Imaginable
Heat lower on the cap to get heavy vapor on the first hit.

+1

Heating around near the digger end can give me first hit extraction for ground or small pieces of herbs. I like having the option to crank it up this way for concentrates too, or to get that light active feeling and less full extraction from herbs by heating near the top end. VC does a nice job with this feature imo.

@Smelly Dog You can email him and then he will have you use the contribute to the cause option on the website. He may have the website updated soon. I think his last post mentioned something about having them listed on there very soon.

Mouthpiece update. It just keeps getting better...the wooden mouthpiece fits inside an OG mouthpiece which we know seals in a 14mm female joint and then you can spin it in place on the piece while heating. Even more genius!!

Thanks!

Can we get a video of some of the modular combinations? I want to plan a build, but am unsure whether some combinations are better than others.
ex. do the mouthpieces on the omnivap detach from the condenser? do you need the omnivap condenser to use the mouth piece?

@Edmond Dantes Now, I'm not 100% sure, but I think the condenser is threaded into the mouthpiece. So it could very well be detachable. I think that's basically how it functions, by threading it in or out you move the condenser up, or down ( pretty sure ) . So I do not think a wooden MP would work for the OV.

I think I read somewhere in an earlier post that someone used hempwick when their o-rings broke.

Edit: I guess that may catch on fire though.

Yes I did it and not there is 0 risk that it catches on fire with normal use. Only risk is to break the wooden body or glass body if you make the seal too fat (it is what happened to my ti/glassy)

Holy shit! That is impressive.

I've read your posts in a whole lot of vape threads so I'd have to say that's a pretty big deal.

I still love my nano so I think these two vapes will platoon with each other. A great team.

I'd like to thank George BTW for the recent shipment. I only ordered the fat plastic mouthpiece that comes with the original. Since he is offering them free, I was only paying for shipment. George threw in two mouthpieces and a gratis torch. Much thanks!

So now I've hit a mile-marker myself here. I love this thing on my waterpipe!

Tonight were my first two bowls, but I can tell that this will become a favorite way. I just needed to add a 14 to 18mm adapter and she fits the pipe like a snug bug. I needed to watch the vapor in the glass pathway to really see the cloud forming. On the straight stem I couldn't see the vapor cloud well and didn't know if I was getting good extraction, but I am.

I'll tell you I am fucking medicated right now. I want to get better at the torch and think I need a heat soak of the bowl before the first load of herb. I want a higher temp first hit. These lower temp first hits give me vapor created which can be a little sativa-like racy for me. I like full body stone, indica high so getting that type of vapor production from the beginning is important to me. I know this little bugger can do it. I just need to tune in the torch use.

I had to stop experimenting for now. I was at it like Werner Heisenberg and then the wheels came off :freak:
It's this tiny vaporizer and its super simplicity that is impresive! And the vapor that it can pump out with the proper technic!

I usually go for heavy hits as well and I do it with a single torch (triple always killed the taste more for me), outer flame slightly touching mid cap or a little lower sometimes and smooth, even heating while rolling the Vapcap between fingers...

Man, how many times have I dreamt awake of me and a Vapcap in a big weed forest with hundreds of strains around me in full bloom, a small stream in the middle and a hammock between a few fruit trees.... Paradise on earth! :haw:

I have had this little vape for around six weeks and have found that packing less is better for taste and bigger hits. This is the first vape I have owned where this is the case. For the first five weeks, I packed it full and the results were there. This week I tried half full with a stronger pull, and I got a much bigger and tastier hit. All of my other vapes are the opposite. I have been using a triple flame and heating it way above the flame.

Have to agree here. I still load it all the way up with ground material sometimes - like if I'm heading out and don't want to have to reload on the go. But, think my favorite in the OG VC has become very small nugglies between 1/2 & 3/4 full. I have been carrying my reload material in a little plastic canister (like for beads). I bust it up into small nugglies and when time to reload I just dip the tip in there and give it a little suck like it is a straw. Takes a little practice, but not too hard to suck up about 2/3 a chamber full. Not that I've really tried, but easier to load like this than heating with the torch while driving. ;)

At first I thought mine may be because of contamination in the gas but it only happens when the click occurs and it happens on the cap. Crap in the gas travels in the flame. It's going to take some doing but I will try and video it.

I just got a new 5 stage grinder with pollen press, anyone have experience with these extracts being used in the vapcap? Can't wait to receive my TI/Woody and find out!
