Forget mangoes. New cannabis 'enhancer' kanna?

Kanna is enhances just as much tobacco is.. IMO there is no enhance of the cannabis related effects.. it just adds new effects to the scene.. Mangoes do boost cannabis effect.. (we all know or can check google why).
So someone would say that 3 beers or 2 shots of whisky would will make them higher or stonier.. whatever.. but getting more smashed or high does not means that you are increasing THC/Cannabinoids effects..
I find Kanna most effective while eaten on capsules or getting the original kanna sniff :) ..

Where does one get high quality and effective supplements like this? What do you look for, kanna extract? Sceletium tortuosum extract? Mesembrine? I want to see what this stuff is about.

^I doubt it, maybe some high end mango juice from wholefoods or traderjoes.

Also can someone link me to some kanna for US? Do you guys just mix a little bit with the weed when vaping or chewing on it while vaping? I would rather not combust.

Give Kratom a try. It's what I use when I am low, or have an out of control panic attack. Here is some info if you haven't read up on it already:

Just be mindful that you are not supposed to take it every day due to the possibility of becoming dependant (I hear similar to caffeine dependancy, a bit stronger)

thanks for the suggestion, i'll have to put that on the list.
although dependency is bad and kinda what i'm trying to steer away from.

Understood...I'm a pretty easily hooked kinda guy, and I've managed to use it only when needed. It feels awesome, but tastes so bad, I don't really look forward to it :D Opinions on how hooked you can get vary, with the majority saying it makes you feel like poop for about a week if you overuse it and then quit cold turkey.

I limit myself to twice a week max, and mostly just when really needed. You could also look into Damiana if you haven't. Just be careful with any herb you try, if you are on any sort of anti-depressant.

gotcha. i am not too easily hooked, but i play the game carefully. nasty tasting stuff wouldn't be high on my list, either, tho, so i'd probly be safe to use it as i wouldn't want to take it unless necessary
i don't take pharmies for general mood stabilization. too unpredictable. far ranging reactions to different types. prozac made me twacked out like i was on speed. neurontin and wellbutrin did nothing. serontin made me feel like i was on a dirty weak ecstacy high. clonazepam was great (as most -zepams are) but dependency and REAL short term and long-term memory loss are huge problems. seriously, i lost a whole month, but had zero stress.
fuck all that noise.
cannabis has by far been the most effective, however 20 yrs in and 2 yrs into oil and i have a tolerance that puts most non-professionals to shame.

sounds like
EDiT - and i have no idea how that was supposed to end.
thanks again for the recommendations, tho

Please feel free to PM me as well, Bob. I have been treating my depression w/ Kanna for aprox. 10 years.
There are several sources that I would vouch for: KTbotanicals, Shaman's Garden, IamShaman, I have been the SSRI route as well. The herb Holy Basil is good for general calm, L-theanine is also quite efffective for removing the "background noise" from one's head. Damiana is a fantastic synergistic herb w/ MJ. I know of zero dependance issues with any of these herbs. Kanna over-indulgence can cause serotonin poisoning which I think I stated in another thread here.

Good to know about Kratom, thanks. I have plans to try Kava and Kanna in tea and see how that turns out after I vape.

I'de be interested in hearing from anyone that has been able to get off their anti-depressants completely with the help of some of these herbs. Always looking for ways to be free of meds, and the mary jane is not something I can afford with enough regularity to keep me stable.

Feel free to PM.

Well my knowledge is not medical... but for sure MAOI's help.. Passion flower ,Saint John's worth,Paganum Harmala,Psychitia Viridis ,Damiana... Some are weak some are strong so you should take cautions with dosage and food diet.. to avoid Hyper serotonin syndrome (idk how exactly it is called ..)

yeah, longer term and regular usage will most likely cause at least mild physical addiction. For me it never really got worse than a somewhat uncomortable restless legs type feeling. I stopped taking it after a while because it eventually stopped working well at my customary dosage and didn't want to go down a slippery slope. It's nothing as shady as prescriptions, but i think if you were to really abuse it you'd get more of a physical addiction too...

that said, i just ordered some for the first time in about 2 years and have been enjoying it, just not sure if i really ought to go back to regular use. Although, it may help keep me off the booze, which I've been overdoing a bit lately. I arguably am more comfortable being on kratom, even physically addicted, than to drinking as much as I have been.

I'm from South Africa, sceletium is indigenous here, can be gathered in vast amounts in the desert areas nearby to my home town and is farmed commercially by a few too.
I've never found it enhances the marijuana experience, but they can combine well. For someone who lacks energy or drive whilst stoned it would be ideal, it's appetite suppression qualities can help someone who suffers from intense stoned hunger lol.
To be honest I don't enjoy it though, have never tried vaping it (I will, all in the interest of science:tup:), but found all other methods of administration to be accompanied by a distinct and unpleasant taste.

Oh, and for the dude who was upset about getting lots of stalks in his bag, unless I remember incorrectly the active ingredient is more concentrated in the woody stalks than green leaves, so you didn't get a bad deal!
