For anyone who has this and an Extreme, do you find this thing eats through more bud than the E? Is that why it gives better whip hits?

For anyone who has this and a Buddha/Silver surfer, how is the efficiency on this with the elbow pack compared to them? I know the dbv/ss give better whip hits than the E, but do they eat through more bud to do so (assuming you pack an equal amount in each one)?

This probably has nothing to do with him, but there are many colleges/universities that don't allow people to plug in anything that involves heated metal in which case you'd have to unplug it to avoid getting in trouble. Theft can also be an issue if you have other people at your house often.

For anyone who owns both, how does this unit compare with a SSV/DBV and if you could have one or the other which would you rather have? Aside from the taste the VHW gives is there any significant differences between the 2 as far as performance? Sorry if its been asked, not reading thru 51 pages.
