Okay, what would you figure Crystal Mode temp 3 is on that scale of 300-780? What temps do you like to use with your cups?

I like to use temps 3 and 4 on Crystal mode, but I could dial it in better if I new roughly what that corresponds to.

If I could figure out 4.5 in C mode, that would be great! Big clouds to be had at 5, but a little hot, depending on how much I have in there.

With SiC or AlN I use the light blue (cyan), second or third light lit. 540f or so.

What kind of cup?
I have all 4 and they all require different temps to function at their best.
Quartz - usually anywhere in the high purple or blue 3 max
Sapphire - 4 blue or below depending on extract
Sic - up to 3 cyan
ALN - up to 4 cyan

Yeah thanks guys this is great! I have a quartz cup now but am looking to upgrade, if I could find anything used that would be great, but unlikely.

I sometimes see them for sale on entexchange discord but not often at all...
There are also sellers on Facebook that will sometimes have cups for sale.

Is it worthwhile to buy a Fadespace ALN cup used? I don't know what it should go for. I can get a new
Dabber one delivered for $90.

ALN is ALN so the difference between brands should not affect how it performs.
That said, I have the Dr Dabber one and it's a great insert!

If the FadeSpace one is cheaper and fits the Ti cups then go for it!
Easy to clean with a torch.

I think it's like 2 x more expensive! The one for the OG Peak is $175!

But, he sold it to me for $60, so it's $20 less than a new one, not that great of savings, but I'm ready to use that material and see how it compares to the quartz.

I use the quartz at low temps and it's fantastic!
The ALN is designed for hotter temps but it also retains heat longer.

Using the quartz up to about 4 Blue and the AlN up to 3 cyan in Crystal mode

This vape just works so effortlessly!

I think the switch is a great day rig maybe one of the best but the induction of herb is not my thing I wish it was a convection / hybrid for cannabis cause the black crusty Abv is not my thing
But to each there own

There are a few e-rigs out there that supposedly do both concentrate and herb, dual-purpose for some reason...
I have never tried herb in my Switch and never will!
I have dedicated herb rigs and don't want to be cleaning the Switch all the time to try and get that nasty smell out of it.

Tried it dry last night with some FSE and it was outstanding!!
4 blue with the sapphire cup in Crystal mode.

It’s usually the case most units of any brand do 1 thing better then the other the only vape that does herb and oil equally well in my opinion is the Vapexhale

Has anyone here had a dish get stuck inside a heating bucket and can't get it out? I have a Fadespace ALN cup stuck. I soaked it in ISO for 2 days but no joy. I just can't grab the edge of the tiny thing!

Yeah just lately. Been using an S-Tier and an SiC for couple of years
and just in the last month both are basically fused with their buckets.

I've tried soaking and I've tried heat.

Dr. Dabber really continues to piss me off.

They throw these great sales knowing full well that half or more of their products are out of stock. And they don't allow back-ordering.

Why bother having a sale if half your shit isn't available to buy?

They do it repeatedly.

Got my used switch in the mail on Wednesday of this week.

Took some trial and error over the past few days to get dialed in but I'm very impressed.

Using the AIN cup in crystal mode hovering in the low blues so far. Lots of vapor and good flavor too.

Pulled the trigger on some more accessories, I believe this will be my go to at home. Proxy for portability.

I do wish I had tried the switch earlier, I can tell this one is going to be with me for a long time.
