Is this a typo? Water boils around 100°C under atmospheric pressure, maybe you meant 185°F = 85°C? Please tell me you use some sort of huge pressure cooker precise to a tenth of a degree, that would be amazing.

You're right! The battery lasted 122 minutes (10 whole sessions, + 2 minutes).

Shorting a 18650 cell is dangerous, and once unwrapped the negative and positive sides are about 2mm apart. Heatshrink could fix this, but it will make the battery too big for the Air. I say get rid of it safely.
