Sorry, no photos. 2clicker's right. Just a bit of silicone tubing is all it takes.

A little bit of 7th floor tubing will fit around the solo stem, and the base of the aqua vape.
I also have some medical grade silicone tubing, with the same O/D as 7th floor, but a slightly thinner wall, and hat also fits well.
I can see if I can take a pic a bit later.

i havent been in this forum in a minute, but i thought that the newer robots were not farting...?

im close to ordering one, but def dont want it if its gonna smell like that

I have good news!!!

Cleaned my solo with cotton swaps and iso (just the upper side), used the solo the whole evening with friends and the disturbing robot-fart/electonic-plastic smell is now gone!

Will keep my solo and will not bring back it to my friends headshop as I said yesterday

Hello fellow Solo users,

Its been quite a few months since I wrote my review of the solo here http://www.fuckcombustion.com/threads/arizer-solo.3833/page-35#post-162255 I have an m 102 and have been using it since the last 6 to 8 months. It has a ceramic bowl which has chipped and does give off some smell. However, the Solo still is the winning portable vape in my books. I have been trying to get in touch with Arizer wondering if my Solo chipping is covered under warranty, but havent received a response from them after 2 mails.

So now I have been looking for another vape, and from what I see in the market, I think I will get another solo. So for the more updated people here, I have a few questions:

I dislike the tight draw of the solo. I used my NO2 over the Solo just to have a relaxed draw. Does the 4 hole stem improve the draw? Does the new SS bowl improve the draw?

Has anyone faced any drawbacks of the SS bowl compared to the ceramic?

Do I specifically need to order for a SS bowl version or are all bowls SS now?

Well thats a lot of questions Hope someone can help

About cleaning the stems, I have had incredibly dirty stems, dunno if its because of the kind of herbs I use or its because I just vape too much. I have tried everything possible, Isopropyl Alcohol, salt, vinegar, boiling, long term soaking, etc. Nothing has ever come close to the performance of my Ultrasonic cleaner! I recently got one from Amazon to clean my ecig attys and used it to clean my Solo stems. Earlier half my stem was nearly opaque with gunk, and now it looks like I just bought a new one! Seriously its that good! Just use some dishwashing liquid soap with it and give it about 5 cycles.

Hey Darco, don't give up. They can only ignore you if you let them. You purchased a vape with a warranty- insist upon using it you feel that your vape is visibly faulty. They can't argue flaking is not a warranty issue. Although by the sounds of it I'd now expect to be paying the shipping both ways. I certainly wouldn't be buying another from them just because they ignored your issues with the first- that's rewarding bad service.

I think they're all SS now. I have to be honest I have both 2 and 4 hole stems and I don't really care which pick up. 4 hole is a freer draw, but I don't find the differences all that significant- they both work adequately.

420 cleaner will do the same job in 1 minute if your not interested in reclaiming

Cutlery tray in the Dishwasher for me. Chuck it in at night and I don't even have to think about it.

My M105 came from easyvape on amazon, used for a few days and battery would not charge. I was misled by the claim that they had "the latest units" for only $160, same pic above and everything.
Do yourself a favor and spend the extra $ to get it from one of the more respectable sellers like vapornation.

The 105 still works fine on the a\c adapter for heating, just waiting on a battery to replace the old one. Also the 107 does seem to have better air flow, feels like your not sucking as hard to get the clouds you like!

Not sure on how long the life is, but there is a way to replace it when it does fail. There were a couple of folks here saying they were going to replace and make a video or take pics of the process in the last few days, so stick around if you want to see the process, if they actually do post about it. I found the replacement battery on Amazon.

wat how dirty are your stems when you use the dishwasher?

Nowadays I do it quite regularly and so they're fairly clean when they go in- it usually get's it totally sparkling clean like this. I have put them in when they're filthy as well- occasionally it won't get it totally spotless, but it's normally well softened bits of plant matter and just rinses out with water.

VERY cool BUT what stem did you order on PV??? What exactly is it called??? And does it work on any Bong basically??? What Bong is that in the Pic??? Did you get everything to do the from PV??
If so what all do I need(part numbers, names) to make the same thing...

Oh and you had a MFLB.... How do you rate the solo vs the MFLB???? I am hoping the Solo is a replacement for my MFLB...

just go under the solo accessories and it should be in there. the come in 14mm and 18mm gong. I also recommend getting the stealth adapter too.

Wow they are all on Back order.. Hate to ask another Noob question but do I get the 14mm or the 18mm gong? How do I know?

the gong size is the size of your hole in your bong where you put your slide/bowl. if its the size of a nickel its an 18mm if it like a dime its a 14mm. i hope that is easy enough to understand.

if you really wanna be safe get a reducer or an expander to.
if you get a 14mm get a 18mm to 14mm reducer, then you can use on both size.
if you get 18mm get a 14mm to 18mm expander, and you can use on both.
or just get both 14mm/188mm gongs

Oh I see you also have(had) a MFLB... So now that my Solo is on order from PV I am very excited to find out if it will replace my MFLB??? I assume you like your Solo a lot better than your MFLB??? What do you like better???

as you can see its retired, i keep it for sentimental reasons, hahah i could never get huge hit from the MLFB, it did get me stoned but for me it was alot of work just to get ripped. plus i hated carrying around a pocket full of batteries, i really wanted to love it but never did.

the solo on the other hand is cake to use. turn on set temp and rip away, i get huge clouds without even trying its a real monster of a portable. i converted a few smoker to vaporer ( is that a word) hahah, with the solo. it handles groups of people like nothing else. its a beast and i never leave home without it.

Sweet exactly what I was hoping.. I too had the same issues as you with my MFLB... But it does hold a special place in my Heart and I too will keep mine.. LOL
