it and throw it in the freezer for 10min before a sesh

VAPOLITICS!
So:
1/ I only use Brita filtered water both for my water and my ice!
2/ I put in the freezer: my silicone whips, my bubbler with/or without water, my AquaVape without water, my ice of course, and my Brita from time to time to flash freeze it!
3/ I always have a bottle of filtered water in the fridge: to switch to cool water in a snap, to wash my glass with no water stains, and to have NO chlorine flavor!
