Nano bowls are shallower and flatter than the RBT baskets and still fit in my m2m. Mine are pretty fkd up because they're my stuff and trash screens used to hold hemp fiber or any other useful screen needs, so they are all pretty much malformed. Maybe that's why they fit my m2m so well. Either way, I could use those for smaller bowls if I want. Would never do that for on the go. I like my sized bowls that I can either kill in a few lung busters or draw out for a session on the bench.

Loving this thing now with the cotton and screen, HUGE CLOUDS! Absolutely huge, life threateningly huge. Still having the honey moon faze and chewing through lots of bud, but once that stops I can see it being an efficient vape, that being said I still can't get it to work well with smaller loads. Havnt tried it with the bong (been on loan) since I did the cotton and SS trick, but previously it was like mentioned before, less milk in the tube but more Vapor on exhale, not sure how I feel about t but that's just how it seemed. I'm sure with more restriction now it will be easier to while wall! Going to find an adaptor for it again, might stil with 18-14 again as I feel the 14m end might add a bit of draw restriction.

Loading basket style, usually full but I would rather work out a way o micro dose more effectively.
Sometimes I push the basket a few mm past the glass, for super quick heat up.
Fresh battery hold 5-7 seconds then just draw, don't normally play with it during the draw instead I just kill it with say 5 seconds to go of a nice 20ish second draw, result being huge clouds!

It was 100% the open draw that was muddying up my experience (or more so my inability to draw slow with an open air path) extra restriction was key for me.

Getting 4 ish stems a battery, and at least 5 hits off a loaded basket. Would rather be doing 10 stems of 1-2 big hits will a smaller pack of possible.
Certainly using more bud than I would with say the vapman, vapcap or hammer.... But still much less than if I was smoking. Also still cooking pretty uneven, although I might start saving abv properly now so I can live with that. Never saw the need to save it with the HA or the VC, or even the vapman for that matter.

Yeah I just did this yesterday, basket style short stem, shallow bowl with just a pinch of herb, enough to cover the screen and that's it. No tamp, just my normal first hit that heat tamps, got several tasty cloudy hits but needed some preheat to finish. Keep practicing man

Signed up for Milaana duty this morning at my friendly PlanetVape recruiter. Be still my heart. Got a Nitecore D2 and a pair of the recommended Samsungs coming from Amazon. Now as to that pesky WPA?
Seems like the Oregon Glassblower is our most trusted source for 18/18 or 18/14 male to males? Any other simpler solutions besides the silicone battery caps at Sears or stretching some silicone tubing? You know, like someone just came out with something? Any advice is welcome...Thanks guys and gals. :)

I make like a flat parchment paper o-ring that I wrap around the end of the stem.
It's not the best but it works wonders with a 18F WT. I have that parchment paper o-ring permanently set on one of my Y 18Fs to 18M adapters.

Dropped! Onto cement floor, with my j-hook in, so double tragedy, glass mouthpiece broken and Milaana female cracked. Also, and this happened on my one previous drop (no glass harm on that one), the bent spring style battery contact compressed a little so battery no longer made contact.

Have other stems, Pascal is cracked but intact (no loose pieces), used a bit of bailing wire to pull the contact back into shape, back in business. Hope to wait on repairs till after all backlogs are cleared and both Canada and US sites are stocked.

Also, another vote for cotton/hemp fiber in the intake, more control.

PlanetVape actually has a wide variety of adapters that fit the milaana. My personal favourite is the Eq vortex adapter, but it depends on the water piece you have. If pv hasn't shipped your vape, you should see if you can add to your order.

Ouch. Sorry to hear that.

In the same vein like the cotton, I tried to express it several times already, I think it's important that your bowl screen is 100% covered with material and tamped just enough. In most of my vapes it's the same: if there's a hole in the material, air just flows through that hole and you get mostly blank hits.

So yes I agree it's hard to microdose in these 18mm stems because you need a certain amount of material to cover that large screen/bowl. There's a lower limit under which it's not satisfying anymore density wise. It's especially clear when you have just a pinch of loose particles that just fly around in the bowl.

One solution could be to use a 18 to 14 (or lower) converter and have a bowl with smaller diameter somewhere further downstream. I haven't tested it though as my average loads are just the right size for the 18mm screens.

eh.... I don't know about that. I'm a pretty seasoned vaper though I don't have nearly the experience as many around here, and I found it pretty easy to master nice hits from small loads while wide open. Definitely want to make sure you cover the screen for even heating, but I often do loads that are spent after 2 or 3 decent hits. Slow and steady wins the race! Think it helps if you invert everything so it stays in place until you get that first "settling in" hit in. Then less likely to have those damned open areas the heat slips through.

And sorry, don't mean to sound degrading, but if I can teach my girlfriend how to hit this slow and steady within a couple hits, anybody should be able to do it. She always hates seeing a new vape because she's afraid she won't get how to use it. Millie wasn't as easy as some, but she had it mastered by end of second sesh.

I think that's the point, can just barely cover the screen and get a few nice hits, but a covered 18mm screen is more than I like to load, tried a reducer with 14m male, but it sits very high up and requires a fair bit of heat, would have loved to see this factory 14m just for the bowl size.
Still I don't need to load anymore than say an Arizer stem, and gets huge results.
I just prefer to load .05ish loads to finish in one or two hits.

have you tried finding a smaller dome screen that fits, or possibly crinkling the end of the dome into a smaller area?
Or maybe find a flat basket and use it "dome" style and just push it to the very brim and only cover the screen. That would be a tiny amount because theres no depth due to not being a basket. That will really only work with water inverted though, or else it would just fall onto the heater.

Played around a bit last night, not bad result. Still, the 18mm bowl will always bigger than I'd like my minimum possible load (magic with bigger loads) as the size is the size and like mentioned before, still need to cover the screen minimum.

I don't know, man. Ground weed isn't too thick and I'm only talking about a thin layer. I don't even try to weigh anything that small, but we're probably talking less than .05 g inside the basket - maybe as little as half that. My lungs are pretty old and have seen 30+ years of 2 pack a day smoking, and I could easily do it all in one hit if I didn't mind coughing. If .03 or so is too much for a load, I want what you're vaping!

Hate to see more broken Milaanas, its the risk of glass, but hopefully the design will improve going forward to help prevent it further, though there will always be a risk for human error here. At least this will be good testing of the warranty service to set a strong standard for future customers, hopefully it'll be a quick turn around for those left without though

Meanwhile I thought I'd share these photos to demonstrate Milaana stealth (special blue shorty stem, colors may be returning soon!) when clutched in a hand. Can actually use this most places I can use the hopper, maybe even better since silent with no light so great in a movie theater and actually quicker honestly. So indoors and out stealth just fine in my experience as both require a technique for best performance, but I am finding control, even quick on the go, quite easy personally.

Now with short stems stowing like batteries is great, more pocketable inserted (hoodie or nontight pants), and makes another case less urgent, but I still think there is a clamshell digital camera case out there that is perfect...

Yes! In the light of day the Milaana definitely looks more like a smoking device, and it's not as easy to load at home and throw in a pocket (tho watch out for the Hopper button, there's no master on/off switch?! :)), once loaded it's definitely easier and quicker than the Hopper. No light to pay attention to and then hide, no loud click 2x per draw (turning off while drawing w just one hand requires technique, too). In the time I'm waiting for the light to turn blue on the Hopper, I'm already drawing vapor and feathering to finish a Milaana hit.

Would love to see a few hopper comparisons, will still get a hopper when finally available because of how easy it is to attach to water, and the form factor. I just can't see the hopper blowing as big clouds?
Although I'd does appear to milk WT's better.

It can cloud up fine and dense too, just lower vapor quality. Very different designs really

Today I was using the SSV like all day. I turned it off earlier and now I am vaping before bed, I just didn't want to wait for a heat up on the SSV so the milaana was of course my go to. Loaded up a short stem with @Vape Dr. silicone mod, went for a water pipe hit and dang! I got 3 nice hits out of one stem, I keep my screens dome style about 1/4 of the way up so that's super efficient compared to my SSV. And I mean my piece was milky! Not quite as milky as with the SSV but the effects and extraction beat the SSV easily. I'm so baked right now lol. Love this fucking thing! So yeah I have my VapCap Woody coming soon, and my millaana is kicking my ass now. I am going get an Evo hopefully this week and put my SSV on classifieds. Just so happy I have my Milaaana! Fucking great vaporizer :)
Stay vaped,
Peace

So, looks like i get to thank Australia Fucking post for being late to this party.

Yep. It arrived at the post office on the 17th...over 2 weeks ago.

Would have been nice if they told me. So 'Fuck you' Australia post (hint hint for full rant...)

Anyway, Milaana looks great. Works great... More later.

@Bravesst did you use the RMA form from the website?

I emailed about broken glass Tuesday and received a replacement Friday.. even got an email from RBT thanking me for being an early adopter...

It actually restored some faith I have in RBT beyond making a great product.

It was a holiday weekend...maybe that's it?

If it were me though, I'd probably just find a matching glass female and glue it in...

If there is old glass present, I would heat it with a torch from the surface of the glass for a few moments and remove.

That does sucks though.
