Let me know, but I just sent the link to someone else here looking for ELBs, and they informed me that they are cheaper even with shipping. For reference, I ordered a 4 pack from VXL a month ago or so...here was the price breakdown:

    Subtotal : $19.99 USD

    Shipping : $9.15 USD

    Total : $29.14 USD

and right now, 1 British Pound Sterling equals 1.60 US Dollar.

Wow not bad.... Vapefiend charges for shipping within the UK but offers free shipping to any international address, so it's gonna be just over $19 all said and done! Crazy!

Weird business model if you ask me but fine by me if I don't have to pay shipping! :D

I just bought some from Vapefiend and it cost me $22.14 US with conversion (paying via PayPal) including their free shipping. Last time I bought from VXL it cost me $28.64 with shipping. Definitely not a bad deal. I had to snag some up.

I was wondering how exactly it would work out. REALLY funny when you think about those poor little ELBs traveling from the US to the UK, and back to the US again, just cause it's cheaper??...and then the even worse off ELBs that will sit around getting sold less often here in the US, mostly being used for EVO packages, and those not in the know about "twice-shipped overseas ELBs," because for some reason it costs more to keep things in the country  :p

This will keep me up for a considerable amount of time before going to sleep tonight  It just doesn't make sense!

If it helps make any sense at all...

Recently I bought something for a really old computer from the guy in Germany that makes them. If you order it from within Europe, you have to specify what VAT area your country is in (i may be getting this all wrong, sorry to any europeans if i am :D) but no taxes of that sort were applied if you were ordering internationally outside Europe, and even with express shipping added on, it was still cheaper than from buying it inside Europe!

On top of that I'm sure retailers either get a ton and pay VXC back as they sell them, or more likely just get a bunch of a way lower price.

So when it comes down to it maybe they're making pretty much the same profit regardless of where in the world the retailer is and this one UK shop probably just covers the cost of really cheap shipping.

Just a heads up guys search "vapexhale screens" instead of "vapexhale ELBs" you will find a few retailers in the US that still stock them, one even has a working 12% off FC discount ;)

Its disheartening to see clouds being sold this cheap especially after all of VXC's work. But at least it'll get some people in the clouds who could normally not afford it

Yeah if they don't burn down their house or get electrocuted they may enjoy their cloud. Why would you buy a unit when you Know its fake or unsafe is beyond me.

How can you experience a cloud with a unit that was built to fail.

It's not that it's fake or unsafe.... also I really doubt they were actually built to fail, these were probably built incorrectly if anything and therefore should not be sold at normal pricing?

Yes I would rather have this money go to VXC but this way even if it dies on me quick, at least I can hold a Cloud in my hands and actually give it a try hands on. I've not wanted to drop the $$$$$$ on a VXC at retail price unless I had an opportunity to see, hold, use one in person, personally I think this is a fine opportunity for me to do just that.

Thats just how I'm looking at it. I'm hoping I'll like it and it'll encourage me to want to spend the money on an EVO because I've been really curious about VXC for a long time. But I've never wanted to make a purchase that big without getting to experience one in real life first.

I bought one too, couldn't resist.

The cloud really isn't my style I'm more of a small hit type of guy. But for the price I'm gonna chance it just to check one out. Not expecting a perfect unit, and if it arrives broken or faulty then paypal will have my back.

Chances are these are the same units that many people paid $500 dollars for.

Demand for Clouds/Evos are outpacing availability. Unfortunately these showed up and people want the Cloud experience and appear willing to "roll the dice". Everybody doesn't know SM55 like some members here do. Or should I say know of him. That he was a member here like us at one point. Many might not have read the old VXH threads to know how much he has helped our community, took input from us, and shared his journey on creating such a sought after vape.
That said, I cannot judge anyone who choses to buy one of these units. Many consumers are willing to take a gamble, if the price is right.

I have been lucky enough to be a part of the 1st Cloud release, and am eagerly waiting my pre-order Evo, so these are definitely not for me for my own personal reasons.

I'm glad somebody started this thread as I'm in the market for a tabletop vape and I came across this seller on eBay. I just got my Solo off eBay and I'm in love. Next on my list is between the SSV, Da Buddha, or Extreme Q. Now the general consensus recommends the SSV even though I like the digital temp on the EQ. Now, cloud wasn't an option before being way too much for my budget, but this guy has them super affordable and I would like to add one to my collection... As long as it works for a little while. This guy is from Detroit and seeing as they are bankrupt as hell I don't mind sending a little cash his way to try out this supposedly awesome device.

Has anyone received theirs? If so how is it?

Should I take the jump and buy one?

I can get the Cloud cheaper than SSV by about 90 and can have The Buddha for the same price. Any suggestions at this point would be greatly appreciated as time is limited an I'm at a stand still.

I really don't understand people purchasing these.

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but weren't the original Clouds that were produced by this particular manufacture proven to be faulty? And if this was the case, why would you now willingly purchase this vape without any warranty whatsoever?

The rationals that I've read here is, "Well, it was 500 dollars and now it's deeply discounted. How could I pass that up?" My question is, why would you willingly purchase a vape that has proven to have a reliability issue without any warranty, regardless of the price? You very well may have saved 350 dollars, but wasted 125 dollars.

I'd have a hard time buying an "iffy" vape WITH a warranty, but an "iffy" vape without a warranty? I don't like the odds.

But beyond this, I know the hard work and dedication that was put forth by SM55. I also know that he was burned by his original manufacturer. And now, to add insult to injury, he has to put with some yahoo dumping inferior product in the marketplace bearing his company name. That just doesn't sit well with me.

Isn't the cloud plus the newest model?

And wasn't vapexhale selling these models themselves at one point? And for $450?

Please correct me if I'm wrong. And I don't buy for the warranty when I buy a product it should just work flat out and that's it. That's why I don't settle on cheap shit. You'd think for $450 Vapexhale would have a good manufacturer and get it right the first time, just saying.

With "should" being the operative word here. ANYTHING can break, regardless how much you spend on it.

But what's kinda ironic with your post above is your statement that you don't settle on "cheap shit", yet you want to purchase a vape with known reliability issues without a warranty simply because it's........cheap.

Isn't it clear this particular manufacturer are scum? You really think VXC would knowingly go with such cheapskates, who burned them so bad for a little extra profit...

Well, IMO, if people who know what they're getting into purchase the Clouds from those people, it's better than someone who has no idea what they're getting into. They would receive the unit, and if/when it failed, VXL would get the bad name/reputation. At least if it's FC'ers buying them, they won't be getting out setting such a bad example.

The way I see it, is they're going to sell em at that price. Damage has been done.

It sucks but capitalists gonna capitalize.

A few people have sold potentially problematic Clouds used on this forum and I'm pretty sure the warranty is non transferable. Like Purp said, at least FCers know its a roll of the dice.

No. The Cloud EVO was designed to fix all the shortcomings of the Cloud. Hopefully that'll include long term reliability, which is where you'll have to keep your fingers crossed on this bargain basement deal.

Yeah. Original iPads are selling cheap now too.

I have my EVO, but I had to pick one of these up at $100 just so I can compare. If it works well then it will probably be stowed away for future use.
