so where is everybody getting their solos from? starting to regret selling my solo, its was perfect. but after a bowl full of hash it was very hard to say no,hahaha

I find I like the straights stems. They are better imo than the elbow ones.

maybe i am just a terrible searcher, but i haven;t found a good comparison to the extreme by arizer. is it similar, only smaller and whip style only? are any parts interchangeable?

can't really compare the 2 since they are so different. if portability is even a slight factor i would go with the solo.

thanks guys for the recommendation, prolly go with planetvape since i will have to order a new stealth adapter too.

well i like the way the straight stem fits a little tighter in the ss bowl.

I also like the stealth factor more. Seems easier to conceal with the straight stem.

My m106 Solo on "2" setting for the win!

My Solo almost always runs on 2, but danced for a few days on 3 and 4 last week. Setting it to 3, and especially 4 willl pump out as much, or more vapor, than I can pull - which is good - if I am in a super rush. However with 2 - it tastes TOO FUCKING GOOD and it gives out the exact effect/symptoms I am looking for.

I can't seem to get the same feeling on 3 or 4?

If only there was a 2.25... so I could try it out

Got my M107 with the power adapter today from vapornation so I no longer have to wait for a re-charge! Once the replacement battery comes for M105 I'll post some battery swap pics! Hopefully thats all the old unit needs

Fashioned 2 screens into a metal tea-bag deelie,

would love to see a picture of how you do this. the stems bowls are so small I imagine one screen taking up most of the room in the bowl, so i can't imagine how you get two in there.

I sandwich my herb between stainless screens, so the particles don't drop into the bowl, and I only load it about half way and that keeps me more medicated than I need to be at one sitting.

or a picture of this setup would be cool too. i just got my M107 two days ago from PlanetVape. i don't have any screens yet (i have some coming from them as well that i should have next week) and i would love to see how you guys are using them in such a small bowl that the stems have. i am a "visual" learner and a "picture is worth a 1000 words" to me.

either way is fine, honestly i never had a problem with the bowl getting too dirty. i think i've only wiped it down like twice in all the months that i have had it. normally after a session i just bowl out any herb in the bowl and thats it,

I wipe mine with Iso q tip too, just don't get too much iso on there, it doesn't take much, and I don't think it needs to be warm, the iso devolves any residue, but I am sure it can't hurt. I just think the most important thing is to not get liquid in the air holes.

Just had a horrible experience. Was pleasantly vaping, 12 minute beep went off, reset it, and it won't heat up. Completely recharged it, and it still won't heat. The only thing different I can think of was that i was using the external power adapter. It had been working, now nothing, agghhh.....

Allow me to say hello, fellow Solo owners. I just became a new Solo owner yesterday evening. Received the latest model M107 from Vapeworld, great service, and price. They got it to me next day(shipping was free and Solo 20% off). Charged it full before using it. Noticed a slight "rattle" without any glass stem in, when shaken slightly. Almost like something not attached properly inside or maybe the battery pack wiring loose. Obviously if it is not common I would like to return fr another one, but the "rattle" noise itself is not terrible, just something making noise. Happens powered on/ off, full charge/ lo charge. Also had the stem not fitting issue, which made me crazy until I came and READ the forum and Vaporpedia entry, and saw how to resolve. I used a little pure coconut oil around edge of stem. So I solved one issue and didnt see aything on a rattle when shaken issue. Here are a few questions/ things maybe someone can clear up, that I was hoping to ask.

1) I was hoping to seek the wisdom of this forum to see if I have a Solo that needs to be returned or no problem/ normal noise, regarding the slight "rattle when shaken" noise I am hearing. Again this is a brand new m107.

2) Any M107 owners with robo-fart smell that did go away on its own? I have used it or just let it heat up, for about 20 uses/ sessions so far. But I can clearly identify with the stink that many others have mentioned. Without it, this Vape would really taste excelent not just good. I am going to try the lesser of remedies and try a ISO wipedown first and maybe burn a full charge on level 7 till almost run out of battery. Then I will try to bake top cap thing.

So far I do like this and definitely see why those who love em, love em, and also see why it received some of the negatives as well. Mine heats up real quick. Seems hot enough to choke me every now and again. I guess if I can get rid of electronics/ robo-fart smell, my enjoyment will increase, if not, I have 30 days to return, and will if smell doesnt lessen. 65% happy with the Solo so far, resolving rattle and acrid scent will definitely push me over 95% happy.Will post standard review once I get a little further into this. Definitely has potential and my interest is peaked, BUT thank goodness I still have LSV to fall back to. Still the best IMHO.

what setting are you using when you vape with it? Does the smell remain when it's cool, or just when it heats? I have the m107 ss and have no issues with it.
