Do your taste buds report vapor as sweet tasting too?

I keep on getting a faint taste of sweetness with vapor... I think its setting off the sweet taste buds on the tongue.

What does your vapor taste like to you?

Tastes like the herb smells for the most part. Which is usually super sweet.

And last time I checked, my taste buds report smoke as acrid poison.

I agree on the "depends on strain" sentiment. But I also have to add that some growers use flavor enhancing additives, such as AN Sweet Leaf... Strains grown with such additives will have a very sweet, heavy flavor.

When I use the reg's in my PD I get sort of a mild citrus taste as if you were to bite into an orange peel and then it finished off with just a hint of mint. And it probably does depend on the strain.
