Hey everyone, I know this isn't the best forum for smoke related stuff but hopefully someone can help... I lent my custom bubbler out to a mate who is a huge fan of smoking. I hardly smoke at all anymore (mainly just hash) so i totally forgot about leading the bubbler.... Fast forward 3 years...

I'm a huge TPBs fan...I did think the last series was abit meh but the rest is pure gold. Fav eps are "Conky" and "The Green bastard" :D

Thanks very much for the info nysuperscum...been in touch with Pammy/Tom and we have narrowed it down to my power pack :) Tested with the Car adapter socket over the weekend and had my first "real, full powered" PD hit...WOO HOO this little unit rocks! Off to the store today to get a new power pack!

I have noticed this...Sensi Star in my PD (I'm having some temp issues at the moment) gives me a soaring sativa type high. Using my Vriptech setup at normal temps I get a very heavy indica stone feel inspired to play around with my heatgun heat settings and some different strains tonight!

At the moment I'm really enjoying Sensi Star and White Berry (both from paradise seeds) plus The Church from Greenhouse. The Sensi Star is mind blowing strong, great for melting into the couch after a long day! Got some Nebula to try during my next run :D Sadly some of the best herb i have...

HmmmSadly Im not getting this from my PD :( It almost seems like my PD isnt getting hot enough and after doing some experimentation Im beginning to wonder if its my power pack. I am using some older 12v 1amp power packs I had kicking around the house and seem to get different results with each...

graywulf - Yes mate, just a glass heat proof dish...Find the glass is easier to see the oil when scraping it up :D

I must be doing something wrong because I find my Vriptech setup is more efficient...My PD herb comes out only ever so slightly brown (yes it dry, yes the PD has been on for more then 45mins) and I can actually re-vap it in my Vriptech setup. Sorry...totally off topic

I use the purple bottle that came wth the PD to clean my stems...Just drop the stem in, fill about half way with Iso and shake for a min or so. If they are really clogged then just leave to soak over night The left over Iso solution is rich in honey oil and is worth keeping...Pour the solution...

This has most likely been covered already but i couldn't see it leafing thru this thread... How does the VHW compare to the original heatgun/VCB setup? I currently have a HG1100/VCB/VWT Pro setup and am trying to decided if i should get a VHW or just stick with the heatgun

Lol?it has been a long time :lol: Its a bit hard to compare the two Max given its been 4 odd years since i last plugged the Eterra in... From memory i do think the Eterra was a little hotter then the PD as it seemed to brown the herb from day 1...but it hard to say as I don't think i'm using...

Hey max, thanks for your info...:) I have left the PD on since my last post (two days?) and i have noticed the herb is getting browner, producing bigger hits...:D Not sure if needed a "run in" but its working 100%...Love this little unit! Been vaporizing for about 7 years now...actually...

Cheers for the info Chubba...I did notice this morning that the spent herb was a looking a little browner after leaving the unit on all night. Maybe there is a "run in" period for the heating element before it reaches peak temp? Do you leave your PD on all the time? 24/7?

Well I'm very happy with the unit after putting it thru its paces last night... :D one quick question....How green is other people's herb after putting it thru the PD? Mine is coming out very green unlike the vriptech heat gun setup which give the herb a slight brown colour.
