Yep, she's a winner! If cooler vapes is your goal, this style cooler works.
Works well. The solo stem slides up into the male end of the cooler.No need for
a silicon baind on the stem. The depth of the joint, and the good surface contact
make the solo draw a lot better. You can easily overvape your pulls, I am, and I just did.

I just charged up the SS and heat cycled on #7 for 2 complete cycles to burn off the newness and gave it a try. Draws nice but only concern is the loose stem is different to get used to with the swiveling about. Good thing is I can put the tight cap over on the SS and really do some comparison.
I am off to double down solo (oxymoron), Willeh style. Then a bit of milk befo bed and I'm good
to go.
Oh yeah, working on something better than mother's milk. Oyster stew that oily stem in a sauce pan. First you gotta like oysters. Do it on an empty stomach cuz with the solids in there it will likely come on slower so you will have to figure out if you want to dose at two stems or one.

Though they do have the new solo SS model available for purchase now, they claim it is 299.99, and I've seen authorized dealers selling the solo for 199.99. Also, THEY HAVE THE NEW STEMS AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE!!! Does anyone know of any authorized dealers who have the SS solo model in stock / for sale for 200$?

Haha I was just going to say I didn't even think they sold those yet! Oh well, I'll cough up the 10 to get one direct from them!
I got another idea for this broken straight stem now. Going to try and get my friend who blows glass to make it way shorter and beefier and put a 19mm male joint on the end. That way I can have a sturdy WPA and also it will be awesome for a vertical vapor tamer!

Cause I still reckon, done the right way such a joint may make the solo compatible with the clouds hydratubes.
and that puts a heap of lead in my pencil!

The latest experiment with dairy products. Cappucino made using resined Arizer stems.
First the coffee. I use a six cup Stainless moka pot. Grind Trader Joe's House Blend beans at expresso setting, Brew as usual.
For the dairy I use 1/2 2%, 1/2 half and half filling my Frabosk cappucino frother half way. Put thermometer on vessel and heat on range to about 185 F. Stir stem(s) vigorously in heated dairy then put the top on with integral whisk and operate to produce froth.
Assembly. Distribute coffee evenly into two large mugs. I also added to each a teaspoon of raw sugar. Scoop froth into each mug then pour the remaining liquid. Yields two large mugs.
Next time I try this I will make sure to have some biscotti on hand. The cappucino itself tastes as amazing as it normally does.

I took an awl (or you could use a thin nail) and with gloves and the slightest tap of a tack hammer was able to put a hole in the bottom of the aroma stem. No control though on the resulting size of hole. I ended up with 1/4 inch hole. Put a domed stem in the herb compartment and loaded the double bowl with herb. Due to the excessive hole the results were disappointing.
Whatever comes about in experimental glassware I think the Solo capability may be limited to the existing bowl size. At least IMO we have figured out that the standard size bowl should remain and any custom glassware probably should be built starting from that basis.
Sure would like to try the 3 hole stem soon.

Wow I didn't even think of the hydra tubes! Honestly it's going to be a pain to get it made for me, and the only reason I'm even able to make it is cause my old stem broke so I'll have that to work with.
Those hydratubes are probably going to be spendy though... I was thinking I'd just use it straight into my WPA, but it would be cool to have a vertical vapor tamer as well.

So far very mild, my stems were only lightly soiled. Next time I try this I may take a different approach. I have about four ounces of grain alcohol previously used for cleaning. It is a little lighter than milk chocolate in color. I am thinking of flaming off the volatiles before incorporating the dairy (no problem since I have a propane torch in the kitchen). Stop by the 7-11, QT, or fav coffee shop and get yourself a tall pumpkin flavor cappuccino that's always big in Oct in US. Drop in your stem and a pat of butter and with the lid off micro for 30 sec. You want to bring it just to a boil. Let cool a bit, stir, sweeten if need be, cap it up and off to work.

How do you think microwaving the gunked stems prior to immersion would work? Would have to remove the screens first.
And if you are a coffee snob (I am), 7-11 won't cut it. Their coffee is swill. This process may also require the higher fat content of whole milk or half and half.

Anyone else notice the Solo produced much more pungent weed smell compared with other vape? I used it at my mom's house tonight, in a room with door closed, and she can still it from the living room. 
Are you referring to the vapor? No different than any other vape if you are, but otherwise if it's the actual unit you need to swab the bowl with a dry qtip or with a touch of iso to clean the ABV. You'll notice your qtip is brown. That will make the difference from smell to no smell, at least it did for me.
