So what do you think .. Is it a a ti-nail sleeve for the heating element :).. and what could be the possible benefits of controling you ti-nail temp ? End of dab combustion ?

I think it's a TI sleeve you can kinda see it in the pic, ultimately I think it'd be preferred mainly because you lost the "big intimidating torch" aspect of it, however you did bring up a good point, with careful knob working I suppose you would be able to get smokeless dabs...

I don't think it's Ti. Looks like a glass sleeve that fits over the ceramic element. Still kinda cool.

GJ ! :) i wonder if that setup would work with other ceramic element hotsticks/vapes.. like hakko, herb iron, embyr, etc... and may be vaporbrothers ? (EV? )

i am totally thinking about getting one for my DBV!! i am just curious on how it will actually work and how the nail sits in the dome. does the ceramic element just keep the nail at a constant temp to allow you to dab after dab (if thats what you want to do)?? also.. for the knowledgeable people out there... they are allowing you to add a ceramic flavor disc for to the package. what would that be used for???

Hmmm, so it does come with a TI nail, very cool. Maybe they offer the disc for easier clean up? More even heat? Might not hurt to inquire, just incase it somehow helps the system work better. But I am assuming it is just an extra for those who want a ceramic surface. These discs are sold for the SSV as well, as a surface for oils.

I would be nervous about doing a true nail dab straight shot through a tiny little straw. It would be very harsh and you'd have a nice oilslick on your front teeth. With the ceramic pad I'd imagine this functions more like a healthstone pipe, minus the butane, that's very nice.

He probably means the little glass wand you can see sticking out. I think that would lead to the tubing, and would also hold the herb at the end under normal use.

My problem with this is all my experience with oils tells me to keep the total volume of the piece small, and to have a bit of water filtration. I don't know how this could hook up to water other than with silicone tubing, which I don't have much of a problem with... except additional surface area for the oil to stick to. Some people report less potent/flavorful hits from larger pieces/more water filtration as opposed to, say, a little Beer Glass/Bates x Worm/similar sized pieces.

Still, innovation is always welcome, and I love their approach!

you could have a really short tubing (say 1 foot?) going into a small bubbler so that your not dabbing from far away. But, do you think you could also load a bunch of herbs and get a blend of sweet flowery vapor and intense concentrated dab vapor?

EDIT: thinking about it, you definitely could, even if that wand doesn't have a screen you could simply replace with standard wand. . . interesting. Maybe tempereatures wouldn't match?

i already have a short tube that i use when i use my bubbler. it is a short tube and one end is my wand and the other is the WPA adapter for my bubbler. i love it and use it all the time. all i would have to do is make another short tube and use it on this new wand they have for this kit and it would be a perfect size for dabing with water.

as for the other part.... i don't see why you couldn't put a screen in the wand and mix dry herbs with a dab for what might be an awesome expierience... if you can get the temps right for both.

Be aware you are supposed to put the ceramic disk form 7th floor in the Ti Cup... not a nail!

We should have a few soon and will review.

    Please read:
    "
To finish the kit off, there is a small titanium cap that sits on top of your heater cover. Just drop a ceramic flavor disc and some flavored oil on top"
That "cap" is not a nail...it has the shape of the top cup of a nail, period! And it is shaped & design to put a ceramic disk in it...
