Who can possibly forget a mango? So juicy and delicious...
i love mangos too...
Not sure if everyone knows this but mango skin contains urushiol, which is same chemical that poison ivy and the like have.
take care when handling them if you are particularly sensitive to it.
i wish i knew this before i was trying to eat the last little bit out of the skin and got a rash that started on my lips and spread from there (i'm extremely allergic to it).
i'm hoping by spreading this i can save people the experience
So what you are saying is...it is a poor choice as a balm for ones groin?
lol you can say that again
not to get too personal but I ended up going to the bathroom with the urushiol on my hands and....
I find myself trusting what you guys say a lot more than others on the web. So in that case I was wondering if you guys could help me find some herbs that will help with anxiety and depression. I refuse to take a prescribed medicine and have been fighting doctors for years about it. I think the mind is way stronger than we think it is but a little herbal boost can't hurt. All of you seem pretty knowledgable about the subject and since I just moved to Georgia I can't seem to find any cannabis. I'd love to have some of these herbs in my garden as well.
Kushmangoes, sticks started this thread regarding legal herbs that can be vaped. There are a few suggestions there, including chamomile for relaxation.
more then a person might want to know about urushiols
http://www.bolthouse.com/product/amazingmango Was only 2.29 at my LGS (local grocery store) lol
i'd love to know it's myrcene content
I hear ya! My friend is looking into making mango as well as black pepper extracts! The drink has no mention of the terpenes content only mentions 1 3/4 mangos, 1/2 banana, 1 3/4 oranges, 3 apples. No genetically modified ingredients. Taste is great, way cheaper than buying the fruit seperatly too!
I hate to say it with all the mango love here, but I strongly dislike mangos. I know, I know, blasphemy! I'm sorry in advance, BUT does anyone think something like this http://www.amazon.com/African-Compl...I41C/ref=pd_sim_sbs_hpc_4/182-1803581-7134934 would work instead of having to eat them?
I've Also been curious in enthtobotanicals which can relieve symptoms of anxiety and depression.
Kanna is like an SSRI & can help these ( but can be overused. & I just read chamomile can relax
I don't know much about many herbs yet but have heard about ppl using damania, kava, & hops. Would those provide some anxiety/depression relieve or other beneficial symptoms if not abused?
Vaping Kava works well for me for social anxiety at least for short periods of time like an afternoon or evening around a large group of people and such. I don't do well in crowds.
Kava does make these times much more tolerable then a Xanax for me.
I haven't vaped any other herbs except MJ, chamomile tea seems to work just to calm down and relax in the evening but for me it could just be the ritual of sitting down with a hot cup of tea that works.
What form of Kava do you vape ? Have you tried the Kava Extract ?
I'd like to know what your vaping. Have a link? Im especially interested in whether it will help me with social anxiety.
I vape dry ground kava root. I don't have a link now, but it comes in whole root or pieces to make Kava kava drink you would have to buy by the pound I think, around $40 US. I was lucky to get a few ounces from someone that bought a bunch to make the drink, I didn't get to drink any but I do like to vape it now and then.
you do have to grind the root and its a bit tough but doable. I don't really know about vapable kava extract being readily available.
