Is it ok if the VHW is turned up all the way? The ceramic glows orange, is this too hot? Has anyone left their unit on for extended periods of time at a high setting? I had an older VHW that cracked due to the manufacturing problem that has been fixed, but I don't want to put the new one...

Yep and it works well. I just really like hooking it up to glass I can stuff with ice, which I did with the Extreme, but in that specific case a wand type vap is much simpler. I just don't see myself using everything the Extreme can do, but I wouldnt have known that without first buying one...

The Extreme introduced me to bag/whip/forced air vaporizers and it does all of them well, but I've found myself using the PD and "wand" vaporizer (VHW, etc) more and more. The bag was fun for a little (so glad I didnt get a volcano), and the whip I like, but I would much rather run it through...

If you run a small zip tie around the bottom of the vinyl tubing in the handle it will make this 100% air tight.

Ouch, do you think the cracking is from the heater getting too hot, or the thin glass, maybe both? I thought the types of glass used in the industry were resistant to this stuff.

I ordered on the 3rd and it came in this weekend (28th) so they are definately moving existing product orders again with the lathe fixed up.

Cool thanks, that's what I had done, a few taps on the bottom to shake out a crumb. I just wanted to confirm it wasn't unusual because everything is working great.

Has anyone had anything fall out of their PD? I had a tiny piece of solder fall out of mine, I just want to make sure there isnt anything small in there that can come loose, or if this is a sign of a larger problem.

I can't help but think the same thing after looking at the herborizer bowl design. Spiral before your post-review, is the above quote still true in regards to the bowl design? What would you change after having used it, is the two piece bowl helpful?
