I don't know anything either. Let's just call it the mkii or maybe Gen 5 Slim?

We're already dealing with the Gen 4 Le.

Why are you against us naming it the 6th Gen tip?
DV have never officially named any tips with any generational numerator.. And this tip is as different as many of the previous generational differences.
It's the 6th Gen and I'll smoke vape anyone who says other wise :p

In regards to the Ti tip discussion, I bought my Omni Ti the moment the 20% sale first started on DV website. About two weeks later I bought a Ti Blackwood woody S from PIU. The Omni came with the newer Ti tip and the woody came with the older one. They came with different caps as well. I have noticed a difference in the two but I’m not sure if it’s more in the different caps or the actual tips. The older tip seems to cool faster than the newer one IME, sometimes clicking before I am ready to finish my pull. I also feel like I get a little better air flow with the newer but this could also be due to using the Omni fully closed vs manually on the woody. The differences are pretty subtle overall but I prefer the newer tip for sure. I guess I should swap tips and do some more “testing”...

You guys and gals always make me smile, thank you! :)
That whole genX tip discussion, really... So nerdish. As if we would discuss whether a 11 or 11.2 months old Gouda cheese tastes better... ;) Yeah, I know. Connaisseur talk. But still... Love you all.

Not knowing when your order shipped or if you made any changes to it (which would delay it) your post suggests that all the 420 orders for Ti tips or Ti tipped VCs, even early ones, would have gotten the Gen6. Good. Mine was a late order so wasn't as informative.
Of course third party sellers like PIU would be shipping what they have which is more likely to be older stock (especially overseas vendors).

Hey, I haven't had a customer call all day so I am just sitting here on the web entertaining myself...

I normally wouldn't have time to go back 67 pages to find that first Gen6 post... 67 pages...

Man oh man. Whew...ok.
Just ran 2 bowls (at the normal screen setting) of some Blue Cheese I just procured,

Just give me some Cheese & a VC please! :spliff: (And maybe a cold one now & again ) The VC isn't known as flower dabber (& I'm not saying it is), but damn it if I'm not sweating just a little in this 70F° house.

I'm not opposed to it but I'm just trying to avoid confusion. They've said this isn't a new revision just an update.

It was answered in this thread I believe, before I went on hiatus.

oh lordy @stark1  @cybrguy :nope:

OTOH...

:smug:

I've been having fun playing Legos with a couple of vapcaps and I'm really happy with the outcome.

I put my 420 sale Ti MP and XL condenser into my '18 M using the M's tip and put the M's condenser into my Carbon Fiber stem with Ti tip and popped a Fat Mouthpiece on that.

I like the XL length, and now have three; these two 'new' ones and my Omni XL. Sweet

The tip generation discuss has led me to putting together a chronological post of the Titanium tip evolution. It all began in 2015 with some titanium prototypes...

George presents the subtle differences within and between the first 5 generations.

The current 6th gen tip with it's 5 thin chiseled fins and rounded valleys is shown on the website. I can't find the specific mention of it but I think I remember George introducing on one of the videos, but I can't find it. I think that it was introduced after the 18 M in March.

EDIT: Here's a reference to the latest 6th gen tip. Thanks @cybrguy!

Fucking Combustion (mostly) Since February 2017
I said it a long time ago and I'll say it again I think the 5 fin M and 5 fin Ti tips look too similar. There's nothing special about the looks of the top of the line tip when compared to the entry level. I'd like to see a bit more visual distinction between them besides the helical grooves that are hidden when the cap is on.

I happen to like that they look so similar. It it helps the lower cost SS tip not look "cheap".

I’ve had my vapcap M starter bundle for a little over a week now, n I gotta say.. DAMN! This thing is awesome! It’s deceptively efficient, and the flavor is amazing. I ordered the M bundle cus I was new to vapcapn, but I already can’t wait to build my own, n put my own personal twist to it..

Ahem, I was just wondering if anyone else ever.... It's something I've often thought about asking but always chickened out - it just sounds too weird.....I should really probably post in the "Random Thoughts" thread, but I feel more at home here....anyway, it is probably nutso, but do any of you get really fucked up Windows 10 / Android device behaviours when you are stoned? :D:D:D:D:D I can't speak for Apple users - you are of a different caste  But seriously, the system doesn't boot, or programs won't run? The things just refuse to obey commands....and everything is sooooo slooooow. Is there some sort of laptop goblin at play here?
There - I've said it. Please, no straitjacket :mental:
