I find the D022 is better for dabbling than the smaller pieces.
2 - 3 dabs is sleep city.
Before bed this is my favorite piece!

Edit Added: Wouldn't it be nice to have the bubble wrap concession in China? Having ordered 2 pieces from SS now, it is more than clear that selling bubble wrap has to be extremely profitable there. I will never have to buy any again anyway...

anyone able to advise if there is a dividing glass seal made in this rig? can the bottom 1/2 of this rig collect earl?or be used as an A/C,by switching the position of the glass cap?. I have a Bingo PD hard case special double shower head and it has the same type of config. but there is a dividing seal of glass so it cant be used as an AC nor does it collect the precious earl, if any FC member has recently purchased and can advise ,many thanks

If you put a nail on the top facing male joint and the reclaim cup under it, there is no place it seems to put the included mouthpiece since the other end is female, plus the male-male end feeds into the can too high for that config. Reclaim cup under the MP doesn't make sense either. That's the part I don't get. Sorry, I can't answer your question. Also, pictures help, so here:

Looks to me like an ashcatcher with options (no dividing seal). Use the female doint as the "input", and choose one of the male joints as the "output". I don't believe that's a "reclaim cup", just a downward facing joint to use as a traditional ashcatcher. Use either male joint with a MP or J hook, plug the other one.

Lol you must be reading my mind, already had the hitman knockoff added to my cart, im gonna go with that first one I posted and ill do a review here when I get it since nobody has posted one yet

I have a ratchet perc (D020-T) and it works very well!
The skulls are a nice touch!

I've noticed a few of this style ash catcher, and then searched high and low for one with a functional reclaim jar on the inlet instead of the mouthpiece side. Also looked for a bubbler with it built in. No luck anywhere, and I can't figure out why none is making anything like it (Sunshinestore please!!) Will take some careful design to have it work properly though.

For all the people confused by this piece, it functions as either an ash catch or a bubbler. It is not a claim catcher. If you put the cap on the bottom joint and the neck on top joint it is a bubbler. If you put the cap on the top joint it becomes an ash catcher

I am not sure if Toro was the first to make this kind of thing, but they were the first ones I saw.


I was always very freaked out by the lack of joint support. I had a friend spend like $250 on one of these and he only had it for 4 hours before disaster
