Calling all vapor researchers

Figured this didn't really fit in the suggestion box or Vrip wand thread so made a new one. More deep thoughts from Mark at Vriptech.

I love your forum and believe it is providing a valuable service to the culture. I do have a recommendation though: Add a section (should be required reading for members) on how to intelligently evaluate the quality of the vapor itself that differentiates between what is method and process/vaporizer based and what is quality of medicine based. That is introduce intelligent criteria to evaluate vapor as a divergence from the common hyperbole i.e.: 1. flavor, 2. purity (clean or smoky), 3. density (full body but still clean???), 4. breadth of spectrum delivered per inhalation (flavor first, actives with some flavor, actives with dry flavor---the transition between these qualities pull to pull), 5. Thermal and Humidity value, inhaled as dry and warm, dry and cool, moisture conditioned, ice cooled, etc. In my opinion there is so much emphasis on the equipment and the method and process that most people are losing sight of the objective: the VAPOR ITSELF! When assessing a "vaporizer" there should be a focus on the "vapor" that often seems neglected in my opinion.

Just some thoughts...I will stay posted...will look forward to seeing what the boards think about the wand.

Interesting. IMO the vapor, and the quality of the hits are THE most important thing. I mean, I get bigger hits from my box vape but the PD produces better quality hits and the vapor quality is very consistant.

I'm pretty sure the Vrip gear produces some of the best quality vapor along with big fat hits. But until Mark brings out a Euro version (230-240v) I wont be getting one

Lots of subjectivity there. Something like this would be interesting with a panel of people all evaluating the same product with the exact same hardware.

a vaporist's hand book would be great with scientific experiments/facts for every vape on the market. i would buy a book
I help with the research. But I don't come cheap :ko:

i would never buy a book written by this shitty vapir maker.....i'm sure he will state that the best vape is his own vape and that you need plastic to inahle the best vapor.....be aware from disinformation....
I know the aromed makers made a book about phito-inhalation and seems a serious book but in german.
Experience teach us a lot....the more you inhale the more your taste sense get sensitive(right max?) and your brain can state...yes this vape works like a dream or this is a crappy one...all about experience...we don't need scientists to say if you like something or not!

Too bad mark doesn't post around here. I'll get email responses that have some good info that I want to share but have a tough time fully graspin the breadth of the info and cannot fully articulate it back to he forum. Whether or not glass on glass setups offer substantially or marginally higher quality of vapor, I respect his dedication and research that he has done in the area of vapor purity

I for one love anything about vapor (and vapor research) This site itself is a testament to vaporist's experiences and with each new model specific thread a general list of truisms from the use of the devices start to form. General methods of use, which temps and techniques and mods work best. I'd love to read more posts from members and their various experiences, successes, failures, and work arounds. I guess it sounds a lot like the Vaporpedia pages, but still sounds cool nonetheless. (I must be high or something...)
